I don't want anyone going out of thier way to get me this set.

On a side note I have two beetle chairs and two cicada stereos I'm looking to trade for some of the other insect set items. Lady bug chair, honeybee chest, stag beetle chair, spider web clock, butterfly table.

I think I can still get them during the next two Bug Offs but I want the set now.

I'd be interested to hear from the designers about that. I wonder if it's still loading town info at that point, or if there was a game design reason behind it.
 
I think its left there so the person opening the gates knows who arrives and leaves since it actually identifies the visitor. I guess it also serves as extra animation to show of the different types of trains. but yeah, wish there animations or repeated conversations you can skip out completely via toggle switch or something.

Anyway, has anyone got any good turnip price this week? Seems like everyone including myselg got stuck with crap prizes all week. If this week doesnt end well, ill be taking a huge loss on turnips.
 
I'm trying to get in on GameFAQ's.  Hate that place, but, I also really do NOT want to take a loss on these turnips!

"The Center may open in the evening after a day of clear weather if the gates are closed. There also must have been rain or snow in the town the day before, or prior to 6:00 AM of the following day. Only one player from each town may visit the Center each time it opens. Repeated visits by the player will allow them to obtain Pictures from both Resetti brothers."

Was able to sell all my turnips (via GameFAQ's) for 55X! (Phew!)



Good for you. Havent tried gamefaqs yet. I still enjoy our community and dont want to add other people. My pm price is down to 64! Sheesh! Had random price pattern throughout the week!

I'm trying Gamefaqs now. I was in on one, and when someone else came into town it resetti'ed us. Waiting for the all clear to come back.

 
I think I'll open up for a bit. Katrina is in town but my turnip prices suck. I don't remember what they are right now but it's crap. I'll take Katie if you still need to unload her. I'll probably be away for most of this but will check to make sure it hasn't resetti every once in a while.

All my catalog stuff is still out. I know I have a stag beetle chair, will have to check any others.

Ugh. Shoulda waited. I got nervous yesterday and took Dawn up on her 347. Still made a decent profit but that's almost double :headache:

I'll look around for some when I make the sparkle happen but I'm pretty sure I don't have any.

Man it is nice not being under the cloud of 15 straight perfect days anymore. Got the lighthouse built this morning and started the first of a few orchards last night. Of course now that I'm thinking about adding a campsite this puts all of these in peril. I also got my second villager picture today, still not from who I wanted it from but at least they are coming.

sorry. I don't know what's going on. I don't have any problems connecting to ppl but I keep crashing when someone joins. I restarted my 3ds and router if you guys wanna attempt again. guys have any suggestions?

So... I'm contemplating a mental break from as much technology as possible for about a month. If I don't play ACNL for that long, what will happen? Will my town dry up and will everyone hate me?

At 131 now, I'll still leave it open for a little bit for someone that wants to grab Sydney/drop off Katie/whatever.
