3) Delirious and Pelle Primeau over Adam Pearce and Shane Hagadorn when Delirious made Hagadorn tap. Pearce was brawling with Pelle outside the ring during the submission.

4) Jimmy Jacobs, Brent Albright, and Lacey over Colt Cabana, BJ Whitmer, and Daizee Haze when Jacobs pinned Daizee after putting her thru a table. Don't quote me on the finish. Daizee got a standing O from the crowd.

Let's make this a little more legible.

Disney had its own "extreme" yogurt - "extreme" means nothing anymore, which is one reason ECW actually keeping that part of its name is so fitting. Anyways, I got the Heroes of World Class director's cut, and the music is licensed!... or at least appears to be, as there are music licensing credits on the back of the package, along with a massive list of extras.

Original ECW nailed the whole "extreme" thing, simply because it was effortless.
Thoes look pretty good. Are they new? :)

myke: We all knew WSX was going to be that way. Didn't you see the trailer? I didn't tune in to see mat wrestling... you can't have proper matches with a 30 minute show. I tuned in to see people like Sydal and Evans finally get some exposure... mostly Evans I kind of think Sydal sucks. And to see New Jack being a crazy son of a bitch. Fact of the matter is, before TNA came along... I wasn't really into or even aware of indy wrestling at all (ROH or any other promotion). I got AJ Styles to thank for that... I'm hoping WSX opens up a world for the few fans that are interested but not in the know.

ahmed: That ROH video you posted represents the very reason I can't get into ROH. It seems like most of their wrestlers... like Strong, Aries (pre-TNA Macho Man gimmick), Homicide (pre-TNA LAX gimmick), McGuiness, Jacobs, Rave, Richards, etc are so generic. It's as if all they do is emulate Japanese wrestling. The formula seems to be start off with traditional mat wrestling, incorporate stiff kicks and power moves, and finish with a head drop or a submission. Of course I still prefer ROH to a lot of stuff, especially when you have guys like CM Punk, Joe, Danielson, Evans, Delirious, Briscoes, and few others.

Anyone know what Rave calls his legsweep neckbreaker move? I'm not even sure if that's what it is, it's just what it looks like.

Its kinda funny seeing you bash ROH there PhrostByte when you have Alex Shelly - a guy who first started making his name in ROH - as your avatar.

Anyways watching Impact right now. Nice opening. I wish they didn't have Abyss screaming during James Mitchell's promo tho. It kinda brought it ton a slight notch.

I only complained about a few of the wrestlers... Shelley wasn't one of them.. Actually I like the majority of the ROH guys that came to TNA.

And who the hell is that dopey looking blonde that was "interviewing" VKM this week. Could they get any more generic looking women to be in wrestling?
And who the hell is that dopey looking blonde that was "interviewing" VKM this week. Could they get any more generic looking women to be in wrestling?
Letishia.

And yeah the VKM stuff is pointless.

OH YEZERZ ITS KONNAN!

I'm worried about that "Truth" Killings movie poster parody, A Few Good Black Men -- I'm hoping it's just a parody of his "I'm going to Hollywood" claim... and not a black stable.

Leave that tasteless racial shit to the WWE.
What's the deal between VKM and Christy Hemme? I mean, is there anything more pointless??
There doesn't seem to be a point, although it is finally getting back to the James Gang breakup that they began for one week back in October and then abandoned. I'm wondering who the faces and heels are in this feud - Christy should be a face because she's crusading for equality, but she's getting more boos than anyone not affiliated with LAX, while Kip is playing a sexist and getting cheered, while BG is trying to play peacemaker and ends up siding with the sexist in the end. There's "shades of gray" and then there's confusing bullshit - this is confusing bullshit.

Just wanted to say that I FINALLY got my own copy of Smackdown vs Raw 2007 for the 360. I haven't played it yet, but I'd love to compete against some of you guys. My Gamertag is MattYoung.

Once you get past the LAUGHABLY horrible load times, it's decent. It's really pretty, but gets old pretty fast. It honestly loads EVERY screen, leading to actually wrestling three or four matches an hour in the season mode.

Got back from the show. Crowd sucked so much ass guys. They were so horrible, especially for the first half. Wrestling was solid all around, although Joe/Cide kind of blew. Joe nevertheless took some crazy bumps, including two piledrivers on the floor, an ace crusher off the top rope, and another ace crusher in the ring. I tried starting a number of chants with my brother but really, until intermission, all was pretty much quiet. Jersey crowds are shit.

MOTN was easily Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans vs. Delirious, Davey Richards & Shingo. There were a lot of insane spots there, the best of which was Jack Evans being German Suplexed on Austin Aries back (who was standing facing away from them). Just wow.

Entertainer of the night easily had to be Julius Smokes who got the crowd more into the show than Joe or 'Cide did (though not necessarily the match). He pissed off this old white haired woman (we called her grandma) who came running at him with middle fingers flying! Hilarious, hilarious stuff. The chant of 'fuck 'em up Grandma, fuck 'em up!" went on for nearly a minute. And Julius would keep coming back every time the match got slow calling the woman a skank ass bitch, reaching into the crowd showing off his golden teeth, or knocking hats off of kids heads. Great stuff! He could easily get over in the WWE with his craziness. Mad props also go out to Jack Evans and Roderick Strong who carried themselves like stars.

I already have tickets for the next even in NYC so I'll post up a review of that show as well. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. I expect much better out of NYC, especially since it'll be Joe vs. Morishima. I'm out! Peach, bitches! ^_^
I have never seen the show, but I should, because I love Zach Braff and comedy in general.
I've never seen anything else with him in it.

I actually went to the Manhattan Mayhem show back in 2005. That was way better. Sorry if I made it seem like it was my first show.

They're using that VKM / Christie Hemme shit to usher in female wrestling (UGH!), but I don't know where that will leave VKM.

lookinh at wsx again...i really enjoed seeing justin credible come out in ecw form.. with song and ecw chants..

any word on how he got to use the name? and when was this filmed?>

Wrestlemania plans so far

Source: Wrestling Observer

After discussions and negotiations throughout the week, the lineup for April's WrestleMania 23 is starting to take shape. The current plan is to go with the following 4 matches at the top of the card:

Triple Threat WWE Championship Match
John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton

World Heavyweight Title Match
The Undertaker vs. Batista

Hulk Hogan vs. Shane McMahon (w/Khali)

Shawn Michaels (w/Donald Trump) vs. King Booker (w/Vince McMahon)

There is also a good possibility we'll see another "Money in the Bank" 6-man ladder match, with the winner getting a WWE title match contract.

WWE's attempts to get the Big Show on board for a match with Hulk Hogan proved to be unsuccessful. While WWE was planning to do a "Hogan vs. a gaint" match to commemorate the 20-year anneversary of Hogan vs. Andre, there's no question that Shane McMahon will get a better match out of Hogan than Big Show or Khali could ever get.

Also, there are currently no plans for the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony to be televised on the USA Network as it's been in the past.

It's shaping up to be pretty decent although
HBK vs Booker
seems to have come out of nowhere.

That's pretty random.

So I guess UT is winning tonight's PPV?
From what they've been doing on SmackDown! lately, I was assuming that Kennedy would win the belt from Batista, via an UnderTaker run-in, fueling the underlying animosity between both the UnderTaker and Batista. From there, Kennedy is off scott-free, and a feud would erupt between 'Taker and Batista, going all the way to 'Mania. So I'm hoping the "Heavyweight Championship Match" prediction, in those spoilers, is incorrect.

I figured you'd been to one before. I'd just been dying to use that picture to describe the ROH fans. I love ROH shows, but I *hate* the fanbase. Buncha fuckin' eXtreme nachos and mountain dew eating, fat fuckin' know-it-all pigs with no sense of humor, no sense of enjoyment, and a complete disdain for any wrestling match that fails to meet the standards of Tsuruta "Jumbo" Kobayatsumete versus "Dangerous" Shojiwashi Hamanahamanakise in the finals of the 1992 NJPW "Dork-J Cup."

I like good wrestling just like those cats do, and I don't very much like "sports entertainment." I'll also bitch to my hearts' content, but what I don't do is (1) pay for and go to a show with no intention of doing anything but bitching, (2) yell out a particular wrestlers' old name at them, as if they suddenly forgot who "Gunnar Scott" or "Chad Dick" was, (3) yell out non-storyline shit (like "you got fired from being a SmackDown jobber!"), and (4) act all fuckin' high and mighty because I happen to know far more about wrestling and wrestlers than anyone healthily should know. I know it, but I'm not proud to know it.

The worst thing about going to an ROH show is being surrounded by 800 smart marks, taking in the atmosphere, and thinking "dead god, those criticisms leveled at internet marks by guys like JBL and Triple H were 100% accurate, and they couldn't have possibly been more correct if they gave us a list of the names of the people in attendance tonight."

They're also the kind of marks who respond to any chain wrestling, good or bad, with rousing applause as long as you face off at the end of it. You could do shoulder blocks and hipp tosses for three minutes (that's the stuff you learn to do on day 2, after you've mastered falling), and as long as you face off at the end, then the crowd will cheer for you. That shit really gets under my skin.

IIRC, all the "you can't use the name" went down when he was in TNA, which was 2003 (?). In any case, it was before his last ECW venture, so he apparently got it back. I dunno. I always like him using the grinspoon theme, personally, so it was nice to hear.
