Laptop died, writing ftom wii....I started a new town up, posting FC in a little while..I started over because once you have the ability to buy and do anything, it gets boring. I gave away a shitton of things to J, but kept a few of the really rare stuff for the new game. We ended the night by axing everything, TTing 20 years in the future, and throwing my shark in the pond XD... Pics in a little while.
 
Yeah! That's why I was gettin confused with you being SO rich SO fast! I hit the lottery last night, and like a true ghetto person, I went out and spent all my money on furniture :rofl:

There are some items you can only get from Redd, so yes. All of those paintings are Redd :(..it's ashame I have YET to get a real one.

..Am I doing something wrong?
 
ok, he has a vision tester, a painting, and and big chess piece or some horse.............i don' t know. ANy advice on if I should get one of these?

The vision tester can be bought from Nook for 2280. The painting... it's a gamble... but if it's real it can be added to your museum. It'll most likely be a fake, but you won't know until after you buy it and show it to Blathers.

The black/white rooks can only be bought from Redd.
 
Redd will tell you if any of his items are only available at his shop. Otherwise, you can find it cheaper whenever Tom Nook sells it. Other than that, it's completely up to you ;)

I'm 5/5 for legit Redd paintings, and I've bought and donated basic and common paintings from Tom Nook.

Tonight I gave Wendell a Black Bass and he gave me a grass pattern.

It's not perfect, but if you absolutely hate the bare ground patches it might work for you.

Thanks, are we reg'd? I just added some people that PM'd me and hit the limit. I had to remove a non-connector. The way it works is an empty heart means you both have registered each other but not met yet? And no heart means they haven't reg'd you, right? I have several CAGs with no heart ;), so they are next in line to go.
 
Well all I'm gone for the next two days, but I'm going to take my system with me and HOPEFULLY be able to get online. We'll see how that pans out.

I'm getting a bit more into the holiday mood. :]
 
Does grass regrow in this game? Or is it once it goes brown, you're out of luck?

That's kind of a drag I guess. Anyways, paid off another Mortgage and Nook is building me a basement. That arrogant ass.

Oh, and voting started for my town's new bridge, and they gave me the 2 WORST POSSIBLE locations ever. 'oh you want a bridge? We have 2 spots. Both are approximately 50 steps from the other bridge. Nothing convenient for you, dur!'

Ok I've sent it. You were on my friends list and it had a full heart so I'm guessing that it will work.

i've got to say. i think you guys are all crazy. i love the paths that get formed. i've always placed my trees in such a way where i can run from place to place as fast as possible. and now on top of that i've got a cool little path. which is especially cool in the snow.

and the more worn in the paths are, the better they look.

I dont think you get our problem! Most of us didn't know about this.. so.. we ran everywhere. EVERYWHERE. We don't have PATHS, we have AREAS of dirt. It's making building snowmen rather difficult because of the lack of grass/snow


I think the concept IS cool but they def made running kill the grass WAAAAY too fast. :(
Killing does too, BUT, not as fast. No where near as quick
 
While I'm typically pretty OCD when it comes down to how nice things look, if a decision has to be made between a nice town where I have to walk everywhere, or a grubby wasteland where I can run free, I'll pick the wasteland. Things go too slow with having to run around and pick up batches of fruit in multiple trips as it is.
