Made another trip myself, even replaced a couple BBV DVDs with their Blu equivalents (and probably paid the same amount). Got Taken, Ghost Writer, 500 Days of Summer, Funny People, and District 9. And now you guys are telling me there might be new stuff out tomorrow? Oh god. It's pay day.

Got myself
'No Country for Old Men', 'Zombieland', '(500) Days of Summer', 'The Road', and 'Up in the Air'.

I was told it goes until June 6th, and they will be adding more titles as mentioned above.
why bother when there is a guy on ebay selling premium cases with chrome logo 20 for like, 14-15 bucks shipped.

also, anyone visit their BBV's to see what they updated?
perhaps because you can get them cheaper on that site?

I dont know what the premiums look like but I got my elites in he mail and they look identical to normal bluray cases. Silver logo on top and its not the engraved logo cases, which I hate.
So what's the exact deal going on. Are 12.99's on the list? There were a lot of 12.99's i wanted to pick up yesterday at one location.
9.99 and under

Update:
I went ahead and bought the Elite cases for $15.25 shipped, not bad. ill just be needing 15 or 20 of it, so if someone is interested on buying the extra 5 just shoot me a PM.

Went yesterday, picked up a 3 for $20

9 ($9.99)
How to train your dragon ($12.99)
Let Me In ($12.99) (for possible trade to a CAG, If not I'll just keep it)

Was in the hope for Ponyo in store but no love... No luck on that title anywhere here

I was able to get:

The Town, Inception and Robin Hood today for $20. I picked up 5 for $20 the other day and today they had a 3 for $20 on any blu's 14.99 or under. I couldn't resist Inception on blu for that price.

If anyone is in Lexington, KY... the store on Saron Dr. has 3 for $20 on blu's under 14.99 and 5 for $20 under 9.99.

Better hurry though if you want any good ones. There were only 2 Towns left, 2 Inceptions and I got the last Robin Hood.
I just can't seem to find a copy of Taken. Found a Ponyo, 9, Godfather part 2, Green Zone, but no Taken.
I can find a ton of Taken but zero No Country for Old Men's. If you can find NCFOM, I am willing to strike a trade. :)

Just went today and scored
Star Trek-last copy, lucky me
Taken-2 copies left
District 9
2012
and shutter island

Kind of wished i got scott pilgrim instead of taken though.

I picked up today

The Karate Kid (2010 movie)
Grown Ups
Give em Hell Malone
This is it
The Road

Going to try another store here later today.

Picked up:

Taken
The Song Remains the Same
Brooklyn's Finest
The Tale of Despereaux
Star Trek

Was surprised to see a good variety of movies left. I'm guessing Salisbury, NC doesn't have as much traffic as other places. May go back tomorrow for more.
I went today and the sale was not advertisied and the one clerk there knew nothing of this sale. Whats going on?
It should still ring up on the register as long as all the movies are $9.99 or less.

Not too bad today. Wasn't going to but it's too good to pass up.

Picked up

Couples Retreat
Sherlock Holmes
Inglorious Basterds
Four Christmases
Clerks II
Zombieland
Scott Pilgrim
Benjamin Button
Dogma
Shutter Island
Red Cliff I
Red Cliff II
Nick and Norah
Night at the Museum 2
Astro Boy

To those talking about the Blockbuster bankruptcy dealings. I'm not sure you're up to speed. They've been purchased by Dish Network and are attempting to keep the remaining stores open. We'll see how it goes but this could be the beginning of a nice comeback for them.

Avatar
The Duchess
Underworld Rise of Lycans
The Other Boleyn Girl

apologies if i repeated something already on the list.
This was an awful sale. None of them come in their original cases and even the artwork was a re-printed replica blown up to fit a DVD case and not the original.

Worthless.
These were not in their original case but the artwork is original.
Picked up:
Zombieland
Quantum of Solace
The Wrestler
Scott Pilgrim
Repo Men

Now...where is the best place to buy BR cases?
If you have a used DVD/video game store in your area, sometimes they carry them.
Like "Media Xchange".

Ok, I'm done. Here's what I got from the sale....
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Flightplan
Moon
Underworld Rise of the Lycans
Superbad (2 disc)
Terminator Salvation
Starship Troopers
Species
Knowing
The Final Destination
Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer
Punisher War Zone
Rob Zombie's Halloween (2 disc)
Rob Zombie's Halloween II
Superman Batman Public Enemies
Batman Gotham Knight
Inglourious Bastards
Sex in the City
You Don't Mess With The Zohan
Paranormal Activity
1408
Eagle Eye
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Friday the 13th Uncut
Zombieland

I ended up with:
District 9
Unthinkable (Blind buy, hopefully worth it)
Public Enemies
The Men Who Stare At Goats
Lonesome Dove

Thanks op
This is what I did for them:

With the discount and free shipping it was under $13, I was OK with that.
FYI, the 2-disc versions of the case are 90-cents cheaper and seem to still qualify for free standard shipping. Wish I could round up the quantity to 30. Not sure I actually will wind up filling up the other 20 in the future if I buy two 25-packs.

Anyone know if they've added more titles to the 5 for $20 deal?

The other day I picked up:

Taken
Friday the 13th (1980 - Uncut)
Star Trek
Inglorious Basterds
Shutter Island

I see a lot of people are buying movies I saw that were priced at $12.99. Are they included in the sale, or were these movies incorrectly marked?

Which movies? All of mine were 9.99 or less

I went to my BB today to see if anything got added since the sale "officially" started today. I didn't see a lot of new $9.99 movies but there were a whole new set of $12.99 and $15.99 priced movies that I'd pick up in a heartbeat if they ever qualified for this sale.

yeah, BB stupidly didn't include the $12.99 or $16.99 on the 3 for $20 deal.... especially when you can get 90% of those titles for $10-$12 at walmart or elsewhere right now.

I've seen more then a few movies marked as $9.99 at one store and $12.99 at the other. I think the employees just did a bad job of changing the prices tags on some movies. There was at least one I bought that was marked $12.99 but rang up as $9.99.

picked up
Halloween 2 (rob zombie)
Inglorious basterds
Legion
National Treasure 2
Ninja assassin
Scott pilgrim
2012
Collector
Wanted
Stepbrothers
all blu-ray

Went back and picked up the following:

Dan in Real Life
Grown Ups
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
Burn After Reading
Away We Go

Still no sign of any price drops for the $12.99 and $16.99 movies and there never was a copy of Ponyo. They did change the 3 for 20 so that the deal would apply to Blu-Ray's as well.

Scooped up Life Of Brian, Public Enemies, Trick R Treat, JFK, and Zombieland on blu. There were copies of Ponyo everywhere. Might go back for more.. Hard to beat $4 a movie.

Went to the BBV in Suffolk, VA expecting most of the good titles to be gone. Surprisingly, the clerk acted like they haven't had much business at all. After buying 20 blu-rays, he remarked "Tell your friends." I asked if he had any blu-ray cases and he said that he did, and would replace the stock cases with them. About 15 minutes later I walked up to the counter and he had put most of them in PS3 cases, lol. Oh well, I guess they're better than the stock BB cases.

This is it, i already spent too much on this sale :whistle2:# . This are all the stuff i got from the sale. Lucky me, some blus comes with the original casing on my BBV just like ghandi. Then already ordered 25 pack of bluray case at supermediacenter.com , $13.05 shipped.
So are they doing 3 for $20 on Blu-ray titles over $10 now?
I found one store that was doing it -- Saron Dr. in Lexington, KY. I was able to get The Town, Inception and Robin Hood on blu for $20. The other two stores I went to in Lexington, KY were only doing 5 for $20. So, I am not sure, seems like a YMMV to me.

the movies you bought were over $10. They are having a 3 for 20 sale on movies over $10. The 5 for $20 sale is for movies $9.99 or less.
