Actually Laugh on srk has JLFs in stock. Only dark hai though. He also has the inpin converter back in stock.

Also modmanchip has them in stock too.

I stand corrected

May buy a GT-Y and Bat Top when they become available. Unsure how the octagon will feel. I have used my TE stick for two days and like the ability to hit the corners. The Japanese are wise.

I just wrote a guide for installing an MC Cthulhu and Imp board into an Xbox 360 SF4 SE Stick.
http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=184787
This allows you to make a stick that works with Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 3, GameCube/Wii, Playstation 1/2, and Xbox 1. The principles can be applied to other sticks like the TE stick or Fighting Stick EX2, too.

Hope it helps somebody!
Double post, but I'm curious about Korean sticks. Markman or somebody, recommend one. I'm seriously looking at a Saulabi, because shit's cheap.
I'd recommend either getting a Saulabi or stick.pe.kr stick (ask laugh to order you one on SRK).... and swap the parts out.

Crown buttons.

For the lever however. It'll be up to you to decide. Personally I would recommend a Taeyoung Fanta or one of the newer style crown sticks.

Myoungshin Fanta is alright too, but new style Crowns and Taeyoung Fantas (hard spring/medium) are the way to go. It's what most of the Korean Tekken players prefer.

When and how much? Wait a minute... those aren't based off of those cheap Fight Sticks are they? The 360 one looks exactly like the EX2...
They always fuck over the 360 users.

PS3 version is based off the HRAP3 and 360 is indeed an EX2.
Wow, you're right, I didn't notice the Start and Select buttons on the PS3 one. Thank you lord for the BlazBlue HRAP3! Now I can finally fucking get one ... if I don't find a TE first that is.

Man, GS better get the PS3 version so I can use my credit for something worthy, plus I don't have any actual money to spend :p

Long shot but that's my only option right now :(
Someone at Neogaf mentioned the PS3 stick might have soldered Hori buttons...
Yeah, Hori likes to do that with their branded HRAPs. It's just a pain in the ass, but manageable.

Aww, I got all excited for nothin'

Is an easy to mod stick too much to ask for? I'm not good at soldering. >_<
Yes, its going to be a shitty HRAP3. So be warned.

I'll take pics of it soon. (actual)
... a shitty HRAP3?

I used to have an EX2.. even though I sold it I thought it was a great stick. I don't really notice much of an improvement from EX2 to TE.

I think the TE's biggest improvement over the EX2 is it's modability and how it will hold up in the long run. I said "I think" instead "I know" because it's been 2 and a half months since I ordered a TE from Capcom and I STILL haven't gotten it yet.:roll::roll::roll::roll:

When
If?!
I get my TE, I'm going to put an octagonal gate in. The QCFx2 motions are a bitch to pull off in a bind with the EX2's square gate. Other than that, I'm leaving it stock....unless I decide to put in 2 more white buttons to complete the look.
The QCFx2 motions are a bitch to pull off in a bind with the EX2's square gate.
 You just need to learn how to do small circular motions.

Sm-all sir-cular mo-shuns? You mean like the hands on a wristwatch? But those go too slow for an intense fight!:rofl::rofl:

I never even thought of trying smaller motions.

I wish there were more excuses to post that robo-smiley. It doesn't get enough love.

I tried playing with an octo-gate last week. It did NOT go well X_X. Anyway, got a full time job for this summer. That means more cash to fuel my arcade stick fever. I still need to paint the one I'm using right now though, and figure out a better way to cut plexi.

To me.. the TE was worth the extra money for these reasons:

 1. cord storage compartment
 2. I like the placement of the start button
 3. I like the XBox button locker switch
 4. it's big and heavy (that's what she said)
I haven't noticed any real tangible differences parts-wise.

Some guy in Toronto is selling boxes, I'm on the list for one of the last ones.

I think I'm going to make it all Sanwa, since I have an all Seimitsu already. Is it possible to dualmod with a wireless 360 and Sixaxis?

Im currently experimenting with this idea to see if dual wireless mod a TE since i already did wireless for PS3, im not sure if can be done though
You're not very observant, then. The parts are wayyy better. The microswitches should last a lot longer too.
Yeah maybe I'm not.. on the EX2 I kept getting horizontals when I wanted verticals.. on the TE I get verticals when I wanted horizontals.
Judging by the prices on ebay... I'd wait
Well the prices are coming down on ebay actually. I just barely lost on a PS3 TE that went for $161. Kicking myself that I didn't bid a little higher. Normally they are going for closer to $220, but even that is a lot less than a few weeks ago.

Here's the one I missed at $161:

I have a pre-order in with Capcom anyway for $135, so hopefully that will come through in the next couple of weeks.

$161 is cheaper than buying retail in California.
