The last time they had this sale, I picked up The Departed and both Kill Bill's for $5 each after buying 3 of the Game Of Thrones preview dvd's from BB for $0.01 each. As long as it has a UPC, original case and DVD - they should accept it. Remember, one of the purposes of this is to promote going green by recycling.

BTW, last time the only prices that changed prior to the sale beginning were the ones listed as "On Sale" the day before it started last time.

Here's a list of movies that are $9.99 on the site, making them $4.99 AC (Assuming they don't change the prices overnight).

9
Alien vs. Predator
Alien vs. Predator: Requiem
Army of Darkness
Black Sheep
Dracula 2000
Evil Dead
The Incredible Hulk
The Last Samurai
Saturday Night Fever (Best Buy Exclusive)
I'll probably end up picking up at least 5 movies off the above list.
A couple would actually be upgrades to blu for me (Dracula 2000 and Last Samurai) and the others are movies I've been interested in picking up at a low price.

I've got a list of about 35 movies I want to grab, but I'll probably only let myself grab 7-10 of them over the next couple of weeks.

Just keep in mind that you're limited to five per trip.. it's usually five per day though

I got Justified S1 for the same price during the previous upgrade & save deal, and I liked it, so I may as well get S2. Too bad Archer on Blu isn't on the cheap list...yet.

Hey what was that $3 coupon on those anniversary editions that could be used last time? Can't seem to find that again.
Hey what was that $3 coupon on those anniversary editions that could be used last time? Can't seem to find that again.
Google "universal $3 coupon", and you will see it. Since it's a mfr coupon, it should stack.

Aww, I didn't know that. Maybe I'll trim my list down to five since I don't really need all these movies.

i used 4 different emails and did not get one coupon from their spin "game" . screw universal!

Alrighty, first BB run done. Grabbed Batman Begins, Collateral, Gladiator, Public Enemies and Saving Private Ryan.

Planning on getting Black Hawk Down, Terminator, 300, The Ten Commandments and The Thing. Probably have a few more trips as well. This is definitely the best of the sales that BB does.

Run 1 done. I will be back on Saturday lol.

Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
The Social Network
Black Hawk Down
The Crow

I managed to pick up Conan the Barbarian (original not remake), Conan the Destroyer, Demolition Man, and Cool Hand Luke. They also had the combo Blu of Forgetting Sarah Marshall for only $4 so I grabbed that!
i used 4 different emails and did not get one coupon from their spin "game" . screw universal!
Yeah, I tried too. I saw Blues Bros. 100 Anniversary on sale at BB for $7.99 ($4.99 AC!!), but could not win either. I did pick up The Hangover II blu/dvd/dc combo pack for $5 though after Upgrade-And-Save. Need to make another trip and pick up Batman Begins. I also see they have Forgetting Sarah Marshall combo for $4.99 regular price.
I ended up getting:

Justified Season 2 / $14.99
To Catch a Thief / $9.99
Leon: The Professional / $4.99
Spartacus / $4.99
Psycho / $4.99
Looks like I'm heading back to my store later this week to pick up Psycho. I didn't even think to look for it, or that it would be that cheap. That's a must-have for me for sure.

Traded in 3 "DVD"s today, two of which were actually HD-DVDs (not combo discs). I just traded them in blank DVD cases and the girl at the CS counter didn't even look inside to see what they were. I picked up Justified S2 for $14.99 and kept the other two coupons for future sales.
So can it be any DVD? as long as it is original case and cover art?
As long as it's not porn, anything goes.

Grabbed Thor and Captain America (3D versions) along with Young Adult. My buddy is all pumped for Avengers so I figured I might as well check them out, and Young Adult was the best movie I saw last year.

Still have two coupons to pick up some other stuff (like Beverly Hills Cop).

Yeah, I recommend looking in every part of the dvd and blu-ray area. They had a upgrade and save section set up right when you walk in the media section and that was pretty picked over but they also had blu-rays in probably ten different areas besides the actual blu-ray section. They had another upgrade and save section over by dvds and that's where I found most of the stuff I got.

Grabbed:
Total recall $5
The thing $5
Serenity $5

Ip man $10
13 assassins $10
Heavy metal $10

I ran into one little hiccup, the coupons didn't work on Ip man or 13 assassins. But the manager was standing around customer service so he took the $10 off.

so far
Boondock Saints $5
Conan the Barbarian $5
Coolhand Luke $5
Hangover 2 $5(Hate me all you want. I kind of liked it)
Forrest Gump (saphire) $5

I got lucky with Forrest gump. They had a 9.99 tag on the shelf to she did an over-ride for me.

I'll probably trade in more tomorrow for some more expensive titles.
Like Hugo and Justified season 2 (if I'm lucky enough to find any in stock).

So happy to see my useless DVDs are still of some use.

Nabbed:
Supernatural Season One - $13.99
Supernatural Season Two - $13.99

Had $15 Reward Zone, so in total with tax. The two seasons cost: $13.92!

Can someone post a link to the threa on the BluRay forum website discussing this deal? They always have a good list of what's in the deal :)
thanks again OP. grabbed:

Pulp Fiction (still haven't seen this in my lifetime)
You are in for a reat

Pulp Fiction was labeled $19.99 at my store. Is it possible it would scan at $9.99? I was thinking I would have to price match the online website, but then I would be double dipping using the coupon.

Yeah it is possible. Mission Impossible 3 was labeled at $14.99 and it rung up for me at $9.99(same price as website) automatically.

End up Picked up Thor 3D $19.99, Iron Man 2 Combo Pack $9.99 and Supernatural Anime Set $13.99 after $5 off coupon. I'll be back tomorrow picked up all Supernatural Season 1/2/3/4/5 :)

OP, I think you need to modify the entry for Gran Torino--in the ad, it says the Blu-ray is BR+Digital Copy, not BR+DVD+Digital Copy.

I traded in two DVDs for a receipt with two "Upgrade & Save" listings, and now I'll wait for any BR+DVD sets I don't have yet to go on sale...

I grabbed American Beauty, Adventureland, Goodfellas, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Source code for $35 out the door.

I was most surprised at Source Code. It was the BR/DVD combo and labeled $10.99 so I got it for $5.99. On the website the DVD is $10.99 and the blu-ray is $24.99. Not sure if I got lucky with a price mistake or what.

That is the price that I saw today at BBY for Source Code, it was clearly marked so there is no price mistake.

Looks like they are not taking HD DVDs anymore since I got denied for 2 that I brought in. Anyway, picked up Crazy Stupid Love, Batman Begins, Blindeside, and the double pack with the Fifth Element and Gattaca

Well I meant a price mistake in the whole company's system (wouldn't shock me if it wasn't linked to their online prices).

I suppose a more likely scenario would be they are clearancing out the BR/DVD combo and the BR by itself is the higher price.

hey Forgetting Sarah Marshall blu-ray is on ale for 4.99 with free 10.00 fandango movie cash. I'm new to Upgrade and Save.

I have a sealed DVD copy of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Can I trade in the dvd copy for the 5.00 coupon and buy the blu-ray with it?

You can trade in your DVD but you can't use it on that particular Blu-ray. The Blu-ray has to be $9.99 or higher to qualify according to BB.

Glad I went the first day as several things they were down to only 1 copy left: 1 run around lunch time, 1 near closing. As first I didn't find the supernatural's, but they were in a display up near the register. Supernatural: Anime series was also on sale, but they were out.

$14
Supernatural S1-6
Nikita S1

$5
Psycho
Moon
Memento

Had a great haul yesterday!

Alien vs. Predator (I'm a sucker, don't judge me)
Batman Begins
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Superbad
Forgetting Sarah Marshall

YMMV... I traded in three today with no problems...

My haul so far

Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
Scream Collection
Edge - You Think You Know Me

Will probably go back before the promo ends and pick up more stuff.
