Hmm..hopefully someone can help, but I just had a gamebreaker glitch.

I've played about 5-6 hours of this game yesterday. Played earlier today and did some stuff. I got online and played and then saved everything and was done.

Got on just now and it still says that I've earned 11 out of X number of cars, but I can only see about 7-8 of them. Also instead of being around 18%, for some reason my file says I'm at 2%? I just turned it on so I couldn't have earned 2%.

Is this a glitch or is there something I need to do? There's absolutely no way I'm playing all of the stuff over that I did so I'm looking for a miracle from someone.

I can host next week, definitely. 5pm EST, cars or bikes. I might do both if I feel like it. Like 60-90 minutes of each.

Great fun. Had to mute a few people because of the backround noise coming from them but other than that we got stuff done pretty quickly. I'll definitely be there next week. Oh, and I FINALLY got the 8 person trophy so much kudos to everyone involved. My very first shiny platinum.

have you unlocked the gamestop/walmart/etc cars yet? You will be unable to use them until you have the appropriate license, but they might be considered 'unlocked' in that sense. Not sure about the save file thingy, but you may just have to do it all over again, which would suck, but hopefully not take too long.

Yeah... I noticed my speaker icon was nearly constantly lit up, though, I don't know why. Even if I muted the TV it was still lit up... The only time it went away was when I unplugged my Eye.
 
gg everyone. sorry for taking so long to get to places haven't played bp and bikes even in a while. we'll have to get that jump challenge next time.

Same thing for me. When someone mentioned it was getting some feedback I turned off all non talking sounds and my light was still on almost all the time.

All games should have a push to talk option available, it's not like burnout uses L3 (as far as I know anyway). That's one thing warhawk got right. Eventually I suppose I'll need to pick up that official headset, but I really have no interest in socom. They should make a KZ2 bundle with it (charge $70 or something).

I wonder if people were getting the sounds from me that I was hearing from you...

I didn't have this problem last week, so I thought it was the new tv, but muting it didn't help... There wasn't a sound in my room either... and going to the sound options (in the XMB) showed near zero activity on the little sound bar thing... strange.

Oh, and L3 will be used when the Legendary Cars come out later this year. :whee:

I'm looking forward to the car challeneges part of the sat. meet up. I deleted my save file to get the timed challenges and it sucks having to use the crappy cars again. They're pretty damn hard too.
 
I'm going to be in the process of taking names down of who wants to play. The game may not start until 5pm EST. I need to know because I want to see how to split up the group (some will play with me, some with KingBroly).

Like I said, I'd host it this week, and I thought I'd make it cars. A half hour later than my last hosting time. Also, I chose cars because I feel like it should be car-car-bike or car-car-car-bike because of the differentiating amount of challenges between the 2. But before I go any further, I will mention that I WILL NOT BE HOSTING ANY GAMING SESSIONS THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY. Why? Uh...you figure it out :)
 
Just got this game, really fun stuff.

Just a few questions. Is there any technique behind racing in terms of the best route I may be missing? I mainly try to align my car with the compass and go to the the blinking rode. Do you guys eventually learn the roads?

And which car type do you guys like the best? Right now I'm enjoying the aggression one the most.

All I need for the platinum trophy is the Mug Shot. Can't wait till Sunday!

I also need to do the 10 Timed Challenges, so hopefully we can run some of those this weekend as well.
 
I'm afraid that the content is going to be expensive. The difference between reg. version of burnout and the ultimate box is twenty dollars. If that's how much the party content is I will be flabbergasted. Regardless I am really looking forward to getting one hundred percent in burnout this weekend once I put my complete save file back on my ps3 after I get the glitched trophies.
 
I'll be there sunday. I have to say, even if the new DLC content is $20, I'd still get it just to support the company. In my opinion, they've set the bar on how a company should support a game after release.
 
So I need only one more trophy to get the platinum, and it's the freakin' mugshot. I have two different webcams in my house but neither of them are recognized by the PS3.:bomb::bomb::bomb:

My local Gamestop has an Eyetoy for $5, which would work. But is the energy and money needed to drive out there worth the time and money? I would really like to get that platinum, given the amount of time I've put in. But as a matter of principle, I am very disappointed that this trophy is necessary as it depends on having an "unnecessary" gadget, and not on skill. :bomb::bomb::bomb:

In the upcoming patch, is Criterion going to remove the Mugshot as a criteria for the platinum? :pray:

Lol, I was actually happy about this trophy since it was easy (I have Eyetoy and PS Eye). ;)
