What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

The evil within ps4 vs xbox one version? Which is better or is everything basically the same cause I'm picking it up tomorrow and trying to figure which to get and figure since alot people pre ordered it this be best place to ask

I went with PS4. XB1 is 900p 30fps and PS4 is 1080p 30fps. I don't care about that stuff but since Evil Within is survival horror(my fav game genre), I wanted the best version.

edit- ps4 is 30fps my bad

Well the reason I'm doubtful is she instantly said no, she didn't check or anything, but if in store pick up is any indication then my store still have them cause I checked and my store still has then able to order online to pick up in store

Go in with the SKU and tell them that you would like to pre-order. If it is available online then it should be in store. If all else fails pre-order online for in store pickup.

Thanks for the help, now that I am thinking about it I should be able to if I still can online,I would do it online but I want be able to use my movers coupon :(

Remember the product might be $449 (at BB) during the first week and I would do it in store, due to the fact that current prices are reflected when you pick up. Online you would have to call to get that price if Best Buy lowers the price, because right now it's $499 online.

I agree I called right away (Sunday morning) and got it right away. The guy was super cool on the phone and we talked about the game for like three minutes when the sup was giving me the adjustment. Best call to Best Buy ever, most of the time it's bad.

Right,I want to do it in store(for the movers coupon), it's just I don't know if I can preorder it, but I am definitely going to go in store in try now,I don't believe the lady I talked to over the phone is right

true cause it probably caused alot of extra work for them but at the same time if they updated the low price FAQ like they said they would of so many people wouldn't need to pm them and we could of done the adjustments on the phone

Tell them you want to pre-order an item, go in a pre-order transaction and give them the SKU, if it is available it will show what the deposit is (I think $100 minimum). Then bring your receipt on release day and pay the rest based on current price, which is for sure going to be $449 at BB. I'm not sure if a movers coupon would work becasue it didn't when they had buy a console and get a free GCU sub. Can anyone confirm that it will work or not?

I think it didn't work then cause they where separate items combined at the store, this is a item that is made together with one bar code

It worked for me when I bought the Madden bundle (with GCU and free game) on the first day of the sale. It was funny because the guy was like, You just got a better deal than I would with my employee discount.

I think it will work(at least I hope it does lol),I understand it getting shady when you start to include free stuff but this is a standard console purchase, nothing free, it's like I just went in and brought a console(which is what I am doing)

I am,I was planning on going Monday but I think I am going to bite the bullet and just go today,I feel I should be able to preorder it, it's still available online at my store for preorder, thanks for all the help bud

Put the $5 pre-order on the game to secure the $10 cert then all you need to to is locate/purchase the console during release. Cancel the $5 pre-order AFTER you have made the console purchase to fully meet the requirements.

You won`t have to put up alot of money and have all the options to simply buy the console. It shouldn`t be hard to find since COD is massively overproduced normally and it`s not during the XB1 launch window.

You really think this would work? Have you done it before? Half the reason I want to preorder the console is so I am guaranteed one

If I do manage to find one to preorder couldn't I just ask then and there if I can use the movers coupon? Just be like "I am in the process of moving(which I actually am :p lol) and I got this coupon, can I use it on this when I pick it up?"

I'll have to wait at least a few days after release to pick mine up because I have certificates that won't be cleared by the 28th. They held my Destiny bundle on release, but didn't hold my Madden Ultimate Edition on release and I almost missed out getting that on release day. We'll see what happens.

This is my pre-order strategy, I buy a $50 BB gc & do $5 in-store for up to 10 games. I goto the store & buy each game outright never bothering to get the $5 deposit attached to the purchase. Once all the games have been purchased I ask for a $50 refund then use the new gc to pre-order the next set of up to 10 games.

All of my MyBB GCU info is linked to both the pre-orders/purchases and I generally see the $10 post on the purchase receipts or outta thin air. When I need to do more pre-orders on my other accounts that`s done on a game by game basis so just $5-$15 more when needed.

If you believe the console will not be avail & find it sure pre-order it then return/rebuy using the movers coupon. I just can`t see COD not being found all week with how desperate MS is tryin to catch PS4. A extremely strong holiday will push PS4`s over 15-16 million & they may even knock on the door of 20 million sold by end of 2014.
 
Is it weird that there are no reviews of Sunset Overdrive? Or is that usually how it is with Microsoft games? Seems like if a review embargo isnt up till the day of release thats not a great sign

It is in this week's BB ad though which means stores will have at least some additional stock. I also have seen posts from various GS employees saying each store is getting several and they had little or no preorders. I suspect this actually won't be that limited and that MS will do another run of them if they happen to sell out.

I doubt Microsoft has any control when the reviews go live that decision resides with Insomniac.

Forza Horizon 2 for instance was developed by an in-house studio and the review embargo for that released nearly a full week before the game came out. On the other hand Microsoft is only publishing SSO so I imagine the decision rests with Insomniac and for whatever reason they've decided to scale it back.

It's not like Microsoft games are the only ones that have release date reviews. I know The Evil Within's reviews didn't come out until the day of release (The game ended up reviewing fine) Destiny didn't lift the review embargo until the day before release, and I believe DriveClub was the same way.

in regards to an instore preorder of CoD, is this total right? I wont be able to pick up the game so I want to be sure my friend is getting it for me at the correct price..

So I preordered COD AW for XB1 in store today. When I go to pick it up and pay. Does everything work automatically. My GCU, the coupon and the $10 gift certificate along with the $5 deposit. My main concern is the $10 gift certificate as I heard they "refund your $5" or they either automatically remove the $5 from the total. Just confused and concerned about the $10gift certificate and all. Thanks!

You'll be fine, just make sure you give them the coupon early. I was trying to give it to the guy during the Madden trade, and he wouldn't take it from me until the end. What ended up happening is that the coupon isn't considered a form of payment, so the register was already in "tender mode," as he called it, and he had to cancel the transaction, then re-do it.
