:?: Do you have a pic of said universal charger or at least a link to where I can buy one? I was way disappointed when I found out that I can't use the same charger for my old DS/SP for my lite. And would this charger also work for the psp, because that would be clutch.

The cable is universal in the sense that it charges all the Nintendo handhelds. The cigarette plug would be able to charge anything that charges through USB.

I just watched the speech the President made to the troops today on the news.

I may not agree with him on the war or like his personality.... But today he gave what is probably the greatest speech of his political career. Better than any speech Clinton or Bush 1 ever gave. On the par with the best stuff from Kennedy and Reagan.

I never thought he had the eloquence to make a speech like that. Partly because his speechwriting crew is terrible and secondly because he doesn't have the skills to give good speeches. But every once and awhile, coincidence and events come together to produce amazing results. This speech was one of them.
 
Looks nice, I assume it's safe to get third party recharging devices? 'Cuz I don't trust third party stuff at all, let alone Pelican, but if it's reasonably safe then it might be good to pick up for backup purposes.

Plus, the DC -> USB charger is a nice addon since you can use it for other stuff.

I'm usually hesitant about 3rd party as well but I figured, how can they screw up a charger? It seems to be working fine right now.

The DC USB charger is excellent. They could have just as easily not made the USB cable seperate but the way they designed it gives you a lot of options for using it. Like I said earlier, I can use it to charge anything USB like my iPod (car chargers for iPods aren't cheap) or even my cell phone.
 
I've asked this before and will ask again now -- how many of you have ordered from liksang or play-asia? If so, what shipping method would you recommend? I was going to order from ncsx as per subby's recommendation, but I'm slightly aggravated with them now... so now I'm looking at liksang and playasia which run a lot cheaper to start with but won't remain so depending on which shipping option I select.

Any opinions on these companies would be welcome. Thanks.
 
Hey you guys remember that MTV show FEAR!

They took kids to like really scary places and made then to mission there in the middle of the night. Then if they were to scared to do something the got booted off. That was the only MTV show i ever liked.

So, I'm playing CiV 4 as Hitler and I wipe the Chinese off the face pf the map because I need breathing space. Yet, I got no bonus points or a major improvement in score.

What's up with that?

I love my ibook, but I'd much rather have a desktop at my dorm desk all the time, and then use my laptop around the dorm, in class and at home.

Well I want to do some gaming on the Mac through BootCamp so an iMac is as low as I'd go. Plus its space-saving design is awesome.

And on the subject of the DS. The wow factor for the ds lite is wearing off quicker than I expected. I almost miss my fat DS. The good thing is some other people at work have picked it up so I've been playing a lot of multiplayer Mariokart, Tetris, and Brain Age. I'm embarrassed to say I got my ass handed to me repeatedly in Brain Age :oops: Also I just picked up Big Brain Academy today, which I hear is better for multiplayer.

You know I just had a great idea? I'm going to wait for the graphics card in the mac mini to get better, then pick it up, buy the cable to connect it to the hdmi port on my tv, and use the wired 360 controller. It would make for a sweet lil console that can play PC games ;)

Well keep in mind the graphics of a Mac Mini couldn't get too great because of its insanely ergonomic small design. I doubt they could fit a powerful card with a heatsink and fan in there.

Oh and I must say, the DS lite blends in nicely on my desk :)

I used to love Godsmack, but in the past year my taste in metal has changed for the extreme, and I cannot even stand to listen to them anymore.

I was conisdering getting an iBook, but then I realized I would never use it, what with a linux laptop, XP laptop, and XP desktop.

I understand there was a few times that they strayed to far into pop/rock. There new album went back to a little more hard. Since you are into the more extreme I see why you don't like them.

Hell if you don't want one of those laptops you can donate one to me.

Just played the demo for Hitman Blood Money. I don't know why I thought I would like it. I guess after hearing everybody talk about it I got sucked into the hype.

Yeah i dont like that show. I love stand up but you cant get a feel for anyone because they only show one or 2 jokes and thats it. Also this season is fucking gay because there are so many already B/C list celeb on there. Some of them are already on a tv show..thogh they are not the star but they are already known.

The show is more annoying then funny.

Didn't enjoy it? I didn't enjoy it so much either.

However, it does absolutely no justice for the rest of the game, which thoroughly kicks dick / ass / vagina / boobies.

I'm all for kicking boobies but you'll have to forgive me if I'm hesistant to drop $40 on it. It seems like it'll be a good buy for $20, though.

or just pick up the prequel, hitman contracts for $10...

...unless Blood Money is a huge improvement, im not completely sure about that...
