I was planning on buying a 4000 point card with the $50 gift card I received for Christmas. I ordered 5 cards and paid $65 for 15 months of Live and 4000 pts! Incredible deal.

Question - do the points not get emailed to you until you pick up the cards if you chose store pickup?

My orders have been ready for about 45 minutes now, but no codes have been emailed to me.
Couldn't resist and went back for 2 more cards. Not really even that great of a deal when you do the math though, but I can almost never resist deals when MSP is involved.

It's essentially $30 for a year of live (how much I always pay) plus $21.96 for 2400 MSP. Although it is a solid deal if you look at it from a $35/year standpoint since $30 annual subs are really rare anymore. $16.96 for 2400 is pretty darn great.
I feel the same way. My Gold is finally going to be up in a few months and it was either scrounge around here at CAG trying to deal for another $30 subscription or just do this with less hassle. I'm trying 3-4 online orders now.

According to Best Buy customer service, the code emails will trigger after the card(s) are picked up at the store.
The Points are dead or no? I'm not seeing them on the deal page.
I'm still seeing them added. Take a look in your cart once you add the subscription.
The Points are dead or no? I'm not seeing them on the deal page.
You have to actually add the 3-month XBL card to your cart - the 800 MSP bonus then shows up in your cart automatically.
For those wondering, just place multiple orders to get multiple cards.
are you using the same email? or a different payment method?

Well damn, I was looking at my sons xbl account, it expires on the 7th of this month. Anyone care to spot me $10 via paypal until Friday?
are you using the same email? or a different payment method?
Yes. No. There is nothing written that says multiple orders are not allowed.

Ah, thanks everybody! Was confused since it doesn't mention them before you add to cart. Ordered.

I think they're back in stock guys. Went to check and i'm able to add a card to my cart for shipping. Get em while they're hot!

If someone will spot me the $10, I will PM you the 800msp code when BB emails it to me. I just need the 3 months for my sons account.

Doesn't 800 MSP normally cost $10?

It's looking that way now. Mine have been ready for about an hour and a half and no codes.

Actually I was thinking about this and if it's 4 cards for 1 year that's 3200 points! $22 for 3200 points if you figure $30 for the Live year! Awesome deal!
Bought 2, May go back for one more. Why does this deal happen when the rent is due AND my wife's birthday is next week!?
I'm sure she and your landlord will both understand.
4 separate orders.
Thanks, got me a years worth. Was due to expire in Feb of this year, so good timing!

Went to the store to pick one up, 800 point code is printed on the receipt.

Actually for some reason I was given 1600 points

I didnt order anything online, just went to the store, picked up a card.

I just checked my account on bestbuy. I've ordered two and it appears one got through and another has gotten canceled. Does anyone with multiple orders gotten their second and third ones canceled?

Edit:

This is an email from best buy concerning the cancelation of my second order
---------------
Hi Jae:

There's been a change to the status of your order.

Your order has been canceled. Please refer to our conditions of use related to order limitations/limited quantities at BestBuy.com.

I'm guessing some of you gotten the same email ?

Regarding the Harry Potter collection on Blu-ray. The US version is a ripoff. You can buy the UK version from amazon UK for less money, including shipping to the US, AND it includes extras, unlike the bare bones US release. The UK Blu-ray release (NOT the DVD version) is region-free. I paid $43.44 shipped. You will have to wait a bit to receive it, but it's worth the wait given both the savings and the extras.

Now I'm wondering if I buy one in store if I won't get the points code, since I already ordered online...

I reported this morning my shipped cards sent the codes but my in store card did not. 3 hours later and still no codes. I wonder if you need to pick them up. Considering just letting them cancel in a week than deal with getting CS to send me the codes.

That's sucks. I'm guessing if they have already sent the codes they will more than likely not cancel the order since they will eat the cost of the MSP. I've redeemed all 8 of my orders MSP codes and all my orders are still active...knock on wood.
