Blur - $20 Off Manufacturer Coupon

FYI, Amazon currently has this listed at $32.50 in trade, so if it holds and we see another $40 sale price before the end of the month (a lot of ifs) it's a nice flip for 2-3 (YMMV on using the coupon three times, obviously).
Someone needs to ask SHC to rerun the kmart promo
agreed, or even put it on sale for $29.99...that would be sweet...

A little heads up... this is entered in Best Buy's system so
that you will still pay tax on the $20.00

Mine started out at regular $59.99 -$25.00 RZcert / -$20 Coupon.
Should have been $16.05, but they would not buckle on the $17.44,
which was $34.99 + tax, minus the $20 coup.

Going to call up member services armed with my
premiere status clout and try to abolish the extra $1.40.

because manufacture coupons are treated like cash and you pay tax on the full amount at most if not all stores nowadays... store coupons come off before tax.

That is exactly what I was told. Figured I would give it a shot
and they gently straightened me out. Was being playful about my "clout."
Wasn't sure if it was common knowledge that the $20 was taxable.
It was my first, since I have only dealt with BB coups for as
long as I can remember.

oh definitely worth the try... was just saying that's pretty much how they're sup'd to work.
Hmm, you have to install couponprinter.exe to print the coupon...

Nah, I'm not going to do that.
yeah... it's only been around for years and is now used by pretty much all the big manufacturers for all their online coupons...

cool. thanks for sharing.

Just FYI - couponprinter is legit.

I wonder if Blur will be included in the B1G1 50% off at Target next week ... and if we can use the $20 off coupon on top of it.

... possibly get 2 full price games down to $35. ($60 + $30 - $20)/2

where did you see the info on Target B1G1?

It's a really good game though the single player experience is a bit lacking. Highly recommended if you can grab it for $30 or less, $40 if your a PGR nut who wants some mario kart mixed in.

They would be $35 each so wouldn't it just be easier to do the Best Buy deal for $30?

if u buy 2 Blur's, wouldn't it be

(60 + 30 - 20 - 20)/2 = 25 each

Would Target let you use 2 coupons?
You could always make 2 separate visits, though your total would be a bit higher due to taxation on 2 separate purchases.
But if you are doing the B1G1, you can't do that.
Anyone know if K-Mart will let me take the coupon there and get a price adjustment?
I think there's a particular reason why the kmart promo ended before coupon was released. So you couldn't double dip.

matt- thanks for the link
Waiting for the crazy wrong math to start rolling in.
If I don't walk out with 2 copies of Blur for $20 I'm going to have to make a scene.
what if you bought 20 blurs = 40 x 20 - 20 /40 = free!

edit: + tax.
1. I'm not getting your math
2. How are you going to get 40 coupons? I can only print 2

I've got 40 monkeys banging out the next great american novel for me. I told them to take a second from their infinite time and print a coupon each.

Absolutely. No offense taken at all.
I was acknowledging the accuracy of your verbiage matching theirs
word for word. I was kind of reveling in my failed attempt.

The coupon clearly states "ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE".

Instead of looking like a cheap ass gamer, you would look like an ass
Figures they would do this right AFTER I got it for $40 at KMart last week. Oh well.
Simple Fix: Pick up cheaper with this $20 off coupon and then return the sealed copy to KMart.

Stupid fucking thing wouldn't print, just showed me a print icon and forwarded me to the Blur game page. Upon retry it said I had already used up all my prints. :bomb:

eh?

math fail?

Wasn't the game $39.99 at kmart? Where are the savings?

YMMV because the UPCs are going to be different.

Potentially stack with the BB RZ coupon for another $10 off, bringing price of game to 29.99
Why would the UPC's be different?
I picked up Blur from Kmart last week. It has a logo that's part of the box art (ie: not a sticker) that says, "Free Chrome BMW" or some such. In my experience, anytime something is included in the box (a code in this case) and is specific to a retailer, you run the risk of the UPCs being different.

Same here i got the reward zone but not gamers club

just sign up for Gamer's Club guys, but doesn't matter if you're an official member or not to use the coupon; just need a RZ id or someones phone number who has it. And don't let them give you crap about not being able to take 2 coupons. The RZ coupon will have to be rung in prior to hitting total. Manufacturer coupon will be 'typed' in (not scanned) by having them press F7, the yellow highlighted key. The will then enter an amount. I would just argue that a MFG. coupon can be used in conjunction w/ the RZ coupon b/c they will get reimbursed. Plus, don't even show your hand until after she totals it out, then whip out the $20 off...
