What tipped it were their various deals where they would mimic the game deals from other stores. I can pay the same amount as I would for a title on sale at CC this week but I just have to wait a day or two for my order? That's fine! Not having to pay tax and not having to go to CC to get a 30 minute runaround more than make up for the slight wait.

I'd like to nominate Family Video. I was able to buy Halo 3 for 45 bucks, including tax and shipping, right when Halo 3 was released. Looking at their website right now, they have a $5 off $50 coupon. Even compared to Amazon, an excellent place for getting video game deals, some of their games are slightly cheaper (compare Uncharted, Mario Galaxy, and Mass Effect).
