Man what a fun night, i swear if you didn't get that jingle clock at that last one i was gonna give you mines Janet (i took the item out from one of my letters just before that) teamwork definitely was needed to get sets, i tried after to help my niece in her town but it wasn't the same, i lost like 7 items due to the resetti blue screen of death but got it back with the quickness with Janet's save after every 2 items rule, now i got to google sweet tea vodka

Funny thing - I spent hours doing the Jingle thing at Janet's and Miranda's and in my town and never got one. Then my son got on, and the second thing he got from Jingle was a wardrobe :lol:. Still, it's good you sent me one because he wouldn't give it to me - and this after I gave him 500,000 bells from my turnip flipping this afternoon :rofl:

Jingle getting stuck in the river was pretty weird - Miranda had to quit and restart for that to get fixed!

Couldn't talk to him in there. We tried going in and out of buildings, saving, someone leaving my town. I had to end the party for him to get out of there.

When TJ said he was "in the river" I thought he just meant he was standing near it. I didn't think he'd really be in it. LOL.
 
I have 4 extra beds and a carpet if someone is willing to trade for them. I think I have one more extra item, but I forget atm. Surprisingly you can still go in people's houses at this hour, but Jingle is gone.

WTF? I checked when I opened my gate. Only BL had his gates open besides me. Almost NOBODY came. Once I close and look at CAG, the only one mentioning opening their gates is me and BL. Yet, I look at the gates open and DaisyDog's town had 4 people! I thought since I was on EST I'd open before Daisy and we could visit other towns after a while, but it wasn't until 8:30 that anybody came at all, and maybe nine or so a few more came.

I am willing to trade/buy with anybody for a Jingle bed.

What the hell. The last two times i threw an axe into the fountain she just talked and took it. She didnt even ask me if i threw it, or if it was a gold, silver, or regular axe. What gives?

The other time she asked if she looked different and i said yes, and she said she had her eye lashes done. Blah blah blah..... then she left.

And it seems you can only do the axe thing once per day. Unless you can do it again with a different axe.

Good morning to all. Nook is being somewhat generous this morning by offering 297 bells per turnip. I'll open my gates if anyone wants to stop by.

Also, a brand new bridge has opened up that is slightly less convenient than the other ones. And I just donated another 500k so hopefully I'll be getting a Fountain soon. Although Pelly didn't give me any reaction about it. I'm worried.

EDIT: Gates are open. Remember to not run and to not pick up any of the items near the gate, okay?

Aww what the hell. Today sucked.

I threw another axe in and she said it hit her, and asked if i didnt like her. I said i liked her and she said oh she must be having a bad day and then left. Thats three times in a row she didnt even give me an axe back, or even ask what kind of axe i threw in.

Then i see mr beaver on the bridge. So i went home cos i have a few drawers full of scallops. I grab a white scallop and head back over to him. All he does is talk and then jumps in the river. He didnt take the scallop and didnt give me a present!

The only good thing today was i found a new hybrid flower. Check it out.

Both my hybrids grew by trees+flowers. Maybe trees help them appear?

I'd go for the one on the bottom. And I did for my town.

I have an island too, but my existing bridge was in the spot where they're giving you the choice, and I voted to put on in the spot where your existing bridge is. Does that make sense?

It was really annoying to have to stop half-way down the beach while fishing, turn left and walk a distance before I could cross to head back down to the beach.


In Hanover news, I'm 4 days in on perfect-town status and I've got a few Jacob's Ladders that I'm very excited about.

Up until now, I only had the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing. That means I've never done wi-fi.

What do you need to do to get people to show up as confirmed in your friend list? Do you have to be online at the same time as them? :whistle2:k
 
Is anyone on satellite internet?
Just wondering if it's fast enough to travel between towns with, otherwise I'll be pretty lonely.

I'm able to download Wii updates, but they're pretty slow.

Yes, you can only go to another persons town by speaking to copper and either opening your gates to wait for people to come or look for open gates if there are any

Man it sucks i cant copy my save to a SD card. So i have no way of making a 2nd town, unless i erase the first one.

Oh i got my 3rd hybrid, orange roses. But i didnt take a pic of it.
 
i've finally got perfect town status. and now i've just got to hold it for 15 days.

it seemed like a good time to do it since i don't have any fish or bugs i need to catch for a while. and having that many trees makes fish and bug catching just a little more difficult.

anyone else planning to get a golden watering can?
