While searching on Amazon.ca I found several "exclusive" releases found only in Canada. With some already released, and more coming, I figured I would make a small list for those interested. I've bought several releases so far and if anyone else has some of the ones below please comment on them. Most of these releases sell for 12.95 - 17.95 and with the exchange rate, they only add up to a typical USA catalog release.

* A Nightmare on Elm Street (TrueHD) (Heavy DNR...USA Release likely to be the same transfer due to it being Warner/Newline) NO special features

I dont know if I got it.. since I wont be home til sunday night.. Im hoping I didnt.. Im praying SAW 5 came in !!
 
Rome has no immediate Blu-Ray plans. HBO seems to be stalling any sort of switch to HD. They only have the one channel in most places in HD and it doesn't have repeats of old shows. They got rid of their On-Demand channel in HD and Deadwood and Sopranos seasons 1 Blu-Ray are on indefinite delay. If those don't come out Rome sure as shit won't be out anytime sooner.

BD has not shipped yet...I talked to a few reviewers today. As for Saw V....hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha.

BDs wont be available for review until Monday...so likely you won't see reviews until Tuesday (which is its release date). DVD copies went out today, so check this weekend on DVDTalk and such.

Right. It was 17.95 canadian during the holidays and I almost bit. 22.95 now.

Don't bother. Its not worth it..the complete lack of special features is a slap to the face of fans :( Plus the audio is rather low-key for an action-oriented movie...

if you want it let me know Im ready to get rid of it lol.

February 10: 'Miracle at St. Anna,' 'Pretty Woman'
February 17: 'High School Musical: Remix,' 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year'
March 3: 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua'

Also in 2009 (Dates TBA): 'A Bug's Life,' 'The Greatest Game Ever Played,' 'Good Will Hunting,' 'Lost: The Complete First Season,' 'Lost: The Complete Second Season,' 'Microcosmos,' 'Miracle,' 'Monsters, Inc.', 'Morning Light,' 'Pulp Fiction,' 'Rounders,' 'Sin City' and 'Sling Blade.'

Most of those were announced already, nothing new.

I'm hoping that Ghostbusters will be DNR-Less, as compared to nightmare on elm street.. but yeah..
 
I'm going to pick up the Pixar stuff and Pulp Fiction for sure. In fact, I need to go ahead and do something with the copy of Monster's Inc. I have now.
 
A Bug's Life and Monster, Inc? Oh hell yes. :D

Toss in Pulp Fiction and Sin City, and that's some goodness to be had.

Surprising that Disney/ABC is going back and doing the first two seasons of Lost on BR, since most studios don't seem to be doing that, save NBC with Heroes S1.
 
You guys are crazy. It is all about my boy Matt Damon and that Good Will Hunting and Rouders. I will grab Pulp Fiction as well, but Matt Damon is TN, TD.
