Burnout Paradise - General Discussion & Info / TROPHY HUNTERS WELCOME!

I would love to play, but Thursdays do not work for me :( Tuesdays and Mondays are cool if you are trying to keep it during the week.

I'll be on tomorrow night as well. I need to do some more multiplayer challenges anyway. Add me if you guys need another player :)

Sorry, I'm beyond tired and have to go to bed. I was also a bit busy with stuff so couldn't be there earlier. Like I said, next week (or the week after), I'll be on the whole time.

Good game. I can't believe I just sank 2 hours into that. Amazing.

Good news is that it should only take several more days to go through all the challanges. :D

Looking forward to it next week.

Thanks for the tip on switching to the Vegas, got my double barrel roll achievement out of it. But why is a car with low speed, low boost, and high strength (which I assume means heavier) better at flying than cars with high speed, high boost, and low strength?
Oh shit! I missed todays game! :bomb:

Oh well, I guess it was for the best... I would have whoop'd y'all if I was on.
No worries, there's always next week. Those challenges were kinda fun. I really want to get those completed to see what car you get ...

lol yeah you kept crashing at the hoop until you switched to the Vegas.:)
I've just always almost been able to get the hoop jumps with the Vegas Carnivale on that area. I guess its the car weight or something as other similar cars I could never get it with (tried with GT Flame and it wouldn't even reach the hoop lol).
So we all up for some gaming this Thursday?
Definitely. Unfortunately, the headline says that the next night is TBA.

Can we get that changed, Thomas96?
Yes, we will have a game this Thursday. Unfortunately I cannot host this week, but the next week I can.
StrandedBrit did a fine job last Thursday, and we were able to stay on later than usual.

I usually host because I have the internet connection advantage WHEN I'm back at home. But that game I really had to leave early and couldn't stay on for long.

Was having so much fun I didn't realize it was so late! Good times though.
Reminder that game tonight @ 10pm EST (or a little earlier if you don't watch Lost).
Wait...there are people who don't watch Lost? :)

I don't either :D

Anyhow, I'll be joining you guys tonight for some T-Boning action.

I bailed out due to lagging a lot and couldn't hear you all too well (It's my internet fault at my apartment). Since I'll be on break and will have plenty of free time, I might be the one hosting next week (I do have one of the stronger connections at CAG when I'm at home), but we'll see. I'd be willing to play for a while, just not above 3 hours (I kind of hate leaving my PS3 on for longer than that, or any console).

What I did play was fun and I'll see you all later.

As for Lost, I've never seen the show before.

One word that would describe tonight: LOL

Seriously, it was a lot of fun to be had, and the reason I didn't speak at all is, as you can probably imagine, due to the fact that I lost my mic! :bomb:
It felt weird playing online without a mic; I felt a bit disconnected from you guys... Though I did have a good time. Thanks SB. :)

...Oh, and I are the barrel roll l33t :p

Yet another excellent evening of Burnout...thanks to all.
...Oh, and I are the barrel roll l33t :p
Was that the part where you had like, 47 of 'em...and I was working my azz off to get 3 of them?
Lol yeah that was crazy times at the airfield
Hopefully we're mostly done with those now. Seems like that's been the hang out point for the last 2 weeks. :bouncy:

I know it's Warhawk night, but if anyone's up for some more Burnout beforehand I should be on around 8 or so. Or maybe some UT3?

It's only Monday, but where's the hype for this Thursday!?

Also - You'll have to excuse my silence, as I don't have a headset...yet. Am I really missing THAT much?

Hell I'm hyped. Burnout nights are always fun. Having a mic isn't that necessary compared to say cod4, but it's cool to have especially when you need some tips for the challenges.

I got the Carbon Ubershall the other night (for completing two sets of challenges, but I'll help out you guys if you need more challenges done. :)

!!

Criterion's Alex Ward hopped on the forums to tell everyone that all upcoming Paradise DLC will be bridges that lead off of Paradise City into new DLC worlds and experiences. This of course is a great way to not divide the community, because anyone who doesn't have the DLC simply cannot cross the bridge and instead will remain in Paradise City. Genius! Criterion also dangled a carrot in front of our noses by giving us a video of a new vehicle, The Dust Storm, that'll be included in the next DLC batch. Yummy!
