Got this blister on my thumb (thanks sony for having gap in the d-pad). Whats the best way to get rid of it?
If you figure out how to prevent blisters or make them heal faster, give Josh Beckett a call.
Beckett needs to start urinating on his fingers, a la Moises Alou and Jorge Posada.

OP, you should give it a try also. Alou said that urinating on the hands hardens the skin, preventing blisters among other things.

I used to get "Nintendo Thumb" as we would call it from Street Fighter II on the SNES. best way to get rid of it is to use you hands for something else.
Only time I got a blister was from playing Xmen vs Street Fighter on PS1 :whistle2:/
Street Fighter Alpha 3 on PS1 for me ;)
I don't think I've managed to do that from gaming.
You've obviously never played an N64-era Mario Party game. Oh my poor poor palm...
I got a blister from trying to play Capcom vs SNK 2 with the GCN pad. didn't take long either.
Shoulda used a Hori pad.

I have an idea:
oh no, the shy guy game in mario party for 64 was hell on your hands
mario party was killer on my hands too, the analog stick was brutal when u had to just go clockwiser or counterclockwise. I would spin the hell out of it with my palm and my hand got blistered up.

Just stop playing for a lil bit

Did anyone ever get that N64 Mario Party glove Nintendo offered for people who had hurt themselves?

I always kinda wanted one....they're prolly on eBay, I haven't checked.

The mini game in Mario Party where you had to light the lightbulb by peddaling a bicycle to repel a boo was such a bitch. I loved seeing the imprints of the N64 analog stick in my friends' palms.

Blisters usually just need time to heal on their own. Keep a blister clean and dry and cover it with a bandage until it goes away. While it heals, try to avoid putting pressure on the area or rubbing it.

I got that from google. btw quit pressing so hard. Last blister I had from gaming was NES and Super Mario 3. Two weeks straight I played that game for 8 hours or so a day me and my sister both could barley handle a fork or penicl after that ordeal.
