Bands you've seen in concert

- Frank Sinatra ('92)
- 311 ('03 or '04)
- "Weird Al" (2001, I think.)
i'm still kicking myself for missing the Wu-Tang / RATM tour :bomb: had the chance to go too! but I didn't like Wu-Tang at the time (I was like 14 and still thought rap sucked, like a dumbass)
I wanted to go to see them at the World Music theater then, but none of my friends wanted to. I was 14 and couldn't go alone, so I was fucked.

Damn, I've only been to one sizeable concert, which was an Ani Difranco concert in buffalo. Everything else I've been to has been in coffee shops, records stores and bars. Then again, a good amount of the singers I like (and who's cd's I have), don't have the fame for a large concert anyway.
Which shows? I've seen them a bunch of times now and they are by far the best band in the history of the world.
All pittsburgh, every time they've come since the whole ticketmaster thing, plus I saw them when they opened for the stones. The last time when I saw them, when sparta opened, i think it was in april of 03 (?) My ten club tickets rocked and I had 1st row on the side of the stage where the boards were in the civic areana, it was the greatest show of my life. Oh and you just made my damn I knew he was cool list.

That's awesome! I've seen them 6 or 7 times now - Randall's Island in 1996 was my favorite show. John Popper came out and jammed on Even Flow, it was pouring rain the entire time and I was in the pit for most of it. I was also at the MSG show in 1998 where everyone held up signs that read "Breath" at the same time because they hadn't played it in forever and (presumably) without rehearsing it at all they gave in and played it (EV messed up the lyrics, as usual).

The last show I was at was back in October at the Wachovia Center in Philly - they played for 3 hours, the set list was amazing (first encore: around the bend, harvest moon, hard to imagine, crown of thorns, crazy mary, alive) and my Ten Club seats were great so that is up there on the list too. Hopefully the new album will come out in the spring. Damn they rule.

That's where I would've seen it too (though now I refuse to go there, unless it's a band I may never see again. the acoustics really suck there.) Some friends of mine went and came back with various scrapes and bruises from the pit :D

Enlightenment tour. Circa 2002. Sparta was also an opening band. The show I attended was outdoors and Weezer had huge fireballs. I also recall it was like 100 degrees out and Rivers was going through a phase where he wore black shades and a suit. Don't know how he managed to perform so well in that heat while so overdressed.
