As you can guess, some of the people in film/production classes aren't the brightest bulbs, and I had one girl once argue with me that you should be able to get an A+ in college classes. I asked her how she'd reflect that in a 4.0 scale and she said she'd give it a 4.3.

"That's a 4.3 scale"
"No.. it's out of 4.0"

EDIT: Our scale is the thirds. B+ = 3.33, A- = 3.66

Excellent news.

How do you keep up with this sort of thing, rabbitt? I usually just check every one or two years for new material (although Soundamus has helped a lot on that front).

Well I think job interview went well, but I won't know if I got it until probably the end of the week.

Also I ate at Chick-Fil-A and watched Sunshine Cleaning.

I'm just noticing how a lot of his rhyme schemes are here are way too similar and he's not saying anything new or interesting.

Meh, I'm not surprised.
 
For someone who hates Star Trek, which of the original films would be worth seeing and stand alone as good movies, lordwowous?

(My Blu-ray queue is down to 4 movies and a bunch of the Star Treks movies come out on Blu tomorrow.)

I tried to watch what I thought were the best ones(2,4,6) after seeing the new one this weekend. The only one I could watch all the way through was 4, and only because it was an '80's movie' and not slow, boring Trek.

YMMV on tolerance for 80's films though.

I don't have a good method, honestly. I usually think, "it's been awhile since I've heard anything from X, I wonder what they're up to..." and check their myspace or do a quick google search.
