Details requested!

Which of these are fun? For the emulation/remakes, which are accurate?

Kinda tempted to get space invaders.

Ms Pac Man wireless is great, although Im tempting to get the wired one to avoid batteries. It has a great collection of games on it, although pole position is pretty strange with that controller.

Are you sure the wired one doesn't need batteries? The plug n play game I have, the 2-player atari paddle thing (which is great BTW - it even has circus atari, a very very morbid game where clowns risk their lives - and ultimately die - to pop balloons) does need them.

They ALL require AA batteries. The wireless one eats 8 at a time!

The Menacer games are a bit boring, but Spongebob is fun and the Namco games are great. Can't comment on fantasic four.

The emulation is perfect is most of the games. Some like the Fantastic Four and Sponge Bob contain orginal games.

The only problem is with Pole Position on the Ms. Pacman models- you have to turn the joystick to steer. It just takes some getting used to.

I guess I dont know that. But the wireless one requires batteries for the base and the controller. I just saw that the wired one doesn't save scores though, so I won't bother with it. The wireless does save high scores.

Anyone play the menacer one?

All Plug N Play games require batteries, I think:p Your best investment is the power adaptor that screws into the bottom, saves on batteries unless you have rechargeable.

These are great deals for those who did not get in on the Wal-Mart Clearence a few months ago. I scored most of these for $4.98 and some probably can be found at $2.50 now (Caleco 12 games-in-one).

I picked up Space Invaders about a year ago when it was $9.99. The Space Invader's game seems kind of difficult (more than other versions I have played) but overall it's a good collection of games.

I might pick up the Outrun game.

Sweet deal, thanks. At only $5, I ordered them all except for the Dragonball-Z game (and only the wireless version of Ms. Pac-Man).

Free shipping rocks, but I feel a little dirty paying some guy in a warehouse $2.99 to handle my package.

Jerk! I am on the fence about ordering 2-3 and here you are pushing me off!

I picked up the wireless Ms. Pac Man and Spongebob 2. Thanks OP

EDIT: I'm having a Dragonball Z shipped to my friend. He's a huge DBZ fan.

Thanks OP
I ordered TV Games, Namco Classic II: Ms. Pacman. Glad I decided not to get it at Super Target Saturday for $12.99.
Ah, good old CAG. I can always count on you to make me buy shit I wouldn't want otherwise...
Ditto. I got Outrun, Wireless Ms. Pac Man, Space Invaders and Menacer.

Anybody have a link to one of those power adaptors?

.

hehe, he handled mine for free.

so what's this DBZ all about? those look like PS2 graphics.

That is an error. Imagine something for the Sega Genesis and you're there.
Also thanks OP. These will make great presents for my noob relatives next Christmas.

Thanks, my sister's birthday is coming up so I got her the Spongebob and Namco Classic II ones. Total with tax: $10.48. That seems pretty reasonable for a nice birthday gift.

FYI

Just got in from Gamestop.

I picked up an Atari Flashback 2 for $4.99.

They also had the Texas Hold 'Em and Madden for $4.99 as well.

Decided not to get the wireless pac-man, since it uses - gasp - 8 AA batteries, which is a bit silly. I might still order space invaders though.

Maybe if I didn't have these games multiple times on various compilation discs already. Even $5 is too much.

Derwood (heh heh, wood), I just about creamed myself looking at that Atari Flashback, especially for $5. Does it feel like the real thing... all... woody...?

thanks op. Picked up spongebob for my niece and nephew since its two players and has original games. And I picked up manancer for brothers and me for some shooting competitions.

Shit, that's rite. I remember reading something about that in Hardcore Gamer magazine.

Now I'm gonna stock up on 20 of those babies and build an Atari collection.

I haven't pulled it out yet...

I'll let you know.

Wow I didn't think anyone really liked these things as much I do. I've got both original wired namco collections, the Atari joystick, SpaceInvaders, and Tetris.
Are all these TV games $5? Such as the red or blue sega genesis controller one and the 2-player Street Fighter II with the 6-button controller.

I bought all the games except the wireless Ms. Pac-Man. :)

It was annoying having to pay tax though. When did Gamestop.com start charging tax for orders shipped to CA?

I wanted a copy of Tatio Legends for Xbox. I'm not sure If Ill pick the Tatio joystick instead.

I wish it had "Elevator Action" on that..

I'd urge folks NOT to buy these things, even at $5. The reason is that they are nowhere near close to being emulated well, and they control like crap. The Space Invaders one, with Qix, is really bad. Trust me, I know, I own them (Christmas gifts) and I wouldn't pawn these off to anyone. Stay away!

Taito Legends absolutely blows this crummy stick out of the water. The Xbox version is really good, but that stick...avoid at all costs!

I lost my Menacer... I called because I entered the wrong shipping address and had them enter another one. I checked my order after that and they entered the wrong zip, so I called again and they said they cannot change it (wtf) and cancelled it. After that, I then went to purchase it again, using the same credit card number and address, but it said there was something wrong. I tried a few more times and had no luck. I call again and they tell me my account is locked for 24 hours for some reason and the woman assured me that they have enough in stock for me to order one tomorrow, and now they're sold out, stupid Gamestop.

I just purchased one of the space invaders games, my alltime fave classic... I hope it'll be good. Can someone post a link to a site where you can purchase those plug n play adapters... I'm not usign ebay right now....
... I'm not usign ebay right now....
I'm curious about the "right now" part. If you don't trust them, it would be more permanent, but "right now" sounds like you have a suspended account. :)

Wow that Atari thing with 40 games looks pretty cool for $5. I picked up the wireless mrs pacman from walmart for $10 a while back. I played it that day and it's been sitting there ever since. I had to use the batteries for something else and ya know...... :D It was pretty good though and easily worth $5.
