Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?
You can only sign up for Gamer’s Club [Unlocked] in store. If you are signing up the day you pick up an eligible pre-order, the pre-order exchange and [Unlocked] sale must be completed on the same receipt.

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

How do I link my Reward Zone account to my BestBuy.com account to ensure my purchases are tracked?
Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

Interesting indeed.
only for electronics and appliances, I don't know if that includes games or not

So my 1000 points posted for Dishonored today thats makes three days after I picked the game up. I still do not have my 1000 points from my RE6:Archives posted yet which I also picked up on ots release day. Do you think I should try and call already or wait it out for a few more days?

One of the mods at BestBuy.com forums finally responded in relation to RE6 collector's editions:

"You are absolutely correct that the Resident Evil 6 Anthology was an eligible title for the Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered offer, and should garner you the promised 1000 points.

I have reached out to our Reward Zone operations team to see if they could provide more context on the offer in conjunction with these specific SKU's and will update you when I know more. In any event, I am confident we will have all the points distributed within 30 days as expected. Thank you for your continued patience."

Obviously, there was a problem that likely wouldn't have been resolved if nobody brought it up.

I hate to sound like I'm complaining (which I'm not) but I too can join the train and say that my 2k13 points have already posted (online in-store pickup), RE6 archives (online in-store pickup) still doesn't show the 1000 pending, and my dishonored (pre-ordered in store) shows the 1000 pending. I've pre-ordered all previous games on the list as well and all of those points have posted.

Haven't called BB yet but I do think something is up and I'm hoping a phone call doesn't have to be made. After just reading the reply by one of the BB mods though I don't expect I'll have to.

best buy rewards again shows the purchase i picked up but absolutely no pending victory can be preordered 1000 points, just the standard rzgc 54 bonus points.

i don't have a problem waiting the 30 days for me able to cash in on the promo... but i don't like my time wasted to get things straight. :wall:

it should show the promo bonus pending right as soon as the transaction is visible - and it's not.
It will be nice when this promo is over, so all the complaining stops.
+1.

It's all the people who freak out about not getting their points 30 minutes after they pick up their game. STFU and have some patience!
+1.

Nobody is upset that they didn't get their points immediately. The problem is that the 1000 points are supposed to show as pending within a reasonable time after pickup which according to everyone here and elsewhere, has been within 3-7 days from pickup. With the collector's editions of RE6, this hasn't happened despite 10 days worth of time passing. I don't think there is anything wrong with raising this issue with Best Buy rather than having to argue with them about it 30-35 days from now when the return window closes. Honestly, if you guys are so upset by this discussion, why are you even in this thread? It's not like BB is adding new titles and the only reason to still be here is to post about the points or any problems anyone might be having with the promotion.
is it odd that in the transaction for Dishonored, it shows 1000 points but it doesn't show it in pending points of my running total?
Yeah I have the same thing. That total amount can definitely run behind though. I will get jumps of hundreds of points sometimes well after they are pending in the list. It is all good.

On a personal note I just crossed $2500 so I am Silver another year (already updated). The crazy thing is I spent maybe $100 this year but trades counting have made it pretty easy to get it.

You traded over a thousand? You must be loaded! (in terms of BBY GCs):D

Oh yeah, and:
"You god damn 1% silver members (→_→)"

Does silver stack? I'm silver already til 2014 from upgrading my phone there but also if I run over the 2500 will that make me til 2015? Just wondering about to past 2500 also

I am not sure. I do know they do not reset the counter once you make it. It won't reset till the 1st of the year. If that counter is still under $2500 I would imagine you could still get another year if you get to $2500 before Jan 1.

Pretty sure it doesn't stack. I'm up to 5000+ point between some appliance purchases, a new camera, regular purchases, lots of trades, and all the credit card bonus points and mine express February 2014.
My rz hasn't updated since 10-6. No pending 1000 for B2 or Dishonored.
None for Borderlands 2 for me yet...

It's not that funny. Best Buy just automatically creates used games for every new release and prices it at $45 as a default.

Sorry to spoil your fun.

It's funny because their selling it as used when minecraft is a download only game lolololol

RZ page is playing mind game with me again. Had 191 points with 1,306 points pending this morning and now it's back to 191 points with only 279 points pending.

Odd that it changes so much like that. I feel it'll be back to normal tomorrow morning.

My points has taken as long as 2 weeks to show up as pending.

The transaction shows up in a timely fashion though.

Do I panic? No. I assume their system is lagging big time on my account. Why the lag? Don't know. All I know is that the end result has always worked the way it should. Whether I call on the 28th day to get the points, or give them a few weeks... end result is still the same.

Win.

I have had 3 preorders so far work fine, I have never had a transaction show up first without the 1,000 points and then the 1,000 points added later.

Add on the fact that anthology is special edition and yes there is a reason to doubt if it will ever be added.
big news from best buy. they will price match online retailers this holiday season. this is a pretty big deal when you combine with the giftcard, and possibly 60 (silver) days to price match.

http://news.yahoo.com/best-buy-match-online-retailer-pricing-holiday-season-141536715.html

only question is what the "holiday season" is exactly date wise
I'd reckon 11/24-12/26. They probably don't want too big of a window.
Would that be for games as well?
it doesnt say for sure, but I took it as anything that falls under their price match guarantee.

Called my Best Buy about this. They are saying it starts immediately but does not include accessories (not sure what that entails), install services, and geek squad services (including the protection plans). So it seems like it will include video game systems and games (which is awesome!!!) as well as everything else they sell like appliances and stuff.

These are the following sites they will price match:
 • Amazon.com
 • apple.com
 • buy.com
 • circuitcity.com
 • dell.com
 • lowes.com
 • sears.com
 • walmart.com
 • tigerdirect.com

 • staples.com
 • newegg.com
 • officemax.com
 • officedepot.com
 • hp.com
 • homedepot.com
 • hhgreg.com
 • crutchfield.com

Yep, I went to price match Newegg's Yakuza Dead Souls yesterday and was shocked when they pulled up their PM list and Newegg was on there. This is gonna be fun! Or bad...for my wallet. I like buying at BB to get RZ points, and it's literally 3 minutes from my house, so it's convenient.

Also, my Dishonored bonus points posted nicely. I am loving Best Buy this year!

The only downside is the tax/gas, but you can also call bestbuy.com and they will price match over the phone for you and most of the time there is free shipping, so that can save on gas, but it'll take a while to get it. It is nice thanks to the RZ stuff, earning points and using points on amazon stuff is very useful.
