Borders has almost all of their HD-DVDs on sale for $9.99. While a lot of these aren't that exciting for that price, if you keep on searching you will find some amazing deals.

I wanted to share this with the CAG community. I thought about just letting my order process to avoid possible cancellation, but this deal is just too good not to share with you guys. Hopefully it's not a price mistake, but we shall see.

I call SHINANIGANS! on the entire Borders company!!
As soon as I saw the link for the Matrix trilogy yesterday, I went to the site and ordered it.
I got an email overnight saying that they canceled my order "for one of two reasons: either at your request or because the items are unexpectedly unavailable."
I did not cancel it so I am assuming it was on their side.
I went to the site this morning AND THE LISTING IS STILL THERE AND THEY ARE STILL TAKING ORDERS FOR IT!
I am begining to think they are doing this just to get your information for a mailing list they will sell later or just to get you to sign up for their "rewards card". (Either way they will probibly sell your information to a mailer company anyway.)

Since they already have my info, I think I may try to order it again just to see what happens.
OH! they said that they have not charged my card too, but there sure is a hold on it for this.... hmm....
*before you say anything, I know it is just a hold - but it still is keeping me from using that money for something else*

It's just bad business overall. They either don't know how much inventory they even have, or they're just really slow at updating it on the website.
 
They tried to authorize my credit card again today, for the order I placed a month ago (Planet Earth HD). I called this time and they said that have no more HD-DVDs and will not be getting any more. All the orders should have been canceled but some still say "Processing" and so they will continue to authorize the card every 30 days.
On the phone with me she was able to manually cancel my order. Some of these orders will require a phone call to cancel. She said that my order should have been canceled automatically and I should have received an email but it was not and I did not. She was polite and apologized. I was only on the phone for a couple minutes. No big deal.
If you are still waiting for your HD DVDs you should call or send an email so they can cancel your order manually.

I never even got a cancellation. In fact, I forgot that I even placed an order here until you bumped the thread! :D
