for some reason they took away the batb pre order cards at my store :( any idea I went on tuesday when JATJP came out but they did not have it now they have it but do not have the cards :(

Guys, Im kinda confuse about the Cars price. Right now TRUs website say Cars Bluray price is 24.99. Is this $14.99 Cars bluray price in-store only? Or a promotion that if i pre-order BatB + Cars, Cars price will be automatic $14.99? Can someone please explain this. Thanks in advance! I really want to buy Cars Blu if it's only $4.99 after pre-order of BatB blu.

Its in-store only for $14.99 after $10 instant saving which is unadvertised, so no coupon needed or pre-order with BatB. If you want both, total should be $9.99, see above post.

Regarding that Cars bluRay pricing-- I wonder if the Disney upgrade coupon ($8 off to upgrade from DVD to BluRay) would work with it also... just a thought.
 
The Last Song coupon (just looked) is for the BluRay combo pack-- which is on sale on Target website for 24.99 Aug 17. Coupon good through Aug 22. Love Nicholas Sparks.... Miley Cyrus? eh... maybe worth $15 to watch it once or twice. :)

Doesn't state if they are blu ray or not...some of the packaging seems to elude to the fact that they are.

Also the disney coupon should still work because I don't think that it states it needs to be at MSRP.

Anyone know how long to get the coupon links in the email? I just sent off my upgrade form today.
 
Cars: Maters Tall Tails and Toy Story 3 are coming out on the same day (Nov 2). I think it's safe to expect a promo price for both as well as $10 coupons for both.
 
My Daughter also loves those. In for one. There is also a CT:MTT wii title coming out as well. I wonder if any of the stores will do one of those buy the game/get the movie $X-off promos again.
 
Last week I was being lazy so I bought James and the Giant Peach blu-ray for $16.99 using that DMR $10 coupon at BB. Today I decided I'll go to TRU and try stacking the DMR coupon with the $10 off discount for pre-ordering Beauty and the Beast. So, I was able to pick up the JatGP blu-ray with a $5 pre-order deposit on the BatB blu-ray for $14.99. I'm hoping TRU will have BatB on sale and DMR will have another $10 coupon :D

FYI the pre-order cards for Toy Story 3 are already available at TRU.

if the toy story promo stack, which it might, last song would end up being negative after coupon and such. i will be testing this on tuesday when i go. if anyone tries this before hand please scan a receipt like i did and show us how it breaks out.
 
actually technically it wouldn't be a negative at toys r us since the last song is 24.99 and then u add on 10 dollars for the 2 preorders to increase the price to 34.99 - 20 for the 2 preorders and then a 10 dollar coupon to make the final price 4.99 before taxes :)
still a damn good deal if you ask me

won't be the best deal of the week though, haha I found a copy of civilisation the complete bbc series on dvd shipped for 6.96 on amazon and on the same page they say i could get a 45 dollar gift card for trading it back to them :)

actually tru does not apply the coupon directly to the item. it gets listed on the bottom of the receipt after the products are listed, the tru preorder discounts are counted towards the item directly.

with toy story, you could go below 0.00, i did and used that credit toward other movies at the time to eat up the credit.

I am not talking about the available total, I am talking about the actual total. I had an extra 1.35 or something in credit left on the coupon (and I could have added some candy to the order or whatever), but the actual total on the receipt had to be .99 before tax. Even though I still had credit, the computer would not go below .99 for the items.

ah, i see. that is interesting to know, i guess i have never bought anything by itself like that. i usually buy something else at the same time to hide the total.

At TRU, saw a sign for 5 off Monster Inc sale while picking up the Halo reach card promo, making the price
