i loved tomb raider !!! simmilar to uncharted in some aspects but differint in others. bestbuy gamer unlocked members will get it for 11.99$ after the 20% off which makes it a very good deal

Nope, its been posted many times in this topic that Next-Gen stuff won't have sales, not this year, but hopefully next year at the latest for BF/CM.

Well, don't discount TRU B1G40% off other. It applies to all games, including next gen. Not anywhere as good as Targets current B2G1, but still a deal none the less.

Also, on that note, I am sure Target will have another B2G1 in December. History from when I use to work there is telling me it will probably be on either both Next Gen consoles or just the X1.
 
Any Walmart insiders on here? It would be helpful to get a general estimate of how many 360s will be shipped to each store for BF. I know from past years that the stacks will be in random places, are those locations decided upon by store management or does corporate send each store a floorplan with locations for door busters?

The last few years, Walmart has put a map of each store's deal locations on their website. Maybe it's just my local store, but the map is never correct.

This is true especially since manager's can have employees move pallets around at the last minute. I watched it happen on Thanksgiving last year in the middle of the afternoon while I was getting games out of the case that were already marked down.

I bought Scribblenauts Unmasked for Wii U tonight even though I know it will be on the Black Friday sale for about $5 less because it was the last copy that had the free Green Lantern: Emerald Knights DVD, which is a Walmart exclusive deal, inside the package. From working retail in the past, I can tell you that as long as the SKU numbers on the bar codes that they need to scan to do the return are the same and if you do it within 30 days, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do a return for the full value if you have the original receipt. Where people seem to get denied on things is when they tell the clerk what they're doing. Just present your item and receipt and say you need a return and nothing more. Loose lips sink ships.

Amazon always carries them but they're usually shitty lightening deals that sell out before your finger can press the buy button. Best Buy typically has a billion of these holiday bundles per store. I'm also getting that PS3 bundle, it's a good deal considering those games are selling for $25 each at Walmart on BF. That means that the 250GB console is roughly 150.

Lightning deal? That works for me! I've done it once or twice and was able to get what I wanted. I would be very happy if they sell at less than $199 to beat the competitors.

I would like to know this as well. I live in a pretty small town/area and this is Thanksgiving evening we're talking about so I don't expect the bundles to be sold out or anything but it would still be nice to get to them quickly and not have to worry about it.

I also really would like to know how many 360s each store plans on stacking so I don't have to push children out of the way and beat an old lady to get one.

 
The more I think about it, the more I think I am going to be heading to TRU on Black Friday to finish picking up the PS4 launch line up (games that I would actually play, sorry Madden, NBA, FIFA, and Just Dance). Just need Injustice and Lego Marvel. Should be set!

The store managers outline the placement themselves with help from corporate. Corporate will send a rough idea of the floor-plan and the management team fixes it up to suit the store better. I can give you an update on the quantity of Xbox's being sent when they get here. I know we received about a three pallets of the Skylanders bundle last year so that may give you somewhat of an idea for this year.

EDIT: I seem to remember there being at least half of a pallet left of the SL bundle last year and the sale price was in effect until the Monday following BF. The new bundle is a little more attractive this year so YMMV!!!

I can guarantee you that amazon, newegg, microsoft, sony or other online stores will have xbox 1 games and ps4 games on sale, whether it is a lightning deal, a deal that lasts a few minutes or whatever, there will still be deals

I hate Amazon's lightning deals. I think the only thing I have ever gotten was the Sly colection for $10 last year. Every other time its just the loading screen and then sold out. Sucks that they raised their minimum purchase to $35 for free shiping too.

They didn't do it last year, unless you had an inside with an employee. Obviously, this year will be YMMV. That's why I will sit at home online and will send my mom to the store. She's only pretty old, not really old, so I'm not putting her out too much.
 
There was an Asus laptop in the BB BF preview, but now that I check the ad its not in there... Asus 15" ultrabook that was going for $249. So whats going on with that?

You and me both. I can't stand the way this tradition has been going lately. Last year people were surprised Walmart and the bunch were opening around 8-10PM on Thursday. Now they're opening at 6PM. In a few years we're gonna be seeing sales start on Wednesday and even running all day through Thanksgiving. More states should adopt that law. Seriously.. it's fine if stores want to extend sales throughout the weekend past Black Friday, but don't infringe on my Thanksgiving like that. :whistle2:x

honestly it would be better to have the deals start before thanksgiving rather than on thanskgiving. That way you can stay up the night before go shopping, then come home rest and have some turkey.

I wish people won't go at 6pm so the stores feel stupid for trying to ruin our holiday.
