I looked at K Mart's leaked BF ad and my heart skipped a beat when I saw Assassin's Creed Bloodlines Entertainment Pack w/Assiassins Creed II for PS3 priced at $199.

Sounds like a new PS3 holiday bundle with the first and second AC and a PS3 for $199!

Then I looked at the scanned ad and it's actually a PSP bundle for AC: Bloodlines and then the PS3 AC2 game for a grand total of $199... I didn't play AC before so it didn't immediately register that Bloodlines was the PSP version...

From their lay away faq:
Except where prohibited by law, there will be no price adjustments after 7 days from the date you start your layaway. Multiple price adjustments on the same items are not permitted. Price adjustments are not allowed on seasonal or clearance merchandise.

Does black friday count as seasonal?
If it does then it's all fail.
If it doesn't, then you have to put it on layaway 7 days before.

I work at the Westgate Target in San Jose, CA. This next bit is only if you live in my area... and I do work in the section all of you love (Electronics).

If you spot any deals ahead of time (I won't do your searching for you, sorry - I work when I'm at work) and let me know via private message, I can keep something on hold for you on Black Friday. I won't have my schedule for Black Friday until probably the 14th of November, so fingers crossed that I get a morning shift - otherwise I'd have to go in early and put it on hold for you - which I'm perfectly willing to do, provided you're nice about asking.

Then again, I'm not sure if we even DO holding on black friday, so there's an interesting concept I'll have to ask my boss about.

Anyways, my basic statement is that if you want me to help you get something I can probably help you get it as long as my supervisor gives me the go-ahead. Also, if I get flooded with requests, I'm limiting it to the first five I get. So, you know - if you live in San Jose, talk to me earlier rather than later. Hugs.

Go to the stores? You'd have to camp out overnight. You're not missing anything other than a headache.

Just stay in and shop on Amazon. They price match most everybody at some point during the day.

So I just wait all day by the computer refreshing the forum every 10 minutes until i see it? From what I've seen they sell out when they put deals on games pretty quickly. I'm scared I might miss out on this.

There is a kmart one block from my house. That's why I am considering just waiting in line. Dont know what time to get there though.

Get there at least 4 or 5 hours before opening depending on if you live in the sticks or not. The majority of the online deals lasted long enough for everyone to enjoy and Cheapy gave us heads up on a good chunk of Amazon's sale list so we knew what to expect.
