Was anyone else pleasantly surprised that the original Crysis came with Crysis 3? I thought it was a Gamestop and Amazon exclusive. I was debating going through with my preorder and now I'm very glad that I did.

I pre-ordered the CEs of Tomb Raider and God of War in-store for in-store pickup. If they aren't there on release date when I go to pick them up, what is likely to happen? I can't imagine they're going to offer me anything other than a refund for my deposit...

I got mine after exactly 2 hrs after I picked it up.

my advice for you, when you go pick up your preorder next time, check and make sure the dlc code is on the receipt, before you leave the store.

When it wasn't there, I figured since I pre-ordered it online... I would get an email with it

Just from my experience last year, if you pre-order it online for in-store pick-up, the DLC bonuses come via email and aren't printed on the pick-up receipt. I don't know if that has changed, but that's what I remember the few times I did it then.

It was a preorder bonus for Crysis 3. A $20 value for absolutely free. Even if you end up not liking 3, you can trade it off and along with the 20 cert, you come out way ahead.
 
Im going to guess if I got the DLC code, it means I should get my 20 with no issue. I hope all the PMing and "loyalty adjustment" after the fact they had to do doesnt mess with it lol.

Ordered mine last night for xbox and got the dlc this morning. Hopefully it shows up for you.

What a cluster at my store when picking up MGR and Crysis 3.
I should have known preordering 2 games on the same receipt paid in full would cause problems come pick up time and they sure did. The customer service clerks were clueless on how to process them with the new system in place and wanted to void / cancel the order and rering the games. I stopped them right there and told them preorder reward certs are linked with that transaction and in doing what they were thinking of doing would make me loose out on them. They called over a supervisor who was also puzzled but somehow rang it up but accidentally deleted the preorder bonus for Crysis 3. I told them about it not being on the receipt and he wasn't sure what to do. I told him at this point I may just need to contact BB to get it and don't worry about it on their end. I got the preorder code for MGR but of course nothing for Crysis 3. I will wait couple of days before contacting BB just to be sure. Great!

Also instead of using the pre order receipt, they had so much problems they instead just deducted 5 dollars off the price. This will be fun once price matching comes to play...
 
I picked up Metal Gear Rising tonight at Best Buy and price matched it to Frys.com $49.99 with no issues. Also, while I was there I got the price match on Dead Space 3 that I got on preorder to Amazon.com $39.99 price and had no issues. In fact I did not even have to show an ad and they did not even look it up. I assume they have already had others price matching these. Just thought I would share......
 
Anyone playing Crysis 3? I am on mission 2 and the audio is horrendous. Constantly cutting in and out. I am using Turtle Beach Headphones with a DSS sound processor. It is making it almost unplayable. A quick search shows others with an issue but no solutions. Game is good so far but I am glad i am only renting it for a few days.

Edit: I am going to try to save quit and see if it helps. The Dolby light just flickers on and off. It is really bad.

So if I call into BB tomorrow, I can pricematch TRU ad for MGR:R since the new policy isn't in place yet?
 
Very pleased with the included Crysis 1 DLC code - completely didn't realize it was included.

Also, Day 1 PMs from Fry's and TrU leaves me with no regrets! I am really going to miss these PMs when the new policy comes into play.

lol I had similar problem except mine is worse. I didn't know about the new system/pre-ordering 2 games on the same receipt. I tried to do that with crysis 3 and MGR as well. Never looked twice at the receipt. Today I found out it is 2 pre-orders of MGR. :lol: I didn't care enough about Crysis 3 so I just let them cancel.
 
I just called into CS to PM my .com preorder of MGR to Fry's. The rep said she would have to send a request and they would get back to me. I asked if I could get the credit processed on the phone and she said that the process has just changed... does this have something to do with the new upcoming policy change or did I just get stuck with a misinformed rep?

The codes are usually emailed within 5 minutes of pickup. At times, it can be erratic. One time, my DLC did not show up until 12 hours later. BB reps usually advise to wait a day. If not, then follow up with them and they'll take care of you.

The changes are happening March 3rd. Probably a clueless rep :p

reading this I recalled a rep saying I'll get an email in a few days about a credit when I called to PM Far Cry 3 in December (or whenever Target had it for $39.99). I just checked and apparently I never got an email and the order status does not show and credited amount. fuck anyone have suggestions? I think this also happened with another game I tried to PM in October

This week, I got my 2 preorder dlc emails at 10 AM and I haven't even picked up my games yet. BBY is so wildly inconsistent it's mind-boggling.
 
FYI for anyone who got metal gear and it came with the best buys "White Armor" I put mine up on ebay for 99 cents or buy it now for $30 and within an hour someone paid me $30 for it. a costume in a single player game.

I sold my Ni No Kuni DLC from Wizard Edition for $70. I had no problems as of yet.
 
i searched the code and saw maybe 30+ of them listed. lots of accounts with over 100 feedback score, same with mine. usually they remove my code auctions after a few days. If you put one up for a 3 day auction or a buy it now usually they wont catch it in time. I have had maybe 5 or 6 code auctions taken down and never been reprimanded.

I think ebay gets confused as to what digital content and ownership means. People used to sell in game items and characters earned through playing games, such as gold in MMOs. These codes are different in my opinion as its not a type of currency in a game, its earned only through a form of purchase, sometimes impossible to obtain without using a certain retailer. I sold my MU online char maybe 10 years ago for around $100. A few months later they started outlawing that kinda stuff.

Do it at your own risk, but being a customer of ebay for a long time I have never run into any real problems.
 
For those who haven't received their DLC codes... have you tried checking your receipts? I was waiting for my code to be emailed to me as well, until I was looking over my receipts from today and saw that the code was printed somewhere 3/4 down. Just a tip in case some people overlooked that lool
 
So... they won't accept Reward Zone certificates now when picking up or purchasing a pre-order? That's going to be an issue then, considering it's the key reason why we're in this program.

I purchased metal gear and crysis 3 today with a $50 certificate I didn't have a problem.. but I went to the gaming guy I know who knows what he is doing

They denied my $5 cert when trying to pre-order God of War a few days ago. The system wouldn't allow it. I had to use credit :cry:

That's probably what happened to my 2 PMs I posted about earlier. I do remember the rep saying she would "look into it". I asked her again if I would be getting the $10 on Ni No Kuni and the $19.xx on DS3 and I am fairly sure she said yes but I still wasn't convinced. I know when I PM'd Far Cry 3, the rep looked at the Target site, confirmed the price and I was certain before I hung up that I would be getting the PM.

Did they give you a case ID number when you did the PM?
 
I just looked at my purchased history and notice that my purchase of Dead Space 3 is not pending anymore to get the RZ points. So shouldn't I get my pre-order $20 (1,000 points) added to my account? Or does the points come later?

Could someone check their history and let me know if your pending points got lifted.

if 1 auction gets taken down they don't do anything
do it a 2nd time and you're "below standards" and you show up worse in the search results
do it a 3rd time and you will have selling restrictions
do it a 4th time most likely you will be banned.

this resets after 3 months. I have gotten dlc listings removed 2 times in 1 month and my account was below standard for 3 months until it reset.
