Sam's Club spoiler says PS3 bundle is 299, but every other website that speaks of the Sam's Club PS3 bundle says it is 399... Which one is right???
 
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure about this. I don't think stores with a price match policy do it on black friday. They also don't price match their own deals. For example, I can't buy Dragon Age: Origins now for $59.99 and walk in on Black Friday to get my price adjusted. Think about it, if Best Buy (or anywhere else) price matched these deals there would be no reason to actually be at the store at 8 am.

Best Buy and walmart around here always PM black friday deals. You are correct about buying now and pming later not working though. My local best buy closes down it's customer service area during BF so you can't do any return/rebuys. But you can PM at the registers.

Well, I have experiences that they DON'T where I live. At 9-10am they all still there!

It also depends on where you live too it's directly related to Population!

BIG cities (New York, DC, LA), yeah, probably that's true they will be sold out, but not at a smaller city!


Keep in mind, everyone in THIS thread is from different cities (At least hopefully) so just because 800 people here want the SAME thing, does NOT mean that's true where you live!
 
I know that there probably won't be alot out there, but does anybody know if there are any deals on PS2's? I just had to get rid of my 20GB PS3 with it's B/C since it crapped for good on me, and the slim I have dosn't have B/C.

Man don't even go there I barely play 25% of my games and have a few still wrapped up. That is why I canceled my AC2 pre-oder Amazon for $39 and might return my XBOX 360 I got from walmart with the $100 gc. I just need to be prudent with what I buy for video games because I barely have the time to play what I have.

I'd get the Kmart or Sears one. But thats just me. Best buy's doesnt really appeal to me because those 4 free games arent THAT great. Target's is ok, and Radioshack's is too.

Considering they've been fantastic pricematching promo/sale prices with some B&M retailers more recently (Walmart's $200 360 Arcade/$100 GC - Buy 2 get the 3rd free game, etc. etc.) I'm almost positive they are taking notice of those ads that have leaked.

Obviously there is no guarantee, but I'd be floored if we didn't see some great prices, especially on some of this year's great games. Also don't forget about Cyber Monday ;)

Radioshack would be my first choice too. Followed very close by Target and Sears...I'm sure you'll find a few good deals on Halo ODST before Chirstmas which will make Kmarts deal not as good as the rest. Plus I'm sure Radioshack wont be as crazy as the other stores.
 
anyone have experience with big game sales on BF at BB? want L4d2, but unwilling to camp out for 25 bucks. do they actually sell out of video games at that price quickly?

I have camped out at BB the last 2 years (for items other than video games) but do notice that most games do remain untouched. People tend to go for the bigger ticket items first. My friends who didn't camp out were still able to come in and get items they wanted 30 mins after the store open. I think the biggest factor for you would be how many people line up for your BB and how many of them want L4D2.
 
You guys know the ole trick for best buy, that if a game is on sale on sunday, and if you do in store pick-up on sat at full price, then you go pick it up on sunday it will be auto-adjusted, think that'll work for bf? Order the games we want earlier in the week (You get 7 or 8 days to pick them up...so order monday) and go pick them up friday? Or will they not have in store pickup open while bf is going on?
 
Wow Walmart so far is the store to beat. That's a pretty sweat deal for the PS3. I was really hoping they would go below the $299 price point but the bundle is still good. Does anyone know if the two games are packaged seperatly or in one box? Last year I bought an elite bundle and the two games came in one box. I hope amazon matches the bundle (or does better!) so I dont have to deal with the chaos of black friday. Also do you think I would have to go early (possibly camp out) for the PS3 deal? Is it like they only give a certain number of tickets to people in the line?
 
After looking at TRU's and Best Buy's ad... Amazon, Amazon is going to murder everyone.

It's not that any of these deals are bad per se, but Amazon will match and or beat the hell out of the prices being posted up. I can't wait to see Amazon just hit a magical 'Price Match' button and suck away sales from everyone on friday. Because honestly, I can't be in two places at once and I really want Forza 3 (TRU 34.99) and L4D2 (BB 34.99) so I'm banking on Amazon dropping them both.

The stores near me always put up big signs saying the customer service area will be closed during the morning of Black Friday, probably to prevent that specific thing from occurring. (or anyone trying to PM which they also specifically say won't happen) So I don't think that works.

Best bet is seriously to watch online unless you want a big ticket item. Or find a lesser travelled store, even in big cities there are slower stores. I know one near my work that I happened to be at on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and they had a ton of stuff left, including some Doorbuster deals that they were still honoring-- the next day! I was pretty shocked to see the piles of untouched HDTVs (This was 2 years ago, who knows if the store's been "Discovered" and if they still keep the sales going)

i might get LE for arkham asylum but dont get the resistance 2 ones, believe me, piece a junk! (batman ones also made of plastic, so yeah....!) i wonder if they have any deals on the LE of Tekken 6?!!
