Dude, that's nothing considering even the Japanese boxart was pretty much the same. Whereas the US cover for Final Fantasy III was a bigger pisser. You'll see why:

I remember going to a friend of my brothers house and playing this, I can't remember it it was just rediculous or fun or both. I have played worse thats for sure but definetly if you can get a copy it probably be worth it.
 
I seem to remember Anticipation (NES) having embarassingly cheesy people on the cover, but am too lazy to look for/direct link an image of it. That's definitely the worst I've owned.

Worst Box art? Look no further than the horribly generic and awful 360 game Haze. I saw this and thought, can they make this any more of a generic FPS?

Trying to find a pic. It's the guy with the yellow honeycomb helmet on the front.

Edit: To clear things up, I am not talking about the actual game. Im just talking about impressions I got from the box art. Could be a good game, not sure, but the cover art gave me the impression of it being extremely generic.

Yeah I thought the same when I saw Timeshift. Both look extremely generic to me.

What was that 360 game that was supposed to be out at launch and on the cover it had a guy wearing sunglasses? It ended up being cancelled. Frame City Killer, or something like that? That was some bad box art also if Im remember correctly.

lol, man I remember that game in the arcades. The home ports made a bad game even more awful. The guy in the chains looks like he's wearing a diaper.

Yes, both posts have what I consider to be pretty good artwork as well. But while most of the ones in the first one are pretty good, all of the ones in the second one are amazing. I do question that boxart for KA, though. That's kinda creepy, having just a foot and a mosquito on a box. Those DS boxes are sporting some pretty good art too.

And that picture of The Third World War...that's nuts. Saddam looks kind of like Big Boss, doesn't he?
