yeah buying a game just to play it and then trade it in is so dumb.
that isnt even cheap that is a free rental.
you should be on broke ass gamer not cheap ass gamer.
(sarcasm)
but yeah i have it on ps3. if anyone wants to play through with me, iv already gone through once but need to get mp trophies and some grinds of replaying the levels/final level. peace
If your refferring to what i said then you must be mistaken but buying a game to play and then trade is fine Lol.

I bought 2 and traded one in. I need to build up credit again after buying a Diablo 3 CE they got in via truck the other day. I had another trade to do anyway, so it drops the cost of the copy I am keeping by a few bucks. (I also have it locked in at amazon in case the game isn't worth keeping.)

it wouldn't be so bad to trade it in after you played, apparently some folks couldn't believe that this game was that bad so i guess now would be a good time to try it out since it trades for $12 back to bb before bonus and $20 to amazon, this game only takes a day to beat and less than an hours to get sick of the MP but u should probably download the DLC beforehand since i heard that was better than the whole game

About to fire up this turd on my Xbox for the first time. Anyone who wants to play I'll be on in 10 min to start from the beginning of the game so just message me on live if you'd like to join

GT: StudentofTruth

I wasn't going to bite but I noticed I had enough points for a $5 reward certificate and for some reason when I went to apply it, it counted it twice, so I got $10 off. So looking at it as 12.99 and only $8 out of pocket I think I got a good deal.

Thanks OP, in for RE: Operation Raccoon City. I know it's not great, but Resident Evil is my fav. I've heard coop isn't half bad.

It's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, not to mention the zombie killing is top notch stuff (graphically and as far as the physics go). The story is too short and the overall gameplay feels a little dated, but it's a solid shooter. Just don't come into it expecting typical RE gameplay; it's a spinoff, not a true RE game.

Multiplayer is good fun too; you've got ADD or you're way too damn picky if it takes you "less than an hours to get sick of the MP". Perhaps you spend more than "an hours" looking over your English schoolbooks again.

In the end, it will probably be cheaper within a couple months. Still, this is a great price. If you wanna play it, pick it up. Not that big of a deal to pay an extra $8 on something you want to play.
Screw that.
The DLC looks to be a massive ripoff.
Not so much...well, other than the fact that the disc campaign is so short and the second campaign really should have been included on-disc. But with the DLC, you get a $20 7-mission campaign that's about the same length and arguably better than the on-disc campaign. Plus...err...4 extra multiplayer maps I think. It sucks in that it should have been included to begin with and not be another $20. But as far as modern DLC goes, it's decent content-wise.

Heard a rumor from someone that the DLC expired after a month (sounds silly, but...). I ordered one but won't pick it up until later in the week. Can anyone confirm the DLC expiration date?
Since everyone shat on RE, anyone have an opinion on Silent Hill Downpour? I'll most likely pick that up instead.
i heard there were some glitches and bugs in that game, LOL
i heard there were some glitches and bugs in that game, LOL
I read that there was lag in that game, but hopefully I don't see the same amount of vitriol on Tuesday.
Heard a rumor from someone that the DLC expired after a month (sounds silly, but...). I ordered one but won't pick it up until later in the week. Can anyone confirm the DLC expiration date?
No expiration date listed.

Picked up two copies for $39 and flipped them for $50. Kept the DLC so that I could get a used copy for dirt-cheap in the future and still have the DLC. Good deal, BB.

So I traded in a copy of EA Sports Active 2 and got 14 dollars in store credit, used that to buy this game and only paid a few bucks :) Good deal :p
Since everyone shat on RE, anyone have an opinion on Silent Hill Downpour? I'll most likely pick that up instead.
Silent Hill is the better of the 2 games between ORC and Downpour. Sure Downpour has/had some problems but it was still quite good.

I did not beat SH however but what I did play I enjoyed and did not regret the $45 I spent on the game.
Picked up two copies for $39 and flipped them for $50. Kept the DLC so that I could get a used copy for dirt-cheap in the future and still have the DLC. Good deal, BB.
Nobody cares.

RE: ORC was the last full-priced game I'll buy on impulse ever. I bought it on release from Amazon and sold it less than a week later. I went against my principles of buying games on release fully well knowing they drop in like two weeks.

I do want Silent Hill and this is a great time to buy it. $20 seems to be a steal. I wish I did the same and waited to get RE when it was this cheap.

Wooo, what you gonna do with that $11?
Being a flipper, im kind of glad the 100% extra trade in credit is only for a month because now i think its really ridicoulous that people are buying so many copys for a 3$ profit each.
Technically it's about $5-6 a copy if you flip them right back and don't live in a greedy tax hungry state/municipality that adds in their own tax rate on top of a state sales tax. But yeah, it's definitely NOT worth it.
I'm not too picky about games, and I just beat Starhawk.
I was about to ask how one 'beats' a mp only online shooting game, but I just Googled it and apparently they added a single player portion to Starhawk, which was originally gonna be in Warhawk supposedly. Interesting.

How long was the single player campaign in Starhawk?
You are such a troll, I think we all get that you don't like flipping.
 I have no comment, but as they say the squeakiest wheel gets the grease, eh?
I thought flippers don't take the cost of gas into their equations.
I always did. That's why I never bothered with the $1-4 "profit" flips when I was flipping unless it was straight credit to straight credit. As soon as cash entered the picture though, I had to be at least tripling my money.
For SH: Downpour is the glitches more prominent on PS3 or 360?
Or evenly among both consoles?

I'm planning ahead =)
Get it on 360 since my friend said that the PS3 version was worse than the 360 version.
Way to help build a strong CAG community :applause:

Anyhoo...I caved in and got ORC after watching the Classic Game Room review, which usually looks more at how fun a game is versus technical issues like bugs or glitches.

If you wanna check out the vid ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swjhnvbs7U0
I love CGR reviews and that guy's sarcasm; still, the gameplay doesn't seem to warrant $20 for single player only which is how I usually play. I'll redbox it with my free code.
For SH: Downpour is the glitches more prominent on PS3 or 360?
Or evenly among both consoles?

I'm planning ahead =)
neither, lol i heard xbox 360 had some frame rate issue , with screen tearing
Yes. People were expecting it to be like other RE games even though it was clear before launch that's not what it was. For an action 3rd person shooter with co-op, you can't go wrong. My only complaint was the AI being really dumb, but since you can play with 3 friends, problem solved.
It's still really bad as a standard third person shooter. Even Army of Two the 40th day was better.

ill probably just go for the silent hill... I was dumb enough to buy the RE ORC special edition when it first came out.. sadly im still stuck with it.

you could always trade the disc copy in

Gonna get the PS3 CODBO controller tonight...hopefully it will have free shipping

Any reason why I should not get it? It got mixed reviews...

It's $10 and it beats beating up the official Dual Shock 3's if you're having a particularly intense gaming session. Although that's a reason to get the controller as opposed to NOT get it.

If worse comes to worse and it doesn't perform like you expected you have 30 days(60 if Reward Zone Silver) to return it.

People wouldn't give two shits about flipping if people just didn't wave their dicks about it. But, keep dividing the community to let everyone know about your few dollar windfall you're so proud of.

im having trouble deciding, could someone tell me which one they would pick from these 3:

* 6/12 (Tue): Silent Hill Downpour $19.99
* 6/13 (Wed): Batman: Arkham City $19.99
* 6/14 (Thu): Tritton AX120 $19.99 (Xbox 360 ONLY, SKU 3641126)

Flipping for a couple bucks is for dip shits with no real job and salary. Get a good paying job and forget about flipping and just worry about getting good deals.

I would say Arkham City, that game was amazing!

So the bragging posts are a huge problem because "Why do you have to post about it FUUUU", but the posts from people sobbing about the bragging doesn't shit up the thread at all? I mean, the crying about bragging posts outnumber the bragging posts 3 to 1...

This site is so full of fucking whiners, jesus christ. And yes, I just added one, suck a dick.

Guess they'll be tidying up this thread shortly.

But lol I don't even know why you guys waste time talking about these flippers, if they think netting $10 for the time/gas investment they make then cool. They can enjoy it while it last cause the inevitable bans that will occur sooner or later. :p

Silent HIll Downpour.

BAC won't be the GOTY edition and reading reviews on amazon about the headset, it sounds terrible. And I'm in the market for a headset too.
