Wow, I feel so much better after seeing this ad, spent all my Best Buy credit today on a guitar and now I don't have to worry about trading in a bunch of my games.

Played 300 hours of Skyrim on 360 and not one game breaking glitch. Other small glitches happened such as walking on air but nothing that loading a save wouldn't fix. As with any RPG or any game for that matter with free unlimited saves. Save often and you won't have a problem.

This Black Friday Im glad the deals are mediocre. This week with launch I spent enough and got good deals with Walmart last week as well. Cant forget the $19 LoU I got two weeks ago as well. Anyways I may buy Blu Rays from a few places on Black Friday but not much else.

Actually most living rooms can easily accomodate it.

Almost 100% of people with HDTVs sit further away than they need to.

You can COMFORTABLY watch an HDTV much closer than an old 480 crt.

A 70 inch tv can easily be watched comfortably from 8 feet away.


Are you saying only rich people have 8 feet of room?
 
$3.99 Blu-rays looking good with 160 titles to choose from, but other than that kinda disappointing. Might get TLOU and Tomb Raider with GCU discount.

 
Somebody needs to give Best Buy a reality check and tell them Walmart & Gamestop have BF4 for $25..

Damn I haven't seen any good deals on Diablo 3 for the Xbox only for the damn PC. And I have no Meijers even remotely near me. I hope their deals are online.

Not on the systems themselves.

But I expected the games to have at least a little bit of price elasticity. Target and Amazon are offering B2G1 this week on PS4 (and supposedly XB1) titles. But I'm seeing nada for Black Friday deals. Not even $50 or $55 PS4/XB1 games.

Kinda disappointed at the lack of good Wii U deals. Expected to see it for $250 somewhere... There's still a couple of places that have yet to release their deals though(Fred Meyer, Amazon).

According to Wikipedia, 8.75 feet is the minimal for 70 inch TV, considering protection for the yes during extended gaming sessions especially if there are children, I would stretch that to at least 10 feet. Considering the typical layout of the living room where this distance being the width, a single family house with this kind of space would range about 600K to 8000K in a decent neighborhood with good schools.

This got me excited for the calculation formula of optimum viewing distance, can't believe I ignored this interesting math problem just because I don't have a big house.

Wow Walmart is being stingy over the $10 games this year, not much of a selection there.
For $15, I'm down for getting Tomb Raider and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I might get Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3, not sure through.
For $25, I'll get Battlefield 3. Maybe I'll get either Call of Duty Black Ops 2 or Injustice too.

The box on the PS3 bundle I picked up last BF showed Infamous and Uncharted in boxes too ... which i was super excited for ... until I opened it and was left with cardboard sleeves. I would bet there's a 90% chance these are in sleeves too ... bummer

 
Overall, I too am disappointed in the deals for this upcoming BF.  Seems like Wal-Mart has the best options (other than Gamestop's sale on PlayStation Plus).

Am I right in assuming that BB will have more games included in their sales than just what is showing in their ad scan? Will be disappointing if that is all. 

saw the box in the ad that mentions finding more games at bestbuy.com/valuegames, but the sight is not active yet. Hope they provide the full list before the day of.

 
First time I don't think I'm going to plan heavily for Black Friday. I've gotten almost all the games I want for $30 or less. Heck, just got Call of Duty: Ghost, BF4 and GTA5 today for $31+ each at Target. These deals are expected but not worth getting.

Going to just do Amazon trade in's and buy online this year. Oh well, better for me and more time with the family. 

Also, 6PM Thursday. fuck that. I will be home waiting for Walmart's / Target 8PM 50in TV deal and than I'm going back home. They really are going to far with this.

Well, if it's like past years, they might have some random unadvertised deals (online and in print ads- they're advertised in store). I dunno though- the random deals weren't normally on games.

Does Walmart do their deals online as well? Really in for FIFA 14 (then send to Amazon, upgrade for One verison) but I am so not ready to go to Walmart at 6pm

My guess is that they're referencing the games in the holiday bins. A fellow CAG has posted most of their contents here.

 
Dunno why everyone is raggin but I'd much rather shop here then horrible walmart.

The 3ds deal is awesome. Def gettin a ton of blus lol. Possibly forza 4 and skyrim for 360.
