When it goes live, you can expect there to be a period of maybe 3-5 minutes where it does apply before it gets shut down. I almost got in on an epic deal but was just seconds too late last year. Place orders fast rather than grab multiple games ha.

I remember Best Buy having the same BF deals a little while later with GCU working.

Same.....I did play at least one or 2 I bought....out of like 6 or 7 haha. I'll still get some. Honestly i'm looking more forward to Demon Gaze 2....as my likely only full price purchase in November except for maybe a CoD or Star Wars Battlefront 2 (honestly just looking for a different multiplayer game).

Normally that's the case for me, but I don't even think I found a single thing for me last year, just a few items for my son. Hopefully this year is better, but not counting on it.

So many games to buy..basically been holding off all year waiting for BF to come around..Im not an elite member but I am a GCU member so hopefully they will allow the 20 percent additional discount..also looking to get a macbook pro 2017 this year really hoping for a good deal will be my first mac

It's the same formula for Black Friday every year; expect every recentish release (Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, 2K18 sports games etc) to be $30 or $35. Games from earlier in the year to be $20. And some oddball reductions on titles that just didn't sell or were overordered etc.

 
With so many games being released in the next 2 weeks, will be easy to hold off on ass creed origins, evil within and maybe wolfenstein 2 for 30- 35 on Black Friday
 
did Gold/Deluxe Edition games ever put on sale on Black Friday? I know vanilla always on sale but I'm drawing blank on other editions

Last year when Rainbow Six Siege was on sale at Target I grabbed the gold edition and it rang up the black Friday vanilla version price.

Also even though gcu didn't work on black Friday at Best Buy it did work during the preview sale that where the same prices and maybe cyber Monday? Hoping to gett Horizon Zero Dawn, Forza Horion 3 or Need For Speed Payback or both, and a force feedback racing wheel.

There were multiple times through December where GCU stacked with lower than Black Friday prices, quite maddening.

Anything that I want I might get through the early preview sale then if it goes cheaper in December I'm elite so I could pm or buy and return. Also hoping for a sale on Pokken Tournament DX with the other games I listed. :D
 
I'm just waiting for a solid B2g1 deal on games from anywhere. I want the new south park, Mario odyssey and I'm sure I can think of a 3rd.

Looking for a price drop on the new uncharted game as well.

There's a few 3ds games I want but won't pay retail for. Yokai watch and pikmin. Hopeful those might get a drop.

Overall I don't want a ton because I've been steady keeping up with releases I wanted. I'd like a second ps4 because my launch day one is scaring me with its age. I'd like a new TV (mine is cheap af and I can't even see anything in dark caves in skyrim for example) but if I upgrade I'm gonna go for a nice 4k screen. Which means if I bother to get a new ps4 I'll probably want the pro...
 
Yeesh, they barely got the Christmas decorations out before we got this thing posted!

IDK that there is anything console-side I want this year. If Best Buy starts putting used games on its site again, I would be interested in a few games at a discout in a B2G1, like the Xenoverse games and Titanfall 2​. However, I'll mostly be watching Steam sales this year.

What I want to get most is computer hardware. Best Buy had a great deal a couple years back of 50% off Logitech stuff, so I'd like to see them put the G903 down to sub-$100 or Amazon to get the G900 to $75 or so (got the G700s for $50 at BB during their last big sale). Also hoping we have good hardware sales for computer parts, as I've been dying to get a Ryzen PC built. IF the sales get good enough, I'd like to pick up a VR headset as well (and burn through my Steam credit).
