I meant the Rick Steiner clip. I'm guessing it was just a botched bulldog off the ropes, eh?
The Scott Steiner "leap" was the same one that was in the clip I posted. It was Scott botching a double axe handle or whatever to Test who was outside the ring.

The Ric Steiner botched bulldog ended up with Buff Bagwell breaking his neck... I think...
And did he ask Trish to sick his duck (vowels interchanged on purpose BTW)?
i was wondering what he said there ... since i cant listen to it loudly right now, ill watch it again when i get home
Gotta love that slurred speech. And did he ask Trish to sick his duck (vowels interchanged on purpose BTW)?
I remember watching that live on Raw. He was beating up Stevie Richards and Victoria tried to come in and help him and thats when he said it.

Great vids, I'm crying right now from laughing so hard.
That's the eternal koan with regards to ECW over the past year.

EDIT: I just read that TNA is holding their April PPV in St Louis - OTM may find that of interest.
I'm still upset I had to work out in California when Bound for Glory was in my hometown, oh well. Maybe next time...
Flipping through ECW, I noticed the "Marquis" is now "Marcus." A billion-dollar organization should have such things smoothed out ahead of time, but I digress.
That IS amazing, especially when you consider how long WWE waited to debut him. The only acceptable explanation is negative feedback from the name Marquis resulted in an immediate name change.
Also, apparently Holly had a dark match so he could get whatever hometown pop he thought he would get. As for the main event dark match, MVP and Kennedy lost to 'Taker and Kane, who were lead to the ring by Paul Bearer. Yeah.

I guess he forgave Undertaker for murdering him in the oatmeal-filled crypt. How nice of him.
Assuming this moves to TV for whatever reason, perhaps Bearer has finally got back in good health. I can buy Bearer coming back, lord knows Taker has been "killed" and resurrected dozens of times over his career.

That Steiner video was hilarious - I think he'll go down as one of the best worst talkers ever. Truthfully, I look forward to them since they're so bad.

I'm disappointed that they didn't include Steiner's debut with the WWE (Post-Big Poppa Pump debut, anyway), where the attacked Matt Hardy, audibly yelled out "GIMMIE THAT fuckIN' MIC!", and then proceeded to verbally...err..."steinerize."

I was thinking the same thing.

Scott Steiner: What? You wanna suck my dick er what?

Scott Steiner: Then the Hell you in here for?

He's got the Michigan lingo down!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnwlFgvwAqA

I *completely* fell for this when it went down on Nitro years ago.
Damn. I forgot all about that.

When he talks calmly, he can cut something legitimately good... but you can tell he's one of those people who thinks faster than he talks (or yells, in his case).

That was when the Russo direction was pretty good, by the way. After that, it was a circus.

Someone enlighten me: what was the deal with pro wrestling in the late 90's and destruction of cars/monster trucks and shit like that? You have the Hummer on WCW, monster trucks smashing things galore, the Austin Beer Truck/Angle Milk Truck, McMahon's corvette being filled with concrete, and many many limos. Didn't Triple H get dropped from a crane holding a car he was in as well?

 Amazing what entertains us.

Don't forget Dennis Rodman, or someone, filling Macho Man's limo with sewage.
Hmm I've never heard of the arena the TNA PPV is going to be at, but it looks like I'll be going to it.
Its in St. Charles, MO off 70

glad that they are traveling more... hopefully you guys will get a chance to see them..

i havent been able to go lately to a ppv... my car aint exactly too reliable at this point...

That clip was so legendary that it has the distinction of being the ONLY segment I ever IMMEDIATELY uploaded to teh intarwebs for people who may have missed it.
Guyver, your icon looks less and less like Goldberg, and more and more like Rory from the Highlanders.
He's Rory!

What happened to the Highlanders anyway? Did they get moved off of Raw?
Nice, I'm going for sure.
I plan on going. My first time ever going to see wrestling live.

Could you actually hear it on television, or was the audio "mastered" to make it more audible?

Edit: Steiner yelling to the audience, "I'm the biggest son of a bitch ya ever met!"
Could you actually hear it on television, or was the audio "mastered" to make it more audible?
Definitely was audible on TV. If you're talking to someone and not paying attention you might miss it, but if you were just watching the program you could absolutely hear it. The expectant/flustered reaction by Steiner's as to why she dared to enter the ring was amazing.

I'm going to both the Edison, NJ and New York City Ring of Honor shows. I can't wait to see Joe vs. Morishima. The crowd is going to be so fucking hot! It's going to be amazing! I can't wait!

Fuk em' Joe - Fukemup!

"The Man-Tit Challenge!"

Nice; Morishima will be wrestling in Dayton as well, so that's making me think of going. I just don't have the money to blow on it this time around.
Why doesn't ROH allow cameras for their shows?
Because people would make DVDs out of them and sell them on eBay and wrestling forums.

Don't forget Austin got ran over when he went for surgery. And didn't the nWo run a semi into the Rock's car while he was in it?

They also did the car destruction thing not too long ago when DX screwed up Mcmahon's limo.

So... the new ECW dvd, disc 2 made Baby Jesus cry. Mike Knox is on a best of ECW dvd? There's just no way you can justify that. The fact that there's 2 Big Show matches and both are from TV disturbs me as well.

- Gangstas vs. Eliminators in a Natural Born Killaz cage weapons match (8/24/96).

- Tables, Ladders, Chairs & Canes: ECW World champion Steve Corino vs. The Sandman vs. Justin Credible (Guilty as Charged '01).

Disc #2:

- The Dudley Boyz vs. Tommy Dreamer & Sandman (ECW One Night Stand).

- WWE World champion Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam (WWE vs. ECW special).

There was also the thing with Shane destroying the limo with Kane in it. And didn't Triple H cut Stephanie's car in half?
