Watchmen
ZombieLand
The Road
RepoMen
Youth and Revolt
District 9
Michael Jackson: This is It

Tried to mainly get titles Ive been wanting that I didnt already have on dvd. I have 9, Watchemen, Zombieland, and District 9 on dvd so upgrading those. Other 6 havent had yet.

Hope theres some good stuff left Friday when I get paid.

Yeah the sale is live but at my store I had to mention the sale to the associate because there was no advertisement of the sale. he told me that he had an argument with corporate yesterday because they did not want them to advertise the sale and they were requiring people ask about the sale before they could confirm that it was going on. Anyway there was a great selection and if only I did not already own most of them I could have made out like a bandit. Got Ponyo, 9, Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Girl Who Played With Fire and Alice in Wonderland. Pretty good deal.

I put in my zip code in the store locator and only two stores come up - both in RI, none listed in Mass. That can't be right. There has to be some stores in Massachusetts left...

I end up getting gi joe, scott pilgram, superhero movie, both national treasure. scott pilgram is actually kind of rare, the store i go to only have 1 copy.

Dark knight is not part of the sale

Stopped in to my local store on my lunch break...was able to snag Twister, 2012, Dumb & Dumber, Inglourious Basterds, and She's Out of My League. Someone must have hit the store very early because they didn't have much left compared to what the had when I was there on Sunday.

oh my, I'm heading to Blockbuster later today after work, expand my Blu-Ray library :D

correction made, not to cause confusion here :p

This is a topic for a sale at Blockbuster.....................

Store I went to had a pretty good selection. Got both Red Cliffs, 500 days, This is It and Watchmen. Didn't see Coraline which I wanted. Saw a bunch more that wasn't on the OP's list.

I'll hit another one on the way home to see if there is anything else I don't have. Resisting the urge to upgrade from my DVD copies.....

picked up surrogates, red cliff parts 1 and 2, Ice age dawn of the dinos, and whiteout. The woman there made me give her the password too.

Got

9
Scott Pilgrim
Ponyo
Batman: Gotham Knight
500 Days of Summer

$9.99 each except Batman ($6.99)

Remember, this is Blockbuster so don't trust the price stickers OR the employees.

I caved. I caved horribly.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Moon
The Road
Sherlock Holmes
Inglorious Basterds
Green Zone
Cloudy w/ Chance of Meatballs
Red Cliff Pt I & II
The Hurt Locker
District 13: Ultimatum
Valkyrie
Up in the Air
AvP: Requiem (which was cheaper than the first one for some reason....is it awful?)
Alice in Wonderland

Several I haven't seen, several I saw and enjoyed. Saw Taken, which annoys me since I just bought it brand new for $13; I wonder if there's 4 other movies I'd want and just return that copy.

Amazing deal. Picked up 10 BDs for $40 this morning, along with PS3 Nier for $10. The lady asked for the password, which I amazingly remembered :)

Picked up Red Cliff Part I and II, Beowulf, Brothers Bloom and District 13: Ultimatum. The clerk was nice enough to convert District B13: Ultimatum when I asked and said that more shipments will be coming in. I'm very tempted to go back and pick up five more...

oh god, you would have to pay me to see that movie again it was so bad. I paid 95 cents for it on dvd and that was hard.

It was not advertised at the store I went to, but I was able to pick up

Watchmen
The Ghost Writer
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
District 9
Inglourious Basterds

I was going to get Shutter Island but the disc was missing and it was the only copy the store had :(

My store actually had a sign promoting the sale, so no password necessary. The cashier also said that the sale is going until 6/6 and that they will be getting more movies over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully this means stuff like Iron Man 2 will drop to $9.99. I was really hoping to find Shutter Island and Sherlock Holmes. I might have to check out another BB or two.

Here's what I picked up:

Drag Me To Hell
Moon
Terminator: Salvation
Pineapple Express
Gattaca

I was shocked to see Gattaca marked for $9.99. The cashier said she was going to pick it up after her shift but that I got the last one. What do you say to that without sounding like a total jerk, really?

Got Watchman, Up, Quarantine, Scott Pilgrim and District 9. No advertisement in the store but all rang up perfectly, thanks for the heads up in this sale.

Discmakers.com IS the way to go if you want replacement cases.

Don't settle for other sites. I mistakenly ordered some from ebay only to get some that had squared corners and slightly thicker than the real ones.

Anyway, I hit up BB after work. Picked up:

Friday the 13th: Uncut
Shutter Island
Taken
The Wrestler
Wolfman

Didn't find the following but if I do I'll also get:

Inglorious Basterds
Zodiac
Casino
Goodfellas
Sherlock Holmes

Friday the 13th
Inglourious Bastards
Scott Pilgrim
Zombieland
Fantastic 4 ROTSS

Thanks OP, just sent the wife out to pick out 5 more.

thanks lol all week I was shopping at BestBuy and looking at deals related to it that I ended up typing BestBuy instead of Blockbuster xD

Picked up...

Terminator Salvation
Eyes Wide Shut
Zombieland
JFK
Hurt Locker
The Box
2012
King Kong
No Country for Old Men
Inglorious Bastards

One pick up today that is not on the sale list is Lonesome Dove on Blu-Ray. It rang up @ $9.99, making it part of the sale. I had no idea it was released on Blu-Ray.

Went to one store yesterday. The signage wasn't up, but the guy knew about the sale and pointed me to the discs... Good Lord - they had just about everything on the list. I picked out 5, but then asked myself if I really wanted the movies or if I was just picking them up because they were cheap. Stupid conscience. I put them all back...

Picked up Red Cliff 1&2, Clerks 2, Ponyo, and Let the Right One In. No signage. Clerk didn't say anything about the sale. Didn't even blink at the total.

I'm an animation freak, so the gf and I Grabbed

Princess and the frog
Astroboy
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs
Tinkerbell 2
Scott pilgrim
Alice in wonderland (burton)
Youth in Revolt
Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist
Twilight (only one gf didn't have BR for)
It's Complicated

Really hoped for Ponyo or/and 9 as well but didn't have such luck...
They had the other "Nine" movie tho...

If I had more money to spare I would look at the other store not too far from where I reside for 9 and ponyo...

haha I'm the same exact way. I always ask myself how many times I'm actually going to watch the movie and then I tend to just put them back.

first store didnt want to give me the deal until friday...lame :(

and the second store made an exception because i didnt know the password...

i wanted watchmen but first store had it and the 2nd didnt :(
credit to dino88 for informing me of this site:

https://www.discmakers.com/shop/ParentGroups/BLURAYCASES.asp

You can get 25 cases for under $11 after shipping. Single or dual pack cases.
Is there a promo code to get $11 pricing. I have in my cart 25 single BR case (premium). $7.75 for the cases and $5.50 for shipping, $13.25 total to CA. Just wanted confirmation before I pull the trigger.

Please disregard what I said on the price for the blus. After shipping is added you will be paying roughly $15 to $16 depending on which cases you get. STill not a bad deal.

Got
Star Trek
2012
Body of Lies
Hurt Locker
Up in the Air

Good deal. Thank you. Other titles included 500 Days of Summer and Moon.

They had a pretty limited selection when I went but I was able to get 5 that I at least semi-wanted. I think Ocean's 11 and 12 were $9.99 also but I'm not interested in those, but you could potentially get the whole trilogy for $12.

Star Trek
Watchmen
District 9
Bruno
The Wrestler

Had a few other titles i'd be interested in like Zombieland and Public Enemies but have those on DVD already and didn't feel like getting all movies that I already own (already had Star Trek and Watchmen on DVD.)

Would have jumped on Inglourious Basterds and/or Moon if they had it even though I have those on DVD too.

Ended up getting:
Star Trek
Hurt Locker
District 9
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Planet 51

$21 out the door =)
how did u guys get in on the deal. does it just ring up automatically on the computer?
did for me. Dont know if the employee has to enter a code first or not but I wasnt asked a password or anything. Just took em up and he rang em up and my total was the price of the 5 for 20.

i made the stupid choice of asking them if it was on sale then..

I walked in and the employee walked over to me looking at the blu-rays and told me about the sale. Looked like he had to enter something first before he scanned all of the movies, but had no problems.
