Nook closes at 1am. Just keep the doors open and make sure you don't time travel until you find out if you have a cat in your town (I was burned by that many a time in WW)

I was dropping Bells since jdm isn't able to go to nbballard's town to sell turnips if he has to stay in his with his gate open. I also left some Bells for nbballard for each trip.

I'm done for now. Thanks, guys! Time to pay off my house and get my fountain!
 
If anyone has a Golden axe already, would you mind letting me borrow it for a day? I need to chop down all non-fruit bearing trees and replace em with ones that will. I wasted 5 axes getting rid of the upper level trees...and those were supposed to be for Serena. :cry:

Music, you can borrow mine, or just have my 3 extra normal axes. I've been trying to get an extra golden to give away so I don't really need them.
 
How much do you need to donate for a fountain? Or a new bridge? And if I get a bridge, do I get to choose where it goes?

A total of 750k bells (250 = bridge, +500 more = fountain). It has set locations, usually 2-3, where you can choose to place it. Mine were only in the lower half of my town.

I don't really need them, and I'm not even sure if you can get more than one golden axe from a fountain. But I'll send over the golden axe tonight anyway.

Yes, it is very very stupid. Brawl also suffers from this, which creates situations where you want to play it at a friend's house, but you have to take your whole damn system since they might not have the same set of characters unlocked.

Well, in my case, its that I want to create a new town, yet dont want everything gone and having to spend hours getting stuff such as my gold tools over again, and so that if I need to, I can always copy my FCL over or just play from my old town

So, I gave town hall 750K and all I got was some GODDAMN BRIDGE! That fucking bird owes me a damn fountain. Anything I did wrong? I paid in these increments:

500K -----> Led to bridge

Which means I should 300K left right?

300K + 250K = Fountain????

Didn't get it though. fucking bird. I could've paid off my house.
 
I'm not sure, I think you will have 300K towards your fountain once your bridge shows up.
When you can donate again, add 200K and see what happens.

Apparently, anything you donate over the next reward gets discarded. So if I donated 300k for the bridge, the extra 100k would not go towards the 500k needed for the fountain.
 
Aww yeah today i turned on my game and i had a blue Pansie. Weird because the only other flowers around that new one, was two white Pansies. Maybe my new Silver Water Can had something to do with it?

You know it sure takes a hell of a long time for someone to move out. Tiffany is still sitting in her house with boxes. This after a week of her asking if she should move or not.

My visit with mint last night went okay. I didnt get any nookie, but i did get her pine table for a low price. LOL
 
So what gets me a bridge? 200k or 250k? I read on Gamefaqs that it was 200k.

These are the hybrid mixes for Wild World. They're probably the exact same for City Folk.

Pansies:
Red + Red = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
White + White = Blue

Tulips:
Red + Red = Black
Red + White = Pink
Red + Yellow = Purple
Yellow + Yellow = Black

Cosmos:
Red + Red = Black
Red + White = Pink
Red + Yellow = Orange

Roses:
Red + Red = Black
Red + White = Pink
Red + Yellow = Orange
White + White = Purple
Black + Purple = Blue
When you water a wilted Black Rose with the golden watering can it will turn gold the next day.

Purple and blue pansies are my favorite, but all I've been getting are the pink flowers.
 
You failed to mention the price of the turnips. Is it still 103? And does anyone else have high turnip prices at their Nook's?

Ohh thanks. I thought the only way to get new colors was to mix two of different color. Damn. All this time i spent planing how to get the same colors not to touch. LOL
