PCgirl.:bouncy:

Well my halfpricebooks already got Monster Quest in for 6.98 - I picked it up because I couldn't wait. They also had Lost Crown for 6.00 which is an absolutely steal for a great horror adventure game.
Fair warning--it also has Starforce copy protection.
What does this mean? I have to have the disc in the drive when I play, which is kind of annoying. Is that it?

I also scored Taito Legends 2, and it's awesome. Runs like a dream on my laptop, I've been playing Nastar, Cadash, Elevator Action Returns, all kinds of crazy arcadey beat-em-ups. Did Taito Legends 1 ever get dumped on Big Lots? I totally want that too, it has Rastan on it! But I can't seem to find it online for less than $15. I know, blah-blah-emulation-blah, but IMO Taito put together a neat interface and tons of facts and extras (arcade cabinet pictures, sales flyers, etc.) so it's something I'd like to own.

Starforce is a really, really nasty form of copy protection that has been shown to really screw up people's computers if you're unlucky. (and no, it's MUCH beyond simply needing the disc in the drive to play)
http://www.glop.org/starforce/
Thankfully most publishers have stopped using it, but it's still out there on older games.

My store doesn't seem to get any game shipments these days. Nothing since...well, maybe this past spring/summer. I did grab a few anime films like Afro Samurai and Robotech for $3, but the remnants of games that they do have (maybe 3 games, with educational/utility software) have been there for ages. And they aren't good ones.

I was in Saturday (3/14) and was able to snag Viva Pinata, F.E.A.R. expansion, Stranglehold, and TOCA 3 for six dollars apiece. They also had Space Siege, Freedom Force, Trains, and several other new titles that I don't remember.

Hell to the yes. I got FEAR Perseus Mandate to round out my FEAR collection (Extraction Point is terrible, by the way. FEAR without soul.), also got Viva Pinata and The Club. Saw Stranglehold and a bunch of other crap that didn't sell in mainstream stores.

I got Viva Pinata and Club mostly because $6 for a game and a 1 month Live card isn't a bad deal.

Anyone seen the new batch of games on the West Coast?? I visited my stores the other day and still nothing...
I also saw a new batch of the same games at my local BL...still no Loki Collector's Edition :(
I'm unable to check out the other two Big Lots in my area, but the one I hit up that had the new shipment had no Loki.

If you're still searching for 2 Worlds. I saw the Ultimate Edition for PC at Target Clearance for $14

It's got all of the expansions bundled with it.
RollingSkull, are you on the West or East coast? I'm waiting for Viva Pinata to hit the West. :)
Middle America, babeh. Oklahoma.

Cool. Went tonight and found Iron Man ($6) and Rag Doll Kung Fu ($4). Saw Stranglehold, Tiger Wood 07 and Space Siege --- tho, no sign of Viva Pinata.
Hey, I'm in Tulsa, where are you?
OK, now, suddenly all the Okies appear... ;)

Maybe we should discuss in the OK thread which locations we've been to and what we saw...could save a lot of us some legwork and/or gas.

No Targets near me at all, but i was able to get Two Worlds at Big Lots a month or two ago :) Really hoping Loki is in the next shipment and i can get a copy.
Is Two Worlds even worth it? Most of my Targets have it on clearance.
They released a lot of updates/patches for it, adding new things along with bugfixes. For $6 at Big Lots, i'd say go for it, it's not Oblivion (which it was compared to at the time of release by some) but it's a good game.

If I didn't already have a copy (of 2 worlds) from BL for $6, I'd spring for the $14 version (from Target). It's the equivalent of the obliv goty version, vs. original. Lots of expansions and stuff added to the ult edition.

Is it still Starforce protected?

Looks like new shipment has arrived on the West Coast. Picked up Viva Pinata, Roogoo, The Club, Defender of the Crown, Toca Race Driver 3, and Swashbucklers Blue Vs. Grey.

We shipped two massive loads again this week. I'll post both the $ 4.00 and $ 6.00 title list tommorow.

Pcgirl.
awesome! Can't wait to hear what's in them.

Meanwhile, no luck finding Viva Pinata after 3 Big Lots.
Viva Pinata went into every box. So is you see the new load has arrived and VP is not on the shelf, someone snagged it.

We have enough to ship them one more time, so I'll ask the rep to make sure it gets in.
Anyone able to snag and extra Viva Pinata for me? I'll pay for it plus shipping!
I can check my Big Lots today, i saw a copy when i was there last time.

EDIT: Any other requests? So long as you cover cost + shipping, i don't mind getting these.

D'OH I have to get out and see what's left @ the local BL.
Thanks for the heads up!

As for *-Force on 2-worlds, I have no idea. It sure sux if that is the case though. :whistle2:I

Got Viva Pinata, The Club ( both have 1 month Live Gold cards, usable for xbox 360), Dwice (small game made by the creator of Tetris), and a Sherlock Holmes game.

I'll snag Universe at War if I can in the next shipment. Remember, the cards included in the older Games For Windows Live titles are labeled for use with the Windows version of Live, which Microsoft made free a while back. But it works just like a month card for Xbox Live, which is the only use for the card now. So use them to extend your Xbox Live Gold subscription, or give them to someone who can use them.

Also, you can play those games for windows LIVE titles under your Xbox 360 gamertag and get achievement points just like the xbox versions.

I'll also get Hidden Expedition Everest if I can find a copy, also Monopoly 2008, Clue Classic, and maybe Jeopardy Deluxe.
