Like Hogan w/ the Mr. America gimmick? or Nova w/ the Simon Dean gimmick? BTW, wtf happened to him?

Elijah does not approve of the new tmnt movie...

Memories. I love my memories, especially when they are good ones. So could someone please tell me why in the world are they remaking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? I mean, for crying out loud. I'm all for remakes, but if you remake something, it should definitely blow the older versions out of the water. In many cases, most remakes fail (i.e. Bewitched, Jason X, Superman Returns…again and again and again, etc.). I've seen a special screening of new TMNT movie, and let me tell you that those four green turds would be better off left in the sewer. Their legacy is already set, and bringing them back to the big screen is a big mistake that will hurt their reputation…much like the ECW Originals.

Too bad the new TMNT movie isn't a remake... Elijah fails.

Or maybe the dude should learn the difference between remake and sequel.

Nobody gives a crap about the dark, comic book inspired TMNT, we wanna see remakes with Beebop, Rocksteady, and The Rat King, dammit!

Here's something I'm glad WWE hasn't promoted, like Ashley's Playboy.

Vito is apparently in the Playgirl magazine that is in stores this week.

 @ Spoiler tags for that.

So is Vito giving fans the full monty or is it like when Sean was in it? Honestly, I would be surprised if any of the guys went full monty considering the homophobia in wrestling to start with.

Wrestling is the gayest sport in the world, with only high school wrestling being a close second. How can there be homophobia when JBL soaps up a rookies ass to make him "pay his dues"?

I was under the impression that ol' HBK gave the fans the full monty; did he cover himself up in Playgirl? I can't imagine being a happy fan if the role were switched (if, say, Ashley remained covered up in Playboy).

Deuce & Domino's "Greasers" act may be getting blown off. They lost to Henry O. Godwinn & Cousin Cletus (Ray Gordy) in a dark match prior to SmackDown last week. That's not a good sign. They haven't appeared on television since 2/23.

Ouch. Jobbing to H.O.G.?!?

Greg Maddux pisses on rookies in the shower so I don't think professional wrestling is as horrible as people make it out to be (though some of the stuff like shitting in bags is way over the top).

Heads would roll my friend, heads would roll.

But then again, I think Maxim style photography is much better than Playboy, regardless of the nudity.

I pretty much detest Playboy's airbrushed photography, but Ashley looks a lot more fit and toned compared to her Ryan Mackenzie days.

Hager eventually wins with a "roll of the dice/test driver/shake, rattle and roll" sort of move, but with the opponent in a perfect plex hookup. I've seen someone do this move elsewhere, but can't quite recall.[/QUOTE]
Sounds like Perry Saturn's old "moss-covered three-handled credenza" neckbreaker.

Anyone who uses a Dr. Seuss quote as a finisher is pretty badass.

Ok, since it's getting closer and I apparently haven't noticed if it was mentioned earlier - who is going to 'Mania besides me? Are you going, Horse? And how about the HoF inductions or the RoH shows on Friday and Saturday?

WrestleMania 24 is coming to the city of Orlando. News 13's John Handiboe confirmed the giant WWE plans to make an official announcement Wednesday morning.

The wrestling extravaganza will take place in the spring of 2008 at the Amway Arena, sources explained to entertainment reporter John Handiboe.

However, the Central Florida Sports Commission will only say they are holding a press conference to announce a major international event that will attract more than 70,000 visitors from around the world.

The commission says after six months of negotiations it will be a five day event within the [ Region bringing significant branding opportunities and television coverage.

News 13 has also learned that dignitaries from World Wrestling Entertainment were in Orlando at the beginning of the year to tour the Amway Arena.

The commission says Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, John Saboor, President of the Central Florida Sports Commission and sports leaders will attend the press conference at the City Hall Rotunda. The announcement is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m.

This year, WrestleMania 23 will be held in Detroit Sunday, April 1.

wow gay....

JBL vs. Shawn Michaels is being advertised but the last word we heard (actually for sure as of a few days ago), they weren't going to do a match. JBL will be there and something will happen involving him.

The animal vs Undertaker for a rematch for the title. Sounds like taker is going to win the title at wm23

cause If undertaker loses why would there be a rematch

For years I was wondering what the hell that was called. I never did quite understand it when it was said.

Jumping to conclusions based off the trailer, the Austin movie looks the most like a "real movie" out of the 3 WWE films so far. Not that I'd pay the 9 bucks (or whatever) to see it, but I'll watch it on DVD or on the XBL Marketplace.
