you know I honestly don't like the look of Gotham City in the new batman series. I like Burton's/Timm's version instead. They need to stop shooting it in downtown Chicago.

You know, I was kind of hoping we'd have gotten a shot of the joker from the same spot as Batman, except watching the city in blazes. Too fight club I guess.

The 'Why So Serious?' poster is great though.
 
Okay, let me start off by saying that I thought the first movie was highly disappointing, basically the "Phantom Menace" of Batman movies. Now, that said: that trailer looks freaking excellent.

The last one was shot in Chicago and mixed with noticable CG elements. This one looks like they shot the entire thing in a real city..bah

I do miss Burton's/Timm's vision of Gotham City.

Gotham needs to been niddy and griddy with dark areas with huge statues.

Does anyone know if this Joker will be dropped in Toxic waste or he's just plain crazy?

This joker feels forced, not natural.

Wayne got so fucking away with burning down his own house (which personally I thought it was stupid for the writers to do)

Can't wait for the bat-plane. Oh well, guess that will be in Batman 3.

Well, Wayne didn't burn down his house; Ra's al guhl did. At the end of the movie he was already starting to rebuild the mansion.

He's just crazy, which is much better IMO. I really like the realistic approach these movies are taking.

but i think in the newspaper they showed he burned his own house.

Personally I think this series uses too much modern day light... needs to be darker...batman needs to lurk in the shadows, not standing on top of a brightly lit city. This is Gotham city not Metropolis.

everyone who has posted in this thread has seen the movie already and can't wait for the next... I have no idea where I put my copy :whistle2:( Thought about getting the HD-DVD copy, but I was like is there any features worth justifying another purchase of the movie for HD-DVD??

Some parts of that prologue don't make sense.

Maybe it's just the shitty quality though, but
wouldn't they be able to tell who the Joker is right when they picked him up and he wasn't wearing a mask. Even with the mask you could see something wasn't right with the make up and green hair.
