Whew glad I jumped on and got 4 this morning, my sub was expiring in February also, awesome deal!!!

Wow, I order 4 like 20 minutes ago. Glad I decided to jump on this deal. Hopefully all orders are honored.
And best of luck to all of those that weren't able to get in on this, hopefully it comes back as some point (don't know if Best Buy has ever resupplied a DOTD before).
Glad I got one earlier. Now I can get some Retro City Rampage
It's not worth it.

I was flip flopping on this because I just bought the $35 year card on Newegg during BF that secures my Live status unbtil Feb 2014. However, I figured this was a good deal, and will extend me until I graduate college, which is good, so I grabbed one. Good thing I did too, looks like I got in there with only minutes to spare. Received the order ready for pick up email already. Just awaiting my digital points code email. Thanks for the heads-up OP!

I ordered 2 for in store pickup and 2 for shipping. I have received 2/4 of the 800 MSP codes. I assume I will get the other 2 emailed to me after I pick up the cards at the store.
It doesn't look like I'll be able to use my $20 reward certificate in store for this deal.

Can I find these deals at my local Best Buy store? No, the Deal of the Day specials are available only online (unless otherwise noted).

Try anyway just in case:

Last time they had an offer like this with the MSP, they didn't know what to do in-store. They said I'd get them e-mailed to me, then when I never did, the Rewards people and Best Buy people had no idea what I was talking about, even when I directed them to the offer on the site, which was still live. They ended up giving me twice as much in rewards certificates, but I'd just be careful and maybe try to get the points card in-store at the time of purchase.
It's back in-stock, but without the points. No deal now. :/
Once in your card the free points still show up in a little bubble

EDIT: Your edit beat my post :( lol

Just got and redeemed both of my msp codes via email...what, apart from non-douchbagary, stops someone from simply canceling their order at this point?

Most likely the refund will come back minus the value of 800pts. In other words, $2.99 plus tax. That's how most stores do the return of items with freebies.
Also, how are you people ordering more that one? It won't let me add more than one to my cart.
Multiple orders :bouncy:

Sweet just grab two of them. Glad they came back in stock. Had a rewards cert to knock 5 bucks off of one to make it sweeter.

Thanks op, just ordered 1 in nick of time. I was going to order more but it was sold out before I even got to check out the one I had in my cart so hopefully me having in my cart and it allowing me to checkout will let the deal go through for me.

Couldn't resist and went back for 2 more cards. Not really even that great of a deal when you do the math though, but I can almost never resist deals when MSP is involved.

It's essentially $30 for a year of live (how much I always pay) plus $21.96 for 2400 MSP. Although it is a solid deal if you look at it from a $35/year standpoint since $30 annual subs are really rare anymore. $16.96 for 2400 is pretty darn great.

sweeeeeet my Live doesnt expire until july but free points!! i used a reward zone points so my first grab was only $8 going for another one.

ok sick deal in my opinion $70 worth of live and points for $21 i paid cant complain. im not buying like 10 though im good with just 2

Before it was allowing oredring several cards at once, now you have to do multiple orders.

For the Amex/Halo/Xbox sync promotion, I just have to spend a TOTAL of $100 at Best Buy and not purchase $100 all at once, right? If that's the case I'm gonna load up on a bunch of these!

Do the points get fast emailed? Every time I get a deal with points I never get the points. Right now my points from a reward zone program where u buy one year and get 800 is still being looked at.

Oh man, tempting...but I barely play my 360 anymore, and the 800msp interests me more than anything. May as well just pay the $10 for those instead.
Not for in-store pickup. I ordered a few and just got the 'ready for pickup' emails.
Ditto. All 4 of my pickups are now ready. Will have to stop by on my way home from work.

My name is Vila and I have an addiction. I am already set on XBL for 2 years and I still have 9600 MSP to spend yet I still bought more.

I kind of hope my orders get canceled now. I have already received the MS Points codes. I'm not sure they can take those back.

Of course, I guess it won't be canceled since they sent the codes.

It does make me wonder if someone could take advantage of the system by canceling their order after the points codes are sent. The points aren't listed on the website listing and don't seem to have a value on the receipt, so it almost seems like they would not charge you for them if the codes were already sent. I don't advocate this from a moral and ethical standpoint, but it seems like people would attempt it.

Well shit. Was going to grab points soon anyway but now 1 year and 3200 points for $52 is a hellva deal
Not a bad deal, but I have paid $30 the last 2 years for XBL.
Me too but if you were going to get the points soon anyway this makes sense. $12 for a year of Live.

If you were not going to get the points then yea not a great deal.

It's been said that they will deduct the price of the points from your refund but I don't know if this is true.
Very good deal. I just don't need MSP or XBL Gold time at the moment.
I don't either but I know that eventually I would need to purchase more MSP so I figured to stock up now and extend my Live membership on the cheap.

That's correct. Best Buy may be in bad shape but they're not quite to the point of letting people fuck them over quite THAT easily.
