I feel bad for her family.
Her son just died and she just had a baby. The death was not surprising but still sad to see anyone go at a young age.

The wife called me at work about this. I was a major ANS fan - I had her Playboys, the specials and everything. Her E! show was my guilty pleasure. (I kidded my wife about her daughter being born on my birthday, and alluded to the REAL reason Anna named her children varations of my name. ;) )

Sure, she had problems, and all...but I really feel bad for her daughter now. She'll never know her mom and will grow up only knowing what people thought of her based, mostly, on her public persona - she'll never be able to say, "Well, when I was a kid, she wasn't like what you saw, she was really..."

I normally don't give a rat's ass about celebrities, but this does sadden me. Say what you will, she did have a lot of problems, but it is such a shame it robbed an infant of her mother...

I can admit that I am pretty saddened by this...

RIP. Even though her actions are to be questioned pretty much er whole life, it's terrible to die at 39 years old, and leaving an infant alone to boot.

Did ANS look like she was a great parent from what you saw? She sure as hell didn't to me. This is the BEST thing that has ever happened to her daughter.

Ephedra was legal again for a time last year...I know it went BACK to the courts again and I'm not sure what the status is right now. I did stock up while it was legal though.

Holy shit guys... I just get home and this is the first thing I read on the internets. Jesus Christ. I didn't see this coming so I thought it was a Bill Nye thing, but perhaps I should have saw it coming. She's been fucked up all her life. I just can't believe she'd do herself in considering she has an infant daughter. That's ridiculous; why would anyone do that to their child? I'm not really sure how to feel about this. I guess she was just that fucked up.

RIP, you gave us lots of entertainment over the years, though often at your own expense.

Its funny how every now and then a celebrity dies, and the world suddenly becomes a better place.

She was a walking trainwreck, an example of how exactly NOT to be.

If I had to put my money on it, I'd wager she died of complications from heart failure, probably brought on by whatever the hell is in those TRIMSPA diet pills.
Watch this company disappear in six months.

She was either consistantly stoned on that TV show she did, or mildly retarded from white trash beatings as a kid. Nobody slurs their speech that consistantly without being high, or suffering from blunt force trauma to the head :p

Trimspa, blow, booze and whatever other antidepressants she was on finished her off. Losing 70lbs in 6 months by starvation and popping pills probably was the cause.
 
Sanjay Gupta on CNN said when Anna Nicole was taking Trimspa Ephedra was not banned. Of course it is way to early to say that played a factor, but you never know.

If she had a weak heart from using it, it could have been a factor. Dr. Sanjay Gupta said it won't be known if it was a factor until the autopsy.
 
Ephedra is still sold on the open market under the guise of a vasodiolator (which is supposed to clear mucus from your respiratory system, according to the marketing). You can buy it pretty easily on the tubes, but then again I can buy Oxymetholone pretty easily as well. And if I were a goddamn cheater, I would.

The super popular diet pill combination of Phen-Fen (or whatever the two drugs were), is still killing people today.

It did the damage to the users heart-valves and now thousands upon thousands of people have damaged, weakened heart muscles.

Its very, very easy to believe that TrimSpa destroyed her heart, and she was just another line of coke or another handfull of antidepressants away from dropping dead....which she did.

I feel bad for her daughter, but I also agree....at least the little girl has a chance at a normal life now. Can you imagine that as a mom? No thanks.....
