Thanks. I was going take the summer to veg, but apparently I have to take a bunch of tests to be certified as a teacher and they are expensive. So now I have a job and tests to study for >
Hey, I'm a person.
Only people with souls count here subby.
I got a B in my World History class for the semester. Not too excited about it. I could've done some work and got an A but I slept through the class so I guess I got what I deserve. Also took an exam in my US History class today. Don't think I did too good but oh well.
Me and two friends pitched in and bought an NES. Picked up Duck Hunt/Mario, Ice Hockey, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles(The 2nd one), and Final Fantasy. Everything works great and we played until 7 am. I woke up to go take my US HIS final and the first thing I heard was, "DUDE THEY'RE WEAK TO ICE!" Good times...
Only people with souls count here subby.
Then ing shut down the whole OTT.
Oi, it's happening again.. After /b/ caused Firefox to crash, CAG's screwing up again. Posts are all raw HTML and smilies don't work unless I manually type them out. But it works fine in IE. x_x
Isn't it wonderful?
Yes, all I have to do is get a 50 on a test that has 30% extra credit on it and I'll pass. Of course it's not multiple choice so that sucks. But I'll study when I get there 30 minutes early.
That's a fun word. However, when sub uses it, it seems... dirty... somehow.
That's because it was supposed to be. Notice the spelling.

And what happens if you get caught in traffic? THEN YOU'RE SCREWED!
Note to self, if I ever have to lay siege to a well-fortified ancient city in Sicily, just do what Harald the Viking would do: attach some mini torches to birds, light them up, and let them go. They go right back to their nests under the eves of the thatch roof buildings and burn them real good. Then all you have to do is stab or bludgeon the panicked citizens as they run out.

So is the dinosaurs dvds out yet or whats the deal? That show that used to come on fox with the live action puppets funny as hell.
They are suppose to be out but i can seem to find any store that has them.
Bestbuy.com says it was just released today, perhaps you'll have to wait a few days since it isn't a big ticket item.
And what happens if you get caught in traffic? THEN YOU'RE SCREWED!
What do the exams cover?
hah, I take the shuttle and leave an hour early so if I'm caught in traffic more study time. It didn't matter in the long run. I did pretty well and know I got more than a 50.
It was Contemporary Thinking in Astronomy. It covered like Big Bang and inflation and epochs and all that shit.
I just did my Stage Craft final project in 30 minutes...
I just skimmed your post and for a second, I thought your teacher let you play Starcraft as your final exam. The second thing I thought was that whoever you were playing against must really suck if he died after only a 30min game.

You should know better than to go to /b/. That section is where all the weirdos congregate. Of course, /e/, /s/, and /u/ are the places to go.

Picked mine up at CC, though I didn't see multiple copies (as it was mixed in their TV season DVD's, so it may have been one of the few that they got. The weird thing is the $5 giftcard that's supposed to come up didn't exactly come up during the checkout, so I had to show her that it was supposed to come with a giftcard.

I wouldn't put that past my college, to have a final as pointless as a Starcraft match... However, my instructor is one of the few instructors whom know how to teach -- but he is a PC gaming nerd.

Well, I had a professor that would probably allow that. Of course, it would likely require me to something akin to writing an agent that adapts its actions using heuristics and a knowledge base to be able to able to defeat that game's AI, and then switch it to another different, yet similar, game and be able to adapt to best it's AI as well.
What is it about Ebay that makes people go dumb. I can kind of understand the recent selling prices for FF7 and Silent Hill due to the fact that demand has increased despite the fact they aren't as readily available anymore. But why the hell is the Silent Hill Experience going for around $30 plus shipping when you can get it from just about any online video game retailer for $20? It makes no SENSE!!!!
Does anyone know where I can get a cheap domain to publish a website? I'm thinking about getting one to publish stuff from our honeymoon and such.
Hah! If Starcraft was my senior final, I would've graduated college in a year's time.
What about godaddy? I'm a complete noob to all of this stuff. I'm going to be creating the sit using iweb and I want to publish it straight from there. Apparently you can do that with godaddy. is there anything i should watch out for?
Well, I guess you're smarter than me... my last semester at school conisted of 7800, 8500, 4200, and 6000 level courses as a undergrad.
I'm an underachiever, what can I say. I did the minimum I needed.

I would have failed -- never played.

I guess if all you want is a domain name, then you can use a service like GoDaddy.com. HostOnce.com provides webspace with a free domain name, if you'd rather have you own server.
If it's just for a honeymoon, might as well go with a free server and buy a domain name, if you really want a dot com.
Do your doctoral thesis on zerg rushing noobs?
Haha, no. My dissertation would've been about the benefits of Battlecruisers versus other races.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is it when your own family doesn't know what race you are?
Depends. Is this family member blood related or by marriage? If by blood, then 11. If by marriage, then 2.
Wait, your own grandma doesn't know what she is? s
She knows what she is but apparently she's a little hazy when it comes to me. I went to go visit my grandfather in the hospital today. When I walked in the room she not only didn't recognize me, she thought I was Japanese, despite the fact there is absolutely no Japanese in my our ancestry.

In general I would have said 3, because who really gives a ?

Yeah, I think subbie's got the right idea. I'm guessin' she's on the road to senility. It happens.

Probably right. The most important part my visit I didn't mention was that my grandfather is doing okay.
