I managed a little extra space for my games as well, but at the cost of shoving some of my literature library under a cabinet. There's probably some sort of message about the sad state of culture in that, but I'm more than satisfied with the result :D

Speaking of creating space for collections, I've been considering getting rid of... books from my bookshelf so I have space for more games when my lowball winnings arrive. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

I just noticed the stealth preview. That grab bag of PS1 games is a horrible trap. I'd be tempted to go for it but it would end up costing me three times what I pay because I'd have to hunt down cases and manuals :lol:

I just have a ton of old PS1 RPGs with no cases that I don't really consider part of my collection these days.

Nope. If you want to be a sleuth, all my disc-only PS1 games are listed in my CAG Collection but not in the one on the TL, so you could probably figure most of them out.
 
Figured out what the lot's going to include. It would seem that I already own half and I can't find cases and manuals for the other half on ebay anywhere, so we'll see.

Sadly I'm on gaming hiatus until I can properly hold a controller again. I was going to wait until after my trip to Cali next week before getting AC2 anyway.

I'm going to buy it while I'm out in California, but I have a hard time imagining anything comparing to Dragon Age for me at this point.

I think it's fantastic, though that much is obvious. But I love Bioware and I love fantasy RPGs, so it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that I was going to love it. Right now based on finishing about 1/2 of it I'd say it's my third favorite RPG of this generation behind Valkyria Chronicles and Oblivion.

It's VERY heavily influenced by the fantasy genre as a whole. For example, there are several scenes which seem like pretty much direct homages to the Lord of the Rings films.

2) Mass Effect
3) Fallout 3
4) Dragon Age
5) Oblivion

So yes it is that good. Go get it, also it is on sale at GS

I forgot about Fallout 3, but I think I still would put it a hair below Oblivion. Your list needs more Valkyria Chronicles :D. All those games would be in my top 10 though, along with a few darkhorses like Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey.

Maybe you know this since you pay more attention to achievements than I do (understatement of the century) - how many playthroughs are needed to 1000/1000 Dragon Age? My math says 3 (though you would only need to beat it once provided you managed saves to get all endings), since you need to reach level 20 with each class. I'm planning to play it through 3 times at minimum.
 
It depends on how dilligent you are with the romance subplots and finding all your party memebers because if my memory serves me right those are the two tedious ones to get. It wont be like Mass Effect and require like 6 plays, but this game has a bit more depth with the different story plots and different characters.

Well I know Morrigan and Alistair will only sleep with men and women respectively, so you'd have to play through it at least twice just to get far enough for that. The party members aren't that tough, although there's one who getting him affects the story a lot, so I'll probably wait on that one. Other than that I think I'll get all of the characters in my first playthrough without much hassle. Those are probably the types of achievements which will actually be easier for people who are just playing the game through normally rather than for achievement hunters.
