Yes, Old Navy now/will sells video games. Since Old Navy sells Rock Band T-Shirts they will be selling Rock Band software.

Thanksgiving Day (They are open on Thanksgiving if the store is not located in a mall, check with your store for hours since I'm not sure if the hours are the same company wide since this is a trial)
-Purchase Rock Band 2 software are receive a free Rock Band guitar controller. Model unknown, assuming the RB1 model. Approx 10-15 per store, not sure if its 10-15 for each system or all together.

Black Friday (Again hours may vary based on location)
- Free LEGO Rock Band software for the first 50 (approx) in line. You must spend $20 (pre-tax) in order to get this. System(s) of the LRB is unknown.

Kmart looks like it has some good $40 games. L4D2 will only have been out for about a week.5 when Black Friday hits. It shouldn't be too hard to get somethings nice there, because Kmart is a ghost town 99.999999% of the year. That may just move up to 99.999998% when Black Friday comes.

If the Assassin's Creed PSP bundle came with the white PSP, it'd make more sense to pay the $199 premium. If you buy the Rock Band PSP bundle at Wal-Mart, assuming it's marked down and available in your area, and purchase Assassin's Creed 2 with the Amazon using the $5 off promo that comes with a $10 credit, the price would be near identical without having to fight crowds on Black Friday.

I'm hoping Amazon will match a bunch of these game deals come late Thursday night or Friday morning.

I also don't believe this year's Black Friday will be anywhere close to last year's. If anything, each retailer will have one major deal to get people into the stores. Once you arrive, and that "golden goose" is gone, they hope you'll be content buying whatever junk they have left.

I've already bought more games with the B2G1 free offers (Best Buy, Toys R US, Amazon, Target) than I have the last 2 or 3 Black Friday's combined.

Walmart and Amazon are the only two retailers that may blow us away with a deal or two (Walmart has already done that with the XBox360 Arcade bundle with $100 GC on November 7th). Otherwise, you'll be lucky to get a $60 game for $40 (which is in essence what the retailers have already done with the B2G1 free promotions; $60+$60+0 = $40 a game).

I hear Black Friday this year is called "The Event" at least where my mom works it's called that.

Hope to see some great sales going on! I remember going out one year, and standing outside for I think 4 hours (It didn't even feel like 4 hours, felt like it was less). I thought it was fun, and it was pretty cool.

I was hoping for some cheaper deals on games that weren't just released last month, from Gamecrazy. Didn't they have something like $10 Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Brother's in Arms HH last year + more? I usually like to pick up the decent games on Black Friday that are 3 months old + and no longer in the spotlight.

They are changing the way (Wal-Mart) is handling black friday because of the situation that occured last year with a person dying as a door greeter or something along those lines.

I don't have any details outside of Wal-Mart will reveal It's pricing on their website Monday the week of Black Friday. So all will be revealed then (legally).

Keep in mind that these deals are the deals that run ALL weekend.. GC has not announced it's BF-only and doorbuster deals yet. You're likely to see some pretty good deals, especially doorbuster deals. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Fight Night at $9.99 for a doorbuster deal.

Game Crazy is also opening at 5am this year (Compared to 7am last year). In unrelated news, fuck my life.

I agree that not being able to find the game for your preferred system could be a potential problem (though the game isn't even on PS2, KrayzieKMF). I suggest calling your local store the day before to see if they can tell you what they have available for the sale. Ultimately, I trust that they should have copies for all three consoles, however few. I'll stand out in the cold for a few hours if that means guaranteeing myself the opportunity to pay $20 for Lego Rock Band plus some extra clothes (albeit Old Navy design/quality).
