You want a whole thread closed because of one's comments. I may not agree with what he said but he still has a right to say it.

Fen-Phen was different in that it was a combination of two drugs, the "Fen" part being the most likely culprit in terms of causing heart damage. "Phen" is a more standard drug in the same class as most other diet pills which don't damage the heart directly per se but increase the heart rate and blood pressure, thereby adding strain to the heart and potential inducing a heart attack. I heard that her son had a congenital heart condition and those tend to be hereditary so she may have had a similar condition.
