Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of a
qualifying game and get multiple awards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy
member per game title.
What if I pre-ordered a qualifying game before I
saw this offer?
If you pre-ordered a qualifying game before seeing
this offer, you’ll still qualify for the offer as long as
your member ID is attached to the transaction.
When will I receive my $10 reward certificate?
For each qualified purchase, you will receive 500 My
Best Buy points (worth $10 in reward certificates)
credited to your account approximately 15–20 days
after street date or store pickup.
If I pre-order a game now using my GCU and the
game releases after my membership ends, will
I still get the 20% off discount?

For in-store pre-orders, I can definitively say that if
your GCU membership is expired when you
complete your pickup, you will not receive the 20%
discount. This is because in-store pre-orders are not
processed until the time of pickup, and we only
collect an up-front deposit.

Pre-orders made on BestBuy.com are not as cut and
dry as in-store, but it is possible to retain your GCU
discount on a title released after your membership
expires for these types of pre-orders. Reason being,
when you place your pre-order the GCU discount is
calculated up front, and we then pre-authorize the
discounted total with your bank. If all goes well, the
discount can be retained upon release, however,
there is no guarantee.

A sure way to lose the discount on BestBuy.com
pre-orders is if any modifications are made to the
order prior to release, but after your membership
has expired. These modifications could be updating
the billing address, changing the form of payment,
and others. This is because when a modification is
made it triggers another authorization on your form of
payment, which should recalculate the price if your
GCU membership is no longer active.

Decided to grab Ghost Recon for that price and a Divison clone, no brainer, now will have to pick up Grid next week, hopefully UE will add $10 also. Any news on NFS Heat getting $10 would be nice also.

Don't worry, as echoed here the game appears to be complete trash. I've only seen limited reviews pop up so far but they've all been BAD. Not even mediocre bad, we're talking worse than Anthem scores. I'm sitting on the fence for now, but unless something drastic happens; I'm canceling mine.

If you are talking GR, reviews are wrong, absolutely loving this game. I bought Anthem day one and it was horrible, just different with the flying, but GR is way better. It is like a cross between Wildlands and Division 2, but has just a great feel to it. I haven't stopped playing since Day 1.

Reviews can't be wrong, they are one person's opinion of a game.
 
Sorry if its already been mentioned but I was checking pre-orders on Best Buy and Luigi's Mansion 3 came up as being eligible for the $10 Reward Bonus.

Did they pull Jedi: Fallen Order from this promo? It's on the $10 bonus page but the game listing itself doesn't have the blue banner any longer.

 
Will I get the $10 reward cert for LM3 before Pokemon comes out? i know i've seen you guys mention getting it late before

Guess when I get paid next week I'll get pokemon sword and Luigi's mansion. At best they will be 49 dollars over the holidays and this will turn out the same indirectly anyway.

 
I wouldn't be surprised if Luigi's Mansion 3 is an error. It's not listed on the page of games eligible for the promo and games usually don't get added this close to release. I'd screenshot it as proof if I ordered it.

 
I'm tempted by Luigi's Mansion 3 but I want to wait and see if BB gives away the steelbook free with purchases sometime in the future (like they did with Mario Kart and Pokemon).

It says "Thank you" here's your 25% off coupon. Looks very much like a junk e-mail. If you are on the fence buy now as my GCU was wonky the whole last week and for sure it's de-activated by 11/8. They really screw with you.

Is it just me, or does BB not allow you to pick someone else for store pickup now?

That's a big bummer.  It's a 45 minute drive for me and I know someone that works 1 mile away.  It's super convenient to add someone else for pickup.

You can preorder it now before your GCU expires, and if they add the $10 later you should still get it. Worst case is it doesn't add automatically and you have to get Best Buy support to give it to you manually.

Maybe a week before.....and don’t wait to use it last minute. I think I tried buying a game after already using my coupon and GCU didn’t work the day before it was supposed to expire.
 
A heads up. Best Buy emailed me a free $10 voucher valid through November 4th, but I can't seem to use it on anything digital, and there's no pin number so I have to be signed in to use it online. Would I not be able to trade this, or would someone else be able to use it in store without any issues?

OKay, so since walmarts new game price is like 49.88.   Can you get bestbuy to price match that and get the 10 dollar reward?

 
Price matching would kill any bonus like that even if it wasn't tied to a preorder. Not that you could match those Walmart deals anyway since they are in-store only.

If the price holds (and I don't see why it wouldn't), just get a PM post-release via chat. By then, everything will have processed.
