Yes, these seem to get mediocre reviews in most places (around 2.5-3/5 stars), but $10 for an extra controller to have around for friends isn't too bad at all.

At $10, I don't really care. The Tron wired controller is my favorite controller, this looks kind of similar. $10 for a 360 controller is a steal.

True, true. I guess I've had some lucky run ins at the pawn shops-- I've picked up like new 1st party wired and wireless controllers for 10.00 a piece.

I did decide to grab it since I had a reward zone cert. 5.38 shipped. XD

I think most of the poor reviews are basing the controller at a $50 MSRP and the advertised featured (extra button mapping).

Some of the complaints include a shitty DPad, but I'll be mainly using the analog sticks for PC gaming anyways.

Strictly as a controller I think it'll be good.

Shitty DPad is nothing new for the 360. which is really a shame. Whats the best Dpad on the 360? I liked the silver official but those break way too easy.

No store within a 100 mile radius of me shows stock of either controllers; now, a handful of those may have 1-2 on hand, so they don't show on the locator, but not worth taking the risk. Well, the way BB is sometimes (the dreaded backorder!), and with the glut of orders they have, ordering online can be a risk as well, but at least I don't have to waste gas!

dont know. but my joysticks get a little off centered sometimes and well hands are sometimes greesy or someone else is using the controller and has dirty sweaty hands. its quite easy to somewhat damage a controller.

i try not too but i admit its happened.

I've only had one go bad and it was a Sixaxis that couldn't center the left stick. Other than that, I like to have a fresh controllers every few years. At this rate, I'm good until PS5.
