Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?

Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?

Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

My RE6:Archives purchase info has been on my points page for the last couple of days with no mention of the extra 1000 points. Should I be worried? Or do the 1000 points show up later under something else?
If I recall, someone previously stated that BBY said special editions ARE included in the promo. I ordered Anthology too, so I'm anxiously waiting as well. And I preordered the 25th.
They were definitely included, but it seems like none of us who ordered those versions have the 1K points posted while many people who preordered the vanilla edition do. I am going to give it until tomorrow and then I will call to see what's up.

Resident Evil has only been out for a week. You know even if they are quote on quote pending you still aren't getting them until 30-35 days after purchase. So why worry about it...

Let me go and start the chain... No, I don't have pending points for Dishonored.

True, although my FIFA points posted in my pending points less than a week of picking up my game and then posted to my total today. I remember my madden points took like 2 weeks to post to my pending and those actually did take about 30 days to post in my total. So I guess the sooner they show in your pending, the faster they show up in your total points? Idk

My 2x $20 RZ Certs are pending (NBA2k13 & RE6), phew it dident list it under my original purchase yesterday, but today that changed, I could of swore the cashier canceled and refunded instead of "Exchange" which would of voided my Certificates, but nope all is well : ). The Gamer rep on the BestBuy unbox forum told me, even if the cashier rang it up wrong, as long as the return/cancel deposit AND Purchase of the game on the same receipt, BB corp actually gets a copy of ALL the transscripts and will add the Promotion Cert/and or DLC manually usually within 24 hours.

I picked up my preorder for "Dishonor" today at BBY, and it went buttery smooth, cashier was well informed, quick, gave me the bonus USB lamp (pretty neat for free) without even having to say anything, only thing is I gave him my GC's first, and then my $20 RZ cert, but he said it was to late for the Cert, because that have to be done before GC's (is that true?) He offered to void it, and then ring everything back up, but I had a feeling that would screw up my $20 preorder promotion RZ Cert. I just said No, I will just save that for another time.

I have no doubt all all, that my transaction went smooth and will receive the $20 RZ Cert, only suggestion I have for BBY is why not make some sort of notation on the receipt that you will recieve the bonus Certificate?
"Pre-Order Victory is yours Bonus" or something simple so we dont have to worry about the cashier ringing it up wrong.

Depends on how much was left after your GC's. The $20 RZ Cert comes off pre-tax, so it needs to be spent on something at least $20.00+. If your GC's brought it down past that, then yes, it was too late.

Yess, my NBA points posted in my pending total!!! I was afraid I wasn't going to get them because when I preordered the cashier wasn't paying attention clearly I guess and put me down as having the PS3 version instead of the Xbox version so I had to do some type of return/rebuy type deal when I picked it up. Funny thing is that I received the PS3 bonus code somehow, instead of the Xbox 360 version so I'm thinking that when I picked it up that the cashier secretly switched them out because I told her that I would probably miss out on the $20 RZ cert. although it does say I preordered the ps3 version and picked up the Xbox version on the same reciept

Because points for the regular version are pending for everyone now and the longer you wait to raise the issue with customer service, the foggier their memory becomes of the promotion.

Thats what I thought too, my total left after GC's was $24.55, and I tried to use a $20 Gift Certificate but said I couldent, he said something about pretax, but still even without counting tax, it would be $22 owed.

Where is this RAT DLC? in box? Receipt?or Email? because I asked him and said No DLC, im like I thought I remember their was DLC, he is like nope, I been waiting for this game forever.

Let's see there are flyers.
Let's see there is a big post on their website.
Let's see it is pasted by their own employees on their forum.

Trust me, there is no need to worry about this until the 35 day mark from your purchase. Note I got the archives version and mine aren't pending but I could care less at this point. Best Buy Reward Zone website is never updated to begin with. For example, my purchase from today hasn't posted. Will I get my points from these purchases... Yes I will... so again I don't worry.
Because points for the regular version are pending for everyone now and the longer you wait to raise the issue with customer service, the foggier their memory becomes of the promotion.
I think a lot of people also don't want happening is the points not pending even after waiting 25-30ish days, only to call CS and them possibly posting the points but those having to pend for another month or so.

But most of the time I'm sure they'll just automatically credit you I'd the poins don't show up in the time frame.

I know most all of us plan to use these freebie certs to deduct the price of the other titles in the promotion, thus the impatience.

Nevermind I went to the Gaming support Bestbuy fourms, Cashier never added to the DLC Sku like I mentioned to him. Here is a pro tip, the day before a release, go on that forum, and they will have a sticky on what ever new hot game release (That has a $20 RZ Cert and or DLC bonus) and will list the SKU that you can ask the cashier to enter manually during the pickup of your game so the DLC will print on receipt and Email. This will help you be prepared so you can make sure the cashier is ringing it up correctly.
Should a pending purchase mention the 1,000 points?
Mine always have, its listed such as "Preorder Victory is yours Bonus" 1000 pts, but I notice it can take a few days to show up under that transaction, even if that transaction is already pending. My Madden 2013 Gift Cert took almost a week to show up under the original transaction, but then again, my Borderlands 2 1000 Rz pt bonus should up at the exact time the transaction showed up on my RZ account.

Actually, RZ is updated on a very regular basis. In the past six months, I have never had to wait for more than a few days for any purchase to appear and while the total has been out of whack occasionally, at least everything that's supposed to be there shows up.

I'm not worried that I will not get the promised points. I am, however, skeptical that it will be done automatically as like I said earlier, my Dishonored points already show as pending and everyone else already has their RE6 points pending if they ordered vanilla. I don't think anyone actually has had to wait 30-35 days for the points to show as pending on any of the prior games with the bonus. It's been seven days now since I picked up the game. That's right at the outer limit of how long it took any of the previous points to show as pending. Hence my concern. Also, all of the things you listed are pretty worthless to me personally since I ordered on line for store pickup. The people answering the phone at the 1-800 number aren't going to open up the website or have banners in their call center cubicles. So, like I said I am concerned and will follow-up with BestBuy as needed.

No problems getting Dishonored today. The guy knew to add the sku for the DLC bonus and they had at least 20 Lamps and a list for people on the pre-order sheet. The lamp is fine enough but for some reason I thought it was going to be a USB flash stick. It actually has a long usb cord to light it up.

Still waiting on my RE6 bonus points (I did get the Archives version, which I saw people saying they weren't getting the points with yet either though)

I changed my mind on picking up RE6 due to reviews all over the place and my backlog. I couldn't cancel it because it was an in-store pickup. I got an email last Wed to pick it up by Friday to avoid cancellation. Saturday I get another email to pick it up by Tuesday to avoid cancellation. The website still shows it as "Order in Process" and the gift card I used hasn't been refunded. How long am I going have to wait until it's really cancelled?

I preordered Sunday online, it shipped monday, and I got the DLC email Tuesday. No points pending, but probably too early to expect it.

Now to wait for the game to arrive. ETA=15th.... sigh

It has nothing to do with Best Buy itself, it is a lack of the employee being trained and/or caring. I have gotten my DLC for Borderlands 2, RE6, and Disonored without a problem.

This. It's the employee who needs to be trained to do it. The message pops up and most employees don't know what to do except the ones who have done a preorder in the past.
My borderlands 2 points took about 10 days to show up in my account.
Mine still haven't shown up, and on the Reward Zone site it doesn't even say pending. It says I paid $4.94 for Borderlands 2 (which was the difference after I paid with gift cards) but not mention of 1000 points or anything else.

Got any info you can share with me for when I go pickup ACIII and WWE 13 at the end of the month? A button to press, or something? The girls at my CS are super helpful but they can be a bit out of the loop on subjects such as this.
Will BB ever get the DLC worked out, another cluster fuck for dishonored
Well, their backup system (or whatever you want to call it) seems to be working. A mod on their forums said that they pull a daily report of purchases that may not have been done right and email codes within a day. My Dishonored preorder wasn't done right yesterday, and I just got my DLC code an hour ago.

Save yourself the hassle and just preorder online with in-store pickup. I have bought every game in this promo using that method and haven't had a single problem.
It has nothing to do with Best Buy itself, it is a lack of the employee being trained and/or caring. I have gotten my DLC for Borderlands 2, RE6, and Disonored without a problem.
it is bestbuy's fault because
1) they don't train their employees and
2) they have a horrible system that makes it difficult for preorders

if you preorder a game the dlc should automatically be on the receipt, the employee shouldn't have to select it, the system should just know!

This is one thing that gamestop actually has right
Now I have to decide to sell this DLC or not. Seems like $15 is the going price.
I'd sell it, someone said that most of the stuff you get is just early access. Not 100% sure on that though.

same thing happened with me.. someone from the geek squad had to do my preorder because my bestbuy sucks and can't afford to hire a game specialist.. ofcourse she didn't put the dlc on it.

i got an email an hour ago with my dlc

my only question is if the $20 gc will go to my account even if the employee didn't put the dlc on my receipt

where do you sell it on? ebay? When I sell DLC on ebay they keep removing the listing for copyright violation..

I have a ton of dlc to sell that I don't need
This is one thing that gamestop actually has right
Well they should considering they ask you to pre-order a dam game every time you walk into the store. BBY may not always get it right but they will make it right. Not being peppered with pre-ordered begging every time I go there, a 60 price match window, and $20 RZ rebates seems to trump having to wait a day or two for some DLC.

Yeah I sell on Ebay. I take pics of the cards and say I will mail it to the person. Most people end up just wanting me to email them the code. Some want the card. Some want both. I have sold about 40 codes this past month with no issues.

The dishonored "black rat" DLC for $15? I seen a auction end at $7 yesterday

Everytime I put up an auction for DLC on eBay it gets taken down by the eBay team. How are you guys getting around that? It's complete BS considering there's multiple other listings for the same DLC. I've read on this board that there used to be an overzealous member who would report people for putting up DLC auctions.
Finally saw my NBA2K13 preorder 1000 pts magically appear pending on the reward zone account... phew.
Quick question for you if you dont mind. Did the general purchase of the game show up before today? Or did both the purchase and the 1000 points get liseted today at the same time?

Thanks

That happened with RE6 for me. Few days later the points appeared in the transaction.
