Big Brother 8 - Who's in?

Holly shit, last night was fucking crazy!!!!

SHOWTOO Spoilers...Must read :D
Jameka won the POV and used it to get Jen off the block, according to Dick, Jen used Jameka's religious beliefs to get her to use the POV. She appearently didn't say thank you to Jameka when it was used on her. Dick and Jen got into an argument....then later in the kitchen, Jen tells Dick "atleast I have morals, I don't cheat on people or steal engaged guys from their women"...she was referring to Daniele...Daniele was in the kitchen making food and she looked pissed, Dick cussed her out and walked to the backyard. Dick and Nick were outside, Daniele calls out Jen and asks her why she hates her so much when she hasn't done anything to her or talk bad about her...Jen says that she's tried being friends with her but Daniele always gives her the cold shoulder. Daniele tells her that she thinks that she's jeleous about her friendship with Nick and that she needs to get over her insecurities...Dick and Nick hear yelling from the backyard and run in, Nick first, cusses out Jen "WHAT THE fuck ARE YOU DOING BITCH, GET THE fuck OUT, NO ONE LIKES YOU, LEAVE HER ALONE", then Daniele tells Nick to stop, that she can handle it...they continue to bicker, then Dick shows up as Jen says "I tried to be your friend..." Dick interups "why would she want to be a friend to a piece of shit?, you're a horrible human being...etc."...Daniel tells him to stop...then Jen brings up Nick and her boyfriend and says I have morals, I don't cheat and you crossed the line with Nick and you stole your boyfriend while he was engaged to another woman...Daniele told her to shut up, that she doesn't know the story and its none of her buisness, Dick walks up behind her and spills his Iced Tea all over her head...yes it was awesome...Jen ofcourse just smiles, Daniele looked pissed but she smiled at what her dad did and walked away. Dick goes outside, then Jen says, "too bad we can't all be 12", Nick goes up to her and says "WTF DID YOU SAY BITCH? GET THE fuck OUT YOU fuckING BITCH, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TALK SHIT BEHIND HER BACK", Jen then said, "she talked to me first, and the 12 year old comment was towards Dick since he spilled his drink on me", then Nick goes "I DONT fuckING CARE, GET THE fuck OUT YOU fuckING BITCH NO ONE WANTS YOU, WHY DON'T YOU EVICT YOURSELF VOLUNTARILY?" and walks away...

Hard to see what's going on with the rest of the house at this point, but Nick was put up as replacement for Jen, they are planning on backdooring him. Amber hates Daniele now, because Daniele told Amber that she wanted to tell Nick the truth about why they put him up.

Anyways, it was fucking good for a good 2hrs...lots of emotions running in the house...Can't wait to see what happens next.

Woah that sounds crazy. I wonder how much of that will make it into tonights episode on CBS. Thanks for the updates since I don't have showtime.

Damn. That would have been worth the monthly fee for Showtime right there! I hope they show some of it tonight on CBS...
"God is so gangsta"

WTF?
Ha! I didn't catch that the first time!

Kail better go home.
Nope.
Well, I guess they wouldn't have time to edit that into today's episode. I'm sure they'll show it...I mean, how can they not, that was badass!

Oh my god Jen is so hot. I hate her as a person but my goodness she has a body on her that just won't quit. I have watched BB since 2nd season and I am a sucker for this crap. The British version is slightly better though.
Damn I wish I could have seem that. Does anyone else think Eric might be caught voting against the house anytime soon?
No, there are too many other people who have been caught in lies to start pointing the finger at him...yet. I have a feeling though, when it goes south for Eric, it's going to go fast and in flames.

Dude, Dick is the most honest player ever but then he is such an assh*** too. He is mean to Jen and half the time she doesn't deserve it. I think he should be punished somehow if he really poured a drink on Jen. I hope Eric wins he is the best player in the house but I think the America's choice thing is gonna screw him up. I CAN"T STOP STARING @ JEN :)

Yeah I agree. This week everyone will probably figure the odd vote out is Jen if he's forced to vote against the house.

I can't believe 'I'd do that for a dollar!' won over 'Sweet Chicken!' I love how he just flat out told Dick he was trying to start up a house catch phrase to get him on board and say it.

I think Jameka made herself a target last night. You can't have someone in an alliance that is this much of a wild card. It didn't hurt too bad this time, but something like that could easily throw a serious monkey wrench into things in the future. She may have just set herself up to be the 5th one out after Kail, Zach, Nick, Jen (and maybe Dick before her as well since he just makes thing miserable for people.)

You don't think Dustin is a target now, after his bone-head plays during the veto competition?
You don't think Dustin is a target now, after his bone-head plays during the veto competition?
True, he did cheese off some people. Personally I'd think having someone who makes random choices is more dangerous.

I'm hoping for a double eviction of Dick and Danielle soon. Both of them are scum.

I hope Jen wins HoH again just so she can make Dick miserable for another week.

Why does everyone get pissed when someone actually decides to play the game? When Jen took that wild guess in the veto competition how could anyone get mad at her? If she didn't get it right she wasn't going to win the POV so why not take a shot? I seriously doubt she just wanted to answer wrong so Jameka would win (if so, she would have buzzed in right away plus I don't think she was thinking like that). Even if she did throw the question to get Jameka to win so what? Everyone got pissed because she did something to try and stay in the game. It makes no sense.

Well, she did say "safety" when the image clearly showed two hands reaching upwards with powerlines...

I don't know how anyone could have come up with safety. At the VETO ceremony, she also said "I believe that everything happens for a reason", that was to basically remind Jameka that she needs to stick to her word because God wants her to.

I loved how they were messing around with the backround music last night...Church music for Kail, Jameka, and Amber, and Rock music for Dick...that was pretty funny. I can't wait to see how much Amber cries when she gets kicked out of the house, she probably won't even be able to talk to Julie. She's the person in the house I just can't stand...then its Jameka with her whole theory about God pulling her ball so that she could win it for Jen ...

I loved Dick's comment about how God has better things to do then worry about the ping-pong ball that gets pulled out of the bag. I really can't stand all of these God-loving reality contestants that seem to be all over the place.

I'd like to see Kail gone, I don't like her. I think my favorite has to be Dick.

I don't really see why everyone was pissed that Dustin took the rewards.

Everyone was mad at Dustin because they were jealous. There was no reason to be mad at him. They have 4 targets this week. It wasn't like Jen was the only Target they had.

If everyone votes for Nick, i'm sure America wants Kail out again so thats going to screw Eric a bit more. I think Dick is going to be searching more for who the vote was.

I think Jen's guess was a good move. Sure the guess was shitting but I think she made an honest attempt. She could either Not Guess at all and Lose, Guess and get it wrong and lose, or guess and get it right to win. Why not take a guess?

Yeah the alliance is totally fucked...At the beginning of Dustin's run as HOH, they state that they need to get rid of all 4, doesn't really matter what order as long as they go...then he doesn't fight for the power of veto, which still means that one of them will be leaving and then everyones like "WTF I hate Dusting, selfish bastard..."

Its pure jelousy..."Ja-Ja-Jameka could have used the money *sob* but she didnt' take it..." - Amber

Also what's up with Jameka being super religious and then disrespecting God by calling him "Gangsta"?

Like I said before I think Dick will just be even more convinced that the wrong way voter is Jen. Unless Jen is really crafty and also votes against the house to show that it's not just her. That's an iffy play though.

Yeah I have to agree about everyone getting mad at Dustin. But you have to play to the people you are in with and it seems pretty clear that they are a bunch of whiners. I think maybe D+D were upset because that meant once again both Jen and Kail might avoid eviction after both being put up. Kind of ridiculous that the whole reason that was a problem is because Kail decided she was ordained to take Jen off the block if she won the veto. Pretty sure basically everyone else in the house finds that ridiculous but nobody really wanted to say anything (besides Dick) as it would just piss off Jameka.

I want to see more Jessica on the show. She's a trip. Two episodes or so back the best bit of the show for me was when she yelled out "I agree Amber!!" during Amber and Dick's big argument about whether you love your dog as much as your kid/would die for your dog.

It's kind of a dopey thing to say but I didn't really have a problem with it. I think she meant it in the way that God hits you in ways you don't expect. i.e. God works in mysterious ways.
The show on CBS is not nearly long enough. I wish they'd show more chaos like they do on SHO.
2nded. I'd definitely watch an hour every night on CBS. And I know I said the SHO thing sounds like it would be boring as hell but in reality I know I'd be watching it ever day if I got Showtime.

It has its ups and downs...last night was a total downer...nothing happened...I thought that with all the drama that occured a couple days ago, that for sure it would have kept going, but everyone was in the kitchen playing some game with the Memory Wall, they would hide keys in different peoples pictures and then everyone would try to guess who has what key, the person with the most keys wins...I guess when there's no TV/Radio/Internet, you gotta do what you gotta do. Nick and Daniele are the only ones not participating, seems that they are trying to spend as much time together since they know Nicks time is short...They did
start totally making out last night in bed
They did

D's boyfriend at home has got to be going apeshit! I wonder if he subscribes to all the live feeds and Showtime just so he can watch her every move. I'm sure whatever trust they had before she went on the show is pretty much dissolved by now.
It would be tough for CBS to edit together a "live" show every single day... but I'd definitely watch it.
why would it be tough? they do it on the British BB. there is a show EVERYDAY except saturday
why would it be tough? they do it on the British BB. there is a show EVERYDAY except saturday
I'm guessing they don't edit it though because there is no FCC over there. CBS would have to go through everything and edit out the swears and stuff, plus make it somewhat cohesive.

They did the everyday thing in season 1 (well I think it was 6 out of 7 days of the week) but one of the shows was a weekly recap and I think only one or two had live bits.

Anyone see the episode last night with the HoH competition? They had to halt it because a plane flew over with a banner vaguely outing Eric as the America's Choice player. Dick knows 100% that Eric voted the wrong way the last two times, because they thought it was Nick the first time it happened and it happened again when Nick could not vote (because he was on the block). While it could have been Jen for all Dick knows, he's dead set that Eric did it.

You'd think after 8 seasons the idiots producing that show would have come up with a big white rollaway tarp (like a circus tent) to put up for when planes fly over. The producers' ignorance basically ruined a player's chance in the game and blew their little twist up in CBS's face.

Eric's done. The only funny part will be when Jen and Kail get a free pass again and one of them gets HoH and goes after Dick and his rotten little daughter.

^^ Put that sort of stuff in spoilers. I stopped reading midway through the first sentence.

I think last night's America's Challenge vote made it pretty clear that America will get to choose at least one of the nominees if and when Eric wins HOH. My guess is that America will choose one and Eric will choose the other. That could really screw him, but I suppose in most situations he could just claim an odd nomination choice is being put up there as a pawn.

"I'd do that for a dollar." wasn't mentioned at all during last night's episode that I noticed. I guess either BB only gave Eric a day or two to get it done or he gave up.

They are definitely editing the show together to make Jen a sympathetic figure and Dick look like a royal ass. Pouring his drink on Jen was a jackass move. Then his laugh at Julie's suggestion to apologize. Whatever. They're also showing stuff to make Jameka look a little bit like a jerk (her confession room comment about Kail being good to keep around because she keeps the dishes clean and straight w/ a few laughs thrown in here and there as well...) but then she did say that in the confession room, it's not like they are pulling little bits randomly from a long day.

Nobody started screaming about who the 2nd vote was immediately last night, but I wonder if people figured it might have been Danielle so they decided to be calm about it at least right at first. Dick is the most likely to immediately start crowing about something like that and he wouldn't want to call out Daniele if it was her so that could have been what held him back anyway.

I've done a complete 180 on Jen. She is playing pretty good so far and doesn't let Dick or Daniele bother her at all. It's amazing that she's still around since there's so much open hatred towards her. Could you imagine if Dick yelled at Amber and dumped the drink on her instead of Jen? She'd have killed herself.

I also liked how Daniele voted for Nick - she's cold. What I don't understand about her is that she could have easily gotten enough people to keep him there and break up the LNC if they wanted. I also can't believe that Dick didn't see the benefit of keeping him around - they had a super tight 3 person alliance they could have ridden to the end. Stupid move on their part. They could have had Zach, Daniele, Dick, Eric (since he had to and was campaigning for it) and Jessica (by extension of Eric) - plus Amber since "she loved him sooooooooo much." Easy.

Some spoilers:
If you watched the show last night on Showtime (I didn't but my wife did) supposedly Eric got outed somehow - she thought it was a plane or something with a sign attached that flew overhead (WTF?). Anyway, Eric is scrambling and I heard Jessica talking to someone (I was trying to sleep) saying "I had no idea" or something along those lines. Daniele won HOH barely beating out Kail so if she and Dick believe Eric is the random voter then I can see him going up on the block. This completely sucks for Eric because I think he is a great player that could go far but forcing him to vote against the house is clearly going to sacrew him over.

Good points javery. Does seem like they could have flipped the vote around.

I'm not sure if Amber would have gone for it, but the others seem likely.

Dick and Daniele were stupid for voting Nick out. Sure, there's emotional tension between the 3, but they are a good alliance. Not sure why the fuck Dick didn't vote for Kail, since he hates her so much.
Good points javery. Does seem like they could have flipped the vote around.

yeah, Amber would be an iffy vote but they still would have had 5 and I think that's all they needed. Plus, NO ONE likes Kail (except for Jen but only because she has nobody else to count on). I'm really surprised they didn't keep Nick the more I think about it - in Survivor I can see stuff like this going down because there's not much time to campaign and there's nowhere to go for privacy but in BB you get like a week to think about things so people should be more strategic anbd methodical with what they try and accomplish. I guess that's what you get putting 15 morons in a house though...

Dick is a major problem in the house regarding strategy because he seems to be dictating everything and only cares about who he perceives as being as open about everything as he is. He jumps from target to target each week without regard for who he can string along until it's time to let go. For example, it seems pretty clear that
Eric is his new target for next week but he shouldn't be because him and Eric are tight and will vote together (ignoring for a minute how Eric has no choice in how he votes) until it's no longer advantageous for them to do so - that time has not come yet.

And of course I bet Jen would have voted with the majority even if it was Kail going down. And Amber and Dustin (even though he didn't get a vote) may have grudgingly agreed to vote out Kail if that was the writing on the wall to avoid being seen as on the outside of the LNC. Same deal with Jameka.

Big alliances are fun because there are always sub alliances.

My favorite was Jase's first season where four of them were really tight in a Four Horseman alliance, but one other guy thought they were actually a 5 man alliance called the Baker Town Boys (or something like that.) They had a confessional with the real 4 where they were all laughing about it and carrying on. It was hilarious.

I feel the exact same way.
Because the house was affected by outside influence(Plane Banner) It basically makes the whole season void. The whole point of the Show is that there is no outside contact and the banner ruined that. Eric had a Smooth game going untill the damn plane. Although America's voting is also to blame for making Eric vote for the wrong people twice in a row. A combination of America Voting wrong and the banner have really messed this season up for Eric.

Although,
I have the live feeds and the Showtime thing and from the looks of it, even if the Veto is Used and Eric is put on the block he has the votes and Kail will be evicted

There is absolutely no reason why there is no tarp or tent over the Backyard to prevent plane banners from being seen. CBS is making a big mistake. Now that people see that banners can affect the game, there will be a floodgate opened of banners offering Strategic advice.

I really feel like Eric should be able to change his vote to match the house if his game might be compromised. It only makes sense since He is america's player you'd think they would want him to play the game as perfect as possible. Voting against the house is no good idea.

Yep

Does Eric get a point towards his money for following the America's vote? If so, then he should get to choose. If not, that's just dumb.

I just saw the banner. That's fucking stupid, and really pisses me off. I'd go as far as to say it's ruined the season for me, since it'll probably ruin Eric.

Yeah, this is fucking bullshit. That banner totally influenced the game. That's bullshit. I have 0 interest in the rest of this season now that the whole basis of the show has been compromised. A big fuck you to CBS and whoever sent that banner.
