Forget that price! Glyde.com has used copies cheaper as well as super low prices on Pillotwings and Nintendogs. eBay has WAY lower prices on Steel Diver brand spanking new! Lots of sellers! I'm going to go buy a copy for $6.99 now!

Lowest price is 9.99 for "brand spanking new." You must have gotten the last 6.99 copy.

I'm one of those who still haven't opened their $5 copy of this game. Nintendo should have shrunk this game down and made it the face of the eShop launch. This game seems much more suited to have on your home screen to play in shorts spurts rather than find the cartridge to get your sub fix.
interesting. I've never seen the countdown thing before.
Yea, credit goes to someone who posted that link earlier. At least it will let me sleep instead of staying up refreshing lol.
I don't think so, the DOTD doesn't update for almost 5 more hours: http://deals.bestbuy.com/dealoftheday/20120530

I'm not sure when the "Special Deals" update though (which is what Steel Diver was categorized under). Steel Diver is no longer listed there: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Electro...cmcat257000050031&ref=39&CJPID=1312731&loc=01
Steel Diver showed up around 11 PM PDT last night. The Darkness 2 was around 10:30 I think. Not sure where the 5 hours come into place

Did they change the countdown length for tonight or something?

No, I noticed that countdown thing a few days ago. It is definitely out of sync with the actual ending/changing of the DoTD's.

That's the thing though. Steel Diver is, well was, in the "Video Games Specials" link, not the DOTD link. If you click on the DOTD link, you will see it was never even listed there.

$79.99 is the sale price right? It won't drop lower after midnight? (I remember The Darkness II price not going live until like 15 minutes after midnight, CST).
10:45! :D refurbished kinect 79.99
Ughhh...damn...that's just...sad.

Oh well. Maybe tomorrow something else will pop up along with this???

Meh, whatever, if this is it then I wait for next time.
Boring
perhaps but its not a bad deal their website says it comes with the game too. so if you are in the mind for a kinect probably a pretty sweet deal

I have had more fun with this overpriced failed paperweight than all those army games that are so popular today. To each his own, dude.

Not saying that Kinect isn't fun, I'm saying that Microsfoft and Sony's attempt at Motion gaming failed to meet expectations and development and the market is dwindling. Perhaps Kinect and Move were just Beta tests for what's to come on the next gen consoles.

Off Topic: If the Nintendo 64's 4mb expansion pack, Sega's CD and 32x, Playstation's Dual Shock Controller, Playstation 2's hard drive, Xbox 360's hard drive and Kinect, and Playstation 3's Move has taught us anything, it's that non included hardware will never have a 100% or even 50% market penetration rate.

These next consoles need to have hard drives (preferably SSD) and motion controls built in, otherwise we'll be where we're at now with unenthusiastic reception by core gamers. I know Microsoft opted to forego included hard drives to save costs, but this decision has come to bite them in the ass with XBLA content, DLC, and even decreased loading times from full game installations all requiring massive storage space.

this is so true. heck look at the lack of HDD space killed the wii's chance at any online gaming.

though i would disagree i would think but i may be wrong that most 360 gamers have a HDD for the system.

still the kinect can be fun don't get me wrong. it just isn't near as cool as it could of been sort of like the wii mote and the failed motion plus add on that has done nothing really. if the wiiu uses the wii mote for anything all games need to mandatory require the motion plus add on.

The only reason I don't get use out of my Kinect right now is due to the size limitations of my room. I recently had to move gaming equipment from the basement to my room. Wasn't receiving enough power so my stuff would randomly shut off. Anyways, a SSD would be a nice option, but it would raise the price of each system like crazy. I think a 750GB-1TB drive would suit the systems nicely. I currently have a 750GB HDD in my PS3, and I have a ton of space to use. I probably have close to 500GB or so. If I could, I would install all of my games so the system could run cooler just like the Xbox 360 does. There's a number of rumors that companies want to go download only for the future system, but I still prefer having a physical copy of game. I can either trade it in down the line, or I can always keep it in case I switch consoles or whatever. That's important to my PC games as well. I don't want to sit around download 100GBs or so because I don't have the physical disc to install my games. Most of the users who own a PS3/Xbox 360 don't have high speed internet so they wouldn't be able to enjoy the new games at all. I highly doubt that's going to happen though. That's just my two cents.
I think that Logitech mouse for $11 is the better deal of the day.
The price is great and the mouse itself is pretty great too. It doesn't track as smoothly on non-standard surfaces as the listing implies but its as good as can be expected and works great.

NOOOOOoooooooo! Ah well, at least I tried.

Not bad. Newegg had it for $279.99 a few months back but you also had the ability to get a 1 year gold membership for $15 when you bought the console.
is udraw even good? and if so which system is it best on?
No idea, I don't have one. I almost bought it when Gamestop had it on sale (I think for $30?) but waited. Debating if I should get it now.
is udraw even good? and if so which system is it best on?
If anything I'd go with Wii because BB has more uDraw game selections on Wii as oppose to 360/PS3.

It's not a Best Buy thing, the game selection for 360/PS3 is all the uDraw games for those systems.

Also note that there is no online multiplayer for Pictionary, a dealbreaker for me even though I love pen and paper Pictionary.

Wow... that MP3 GC didn't last long at all!

I picked up the tablet, pictionary, and the marvel game all on PS3.

$35.90 in store pick up. I don't think I did that bad on this considering I used GCs to pay for this order.

Thanks again BB!

I was talking sale wise? It's what I see listed.

PS3/360 only has Pictionary and Marvel Superhero Squad
Wii has those two AND six other titles (ranging from 4.99-9.99)

Edit: Oh I get what your saying, none the less it still backs up what I said. Wii has a better game selection -shrugs-
