Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?
You can only sign up for Gamer’s Club [Unlocked] in store. If you are signing up the day you pick up an eligible pre-order, the pre-order exchange and [Unlocked] sale must be completed on the same receipt.

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

How do I link my Reward Zone account to my BestBuy.com account to ensure my purchases are tracked?
Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A price match done in-store or on BestBuy.com within policy will not affect your eligibility for the $20 bonus certificate.
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...
It depends on how you pre-ordered it...

Did you pre-ordered it online for in-store pickup?
If so you will need to go to customer service to pick up your game.

Did you pre-ordered it in-store with the $5 deposit?
If so you will need to go to the gaming section and hand over your $5 deposit receipt.
Yeah I did it in store. I'll head back there then on Tuesday. Thanks.

And how do I get my preorder code? Will it be emailed? If so about how long does it take?

There is an in store pickup line right when you walk in for online orders. Just show your ID and credit card you used online. Most times they never have it at the desk so someone has to grab the game. Usually chat with the hot girl at counter so I don't mind waiting.

Code comes through email after pickup usually same day.

I'm assuming your getting Borderlands 2 at BB cause of the $20 RZ cert. promo. Just make sure your final receipt says EXCHANGE on the top with the $5 deposit returned, and they charge you the full $59.99 for the game plus your RZ card number attached to it.

This is the only way BB's system can tell you actually did a pre-order in-store and came to pick it up.

Edit: The pre-order code will be emailed to you. Based on my experience usually the same or next day.

hey guys,

do any of you know if you do the preorder in-store, does the receipt say that you are a gamer's club unlocked member? I ask because I had just signed up for the membership earlier that day and didn't see anything mentioning it on the preorder receipt.

Looking at my receipt it says nothing about being a unlocked gc member. Just that I'm a reward zone premier silver member. (I'm not silver status though)

And thanks for the reply htz

Thanks for checking! i feel reassured now :D

So my Borderlands 2 shipped via UPS Mail Innovations on Thursday, arrived in a city about 30 minutes from me yesterday, and the tracking says expected delivery is on the 20th. That's some BS, if accurate.

if Gamestop sells me Borderlands 2 for $45 at the midnight release can I bring my receipt to Best Buy and price match that when I pick it up Tuesday?

$45 - $20 Cert would be sick.

I don't want to get your hopes up but I've usually found that UPS MI is very pessimistic about expected delivery. I just got NHL13 4 days before UPSMI said I should expect it.

Just curious, how would you get it for $45 at GS?

i'd like to know that too.

also since i'm here. i did my preorder a week or so ago. the gaming guy said i could purchase the gamers unlocked anytime before the game is released in order to get the 20 dollar credit/giftcard/rz voucher. can they add it on, or do i have to do some sort of exchange process or some long drawn out process

Read the details in op. If you don't already have GCU, you should purchase it on the same receipt that you pick up your first preorder game.

Yeah I wondered that myself. I just don't remember the last time I got something via that route.

does anyone know if you can pay for preorders early? I have FIFA 13 preordered but I have a $100 rewards zone cert that I want to use. I wanted to grab LittleBigPlanet since its already out and then pay off the rest of my fifa (and get a soda or something to push it over $100). The thing is I dont know if preorderes can be paid off early? Im too scared to cancel my preorder because then I may not get my bonus $20 cert...

Only online they can make it be paid in full.

Thing is you cant order LittleBigPlanet online...Its still has a release date of 9/25 on there...so I wouldnt get it until then anyway (store pick up isnt even an option for it)
Is it too late to preorder Borderlands 2 for the promo?
I think (not sure) that today is the last day you can preorder and still get the $20 in RZ certificates since it releases tomorrow.

So I'm sure this has been asked but I can't find a search function within a thread (if there is one, can someone let me know how to use it?).

I'm wondering if this offer applies to the PC version. I'm looking at getting Borderlands 2 for PC with some friends (have it preordered as 360 right now) and would love to get the 20 dollar coupon if we can't find a fourth for the four pack on steam.

I'm also curious about this for MOH: Warfighter (though I'm not sure if enough people will buy it on PC but that's another story)

To answer your question about the search function within a thread, it's almost immediately above the topmost post on a page but below the options that include "User CP", "FAQ", "Community", etc. (it's to the right of "View First Unread").

Fair enough on both counts.

That is my bad for not seeing that part in the original post but thank you for the search explanation.

Not sure if anyone knows here but I remember in one of the BB threads someone said about putting all your gift cards on to the pitch in card. I was wondering, I just got mine today in the mail but can't seem to figure out how to move my gift cards into my pitch in card

I know I won't have time to play Borderlands 2 right now, but with all the bonuses you get for preordering...is the premier club access worth it?

Thanks I just put 3 of my gift cards on it but when I try to put the last one I have after I click 'contribute' the page just goes blank and won't load at all. Can someone else try just clicking contribute and see if their page loads, I want to see if its just me or what

Hmmm. I'm seeing people mentioning that they have already received the points for madden. I preordered and picked the game up on launch day but I'm still not seeing any points yet. Should I be concerned?

I don't remember what launch day was, but I would not worry about it until you get past day 35. those of us who have already received it honestly should not have yet

It gets you the $10 DLC character that releases in Oct.

I feel like the reason people get points earlier is because they preordered earlier. As in, the $5 down goes from $5 to the full purchase on their RZ, and then it processes normally and grants the points once the purchase clears normally.

well went and preordered another game. Went and ordered Resident Evil 6 archive edition. So now i have 4 games where i get the 20 dollar RZ certificate back. my poor poor wallet

That's not the case on my end. I preordered the day before release, and got my points and certs last week, only about two weeks after release day which was on 8/28.

Well my theory is dead. Guess it's the myRZ site is always screwy
So the big question on my mind is will I get the 10$ for spending 60$ and the 20$ for preordering Borderlands 2...
What $10 for spending $60?
That deal ended 8/31. You could get $10 for placing a in store pick-up order for $60 or more
That was over 50 which I got with NCAA and Madden. Wondering if there is some new deal for $60.

Question: I pre-ordered BL2 last year (Nov 2011) which was before the whole $20 deal was in place. Does my pre-order still count towards the promotion? I called Premiere Silver just now and they seemed to indicate that I won't get the $20. Does anyone have evidence to the contrary?

That's going to be the tricky part, I placed the order before 8/31 for instore pickup, so In my mind I qualify. I'll be annoyed if that's not the case because I ended up reordering everything to break the orders up into single game purchases.

We shall soon see.

I posted my Q on the BBY boards. Let the sparks fly.

You had to pickup before 8/31 which Borderlands 2 didn't qualify. You won't get the $10 savings code.

Edit: refering to the $10 cert for $50 purchase, not the $20 preorder GCU offer.

If I remember correctly, you had to do in store pick up and actually pick it up by 8/31.
Edit:ninja'd
