Actually guys, there was an error on our spreadsheet. Today the Galaxy SII on Sprint Only is FREE, the $100 off the SIII is tomorrow.
S3 should be hitting 50 or free range by BF since the note is out right?

Anything from best buy regarding the S3?

nothing like that yet. All I know is the Galaxy s3 will be $100 tomorrow. and also the sale is only for AT&T and Verizon, Sprint will still be $199.99.

Ahh... well do keep us updated, not sure where to really check for price drops and the like for phones, if you know of a place do let me know. Appreciate the help you provided though. Probably a few people out there looking for the best S3 deal.

Btw, s3 has been 99 on amazon for a few days now. The att one anyway.

Definitely don't mind keeping ya'll updated on phones too, but maybe we should make a separate thread for that, so we can keep this one on gaming?

Not sure if there is a phone thread on these forums or not.

I usually check the "Other Deals" forum from time to time, but it's deserted more or less.

Some people use their phones to game, I don't think people would flip out if you mentioned it here? That's my rationale and sticking to it, lol...
Is Kane and Lynch 2 even worth $4?
Not really. I got it for super cheap way back when and couldn't get through more than 15 minutes of it. Didn't like the shooting mechanics, the story, or the gameplay. I'd pass unless you can flip it somewhere that essentially makes it a free rental after you're done (or fed up) with it...
Is Kane and Lynch 2 even worth $4?
Depends on 2 things I'd say. Do you have a fair amount of gaming time?, and also do you have someone to coop it with? If you answered yes to both I'd say its worth the $4 I didnt hate K&L 1 or 2, but I played through both of them with my buddy coop. I will say that 2 is basically an all out action/shootfest from start to finish and I thought was actually quite enjoyable.

Agreed, this series and army of two I've never played solo, only co-op. We have allot of fun with them. It's $4, i enjoyed it way more than my $4 speedway breakfast this morning

If you have someone to coop with then it's worth the 4 and multiplayer wasn't that great.

First - I know you've been doing this for awhile but I just want to join along with everyone and thank VyseArcad1a and everyone else who finds deals for the updates. I'm definitely in for the phone updates if you are willing to do it as my contract is coming up and I'm about to be shopping for a new phone.

Now, my question is if anyone thinks the Just Dance: Disney is worth the $20? I was hoping for a more classic Disney song list, but a lot of the songs seem to be from the Disney Channel. Yet, since my son has been on a Dinsey kick lately, I don't know if I should bite now or wait until a better price drop.

EDIT: Just checked out the Kane and Lynch 2 and EA Sports MMA and it is showing that the price is valid only at the Tropicaire, FL location and can only be picked up from that store. So should I just assume the obvious that I won't be able to price match at my location? I know Best Buy has some flexible rules if you get a manager to override stuff.

No prob!

Just Dance Disney seems to be a bit like DDR: Disney Channel was on PS2. Unless your son loves Hannah Montana and the like, I wouldn't. If he's a big fan of Disney songs from the movies (like Aladdin or the Jungle Book, etc.) you may want to track down a copy of Disney Sing It: Family Hits instead. Just make sure it's the "Family Hits" one, otherwise you'll be stuck with more Miley Cyrus.

Awesome thanks! Game looks perfect, too bad they don't have it for the 360. But I'll look for the Wii version and spare myself having another kids game on my gamercard.

Regards,

Not a bad deal but the fact it is the "old" remote kills it for me. I have to PS3's (living room and bed room) but the fact that you can't turn on/off the TV or control the volume (it is also missing other features) on the old remote makes it not attractive to me.

But even the old remote is better the using the DS3 when it comes to DVD/Blu-ray playback

I have been buying more blu-rays lately and I only have my PS3 to play them on so that remote control will come in handy, I'm tired of using the DS3 as a remote it is just not suited for it. This deal will be online only right?

They may have them in-store (I've seen a few) but you're better of buying online as it may sell out.

Don't get me wrong it is a very good remote but there is a reason why they made a newer version.

I do not like how the PS button is so sensitive and will turn your PS3 on at the slightest touch. Other problems are that it doesn't have a "off" button for your PS3 so if you accidentally turn it on you'll have to most likely turn your tv on and then power it off through the media bar or get up and hold down the power button on the actual PS3.

The newer model also doesn't have an off button for the PS3 but it allows you to control your TV, and AMP (surround sound).

The PS button is also sensitive on the new one. Even if the "DEVICES" switch is NOT on PS3 and you hit the PS3 button it will still turn on the PS3. There was some other thing I didn't like about the new one, but can't remember at this very moment.

BTW, DS3s are on sale for $39.99.
I am actually more interested in the charger. $15 is pretty cheap for a stand alone charger.
I was thinking the same thing. I already have both remotes. Too bad no (easy) resale value in the remote.

For the longest time I couldn't figure out why my ps3 was always on. Ends up my storing the ps3 remote in my desk drawer with a bunch of other office items turned it on everytime I reached for a pen, stapler, scissors, etc., probably everytime I pulled out that drawerorganizer. lol

I bit. That charger goes for $25-30 on its own most of the time. The remote can be a back-up if the other one breaks or if someone in my family buys a PS3.

Maybe your PS3 is just calling home to skynet.

I did think for a second that it was that option ps3's had a while back to volunteer computational power to networked research projects while not in use for gaming....Then again, I also thought it was my 1 year old :) cause she had an obsession with the power button on my 360. I guess she got a kick out ouf the sound and lights she by chance figured out how to control lol.

There needs to be a setting in the XMB that allows you to disable turning on the PS3 with remotes/controllers. Turn on only by pressing the main power button on the unit and/or a sequence of buttons on remotes/controllers.

I want the Blu-ray remote, but I'm gonna have to pass considering I already have a Rocketfish brand charging station that works perfectly.
