If they are the same length as the regular wired controllers, it's about 9-10 feet long. Also, during the height of the Guitar Hero II craze, Madcatz sold 9-10 foot extension cables. I bought a pair of them to go with the wired guitars.

My concern with the wire is that my dog (only about 7 months old) likes to run around sometimes when he gets excited and I don't want him tripping over the wire and taking out my 360.

All of the wired controllers (and the extension cables too) connect to the 360 via a 6-8 inch breakaway cable. Theoretically, the breakaway cable should disconnect before there is enough force to pull a 360 off a shelf, but the connection is strong enough that it wont disconnect from slight movement. So YMMV.

It's Army of Two (with four people) in the Resident Evil universe.. if you liked the gameplay of Army of Two, you're golden. Just don't go in expecting Resident Evil gameplay.

Now I know they only had a few copies of SH earlier in the week (more then 1 though) but they had a dozen or so of RE: ORC and no way 10 were sold at $59.99 which leads me to believe one of the small game store owners picked up half a dozen or so with the intent of PM'ing tomorrow.

I really wish prior purchases could not be PM'd for DOTD sales.

It is Cheapy D's fault. He promised a few years ago that he would make at least some of the forums private. He likes page views by lurking sders and scammy referrer links more than his users though. What we really need is an actual forum that cares about the community and is truly members only.

The sick thing was the list was hidden deep in the DOTD posting. No one created a seperate listing on CAG for the individual DOTD' (which is a good thing) but a CAG did port the deal directly to SD and then credit CAG which not only screws us over but it screws the site out of any referral kickbacks from those that purchase through SD.

But whatever.. the only way to prevent this is for Best Buy to not allow retroactive PM's on DOTD purchases. The price should only be good on purchases made that day. Period.

Don't worry about it. It's good information and not your fault. the initial posting got buried and there are many CAGS even until today that didn't know about. The problem was it got posted on other deal sites---and now that people know BB employees have access to DOTD lists weeks in advance it's going to make it really tought to get them. Certainly not your fault.

yep, this upcoming dotd is already posted on slickdeals forum, so if you store has low stock of the game, and you want it. you better off buying it now, and pm it on the day of the sales than waiting

Yeah, there's nothing you (or anyone) can do about it.

I actually think it deserves it's own post, because a ton of CAGs are going to miss this because they didn't dig deep into this thread. So you kind of have to decide is it worth depriving a lot of CAGs the knowledge of this deal just to try and keep it from SD or elsewhere.

Thank you so much for the info! I'm going to take a look around to see if I can find any extensions just in case, but if I can get one or two of these controllers I will be set, especially with extensions. I keep my profile on a USB drive, but I think the 360 (have the Halo Reach slim edition) has another USB drive in the back so I can plug it in there while the controllers are in the front.

My pup is small (only about 14 pounds...for now. Don't expect him to ever top his dad's weight, who was a Cocker Spaniel, which was 25 though since he's basically between 50-75% full size now anyway), but sometimes he goes so quick and with so much force that I'm a little afraid. With the PS3 I have bought a really long extension cable so that always stays on the floor and he hasn't tripped over it yet, plus it's the MGS4 PS3 fat and is a pretty sturdy console, but I was just concerned.

Thanks again for all of the help! I should finally be able to watch HBO Go and Netflix without any concern now too!

Nope I just have spent a lot of time following video game prices and just because a lot of people didn't enjoy this game (and a lot of the bad reviews weren't just based on bad gameplay) doesn't mean the price is going to drop like a rock.

Capcom is not Ubisoft. They don't abandon ship because a game doesn't sell well.
